Numerical solutions of nonlinear fractional Wu-Zhang system for water surface versus three approximate schemes显示文摘This paper examines the effects of three distinct numerical schemes(Adomian Decomposition, quintic&septic Spline methods)to investigate semi-analytical and approximate solutions on Wu-Zhang(ZW)system.It describes the(1+1)-dimensional dispersive long wave in two horizontal directions on shallow waters. The ZW model is one of the fractional nonlinear partial differential equations.Conformable derivatives properties are employed to convert the nonlinear fractional partial differential equation into an ordinary differential equation with integer order so as to obtain the approximate solutions for this model. The solutions obtained for each technique were compared to reveal their relationship to their characteristics illustrated under the suitable choice of the parameters values. The obtained solutions showed the power, easiness, and effectiveness of these methods on nonlinear partial differential equations.Mostafa M.A.Khater Raghda A.M.Attia Dianchen Lu 2019Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science2019,4,2:0
Spatiotemporal variations in ecological quality of Otindag Sandy Land based on a new modified remote sensing ecological index显示文摘Otindag Sandy Land in China is an important ecological barrier to Beijing;the changes in its ecological quality are major concerns for sustainable development and planning of this area.Based on principal component analysis and path analysis,we first generated a modified remote sensing ecological index(MRSEI)coupled with satellite and ground observational data during 2001–2020 that integrated four local indicators(greenness, wetness, and heatness that reflect vegetation status, water, and heat conditions, respectively,as well as soil erosion). Then,we assessed the ecological quality in Otindag Sandy Land during 2001–2020 based on the MRSEI at different time scales(i.e.,the whole year, growing season, and non-growing season).MRSEI generally increased with an upward rate of 0.006/a during 2001–2020,with clear seasonal and spatial variations.Ecological quality was significantly improved in most regions of Otindag Sandy Land but degraded in the southern part.Regions with ecological degradation expanded to 18.64%of the total area in the non-growing season. The area with the worst grade of MRSEI shrunk by 15.83%of the total area from 2001 to 2020,while the area with the best grade of MRSEI increased by 9.77%of the total area. The temporal heterogeneity of ecological conditions indicated that the improvement process of ecological quality in the growing season may be interrupted or deteriorated in the following non-growing season. The implementation of ecological restoration measures in Otindag Sandy Land should not ignore the seasonal characteristics and spatial heterogeneity of local ecological quality. The results can explore the effectiveness of ecological restoration and provide scientific guides on sustainable development measures for drylands.ZHAO Xiaohan HAN Dianchen LU Qi LI Yunpeng ZHANG Fangmin 2023Journal of Arid Land2023,15,8:0
Impact of melting heat transfer in the time-dependent squeezing nanofluid flow containing carbon nanotubes in a Darcy-Forchheimer porous media with Cattaneo-Christov heat flux显示文摘This study aims to investigate the time-dependent squeezing of nanofluid flow, comprising carbon nanotubes of dual nature, e.g. single-walled carbon nanotubes, and multi-walled carbon nanotubes, between two parallel disks. Numerical simulations of the proposed novel model are conducted, accompanied by Cattaneo-Christov heat flux in a Darcy-Forchheimer permeable media. Additional impacts of homogeneous–heterogeneous reactions are also noted, including melting heat. A relevant transformation procedure is implemented for the transition of partial differential equations to the ordinary variety. A computer software-based MATLAB function, bvp4c, is implemented to handle the envisioned mathematical model. Sketches portraying impacts on radial velocity, temperature, and concentration of the included parameters are given, and deliberated upon. Skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number are evaluated via graphical illustrations. It is observed that the local inertia coefficient has an opposite impact on radial velocity and temperature field. It is further perceived that melting and radiation parameters demonstrate a retarding effect on temperature profile.Muhammad Ramzan Nomana Abid Dianchen Lu Iskander Tlili 2020Communications in Theoretical Physics2020,72,8:0
Three-dimensional mixed convection flow with variable thermal conductivity and frictional heating显示文摘In this article,three-dimensional mixed convection flow over an exponentially stretching sheet is investigated.Energy equation is modelled in the presence of viscous dissipation and variable thermal conductivity.Temperature of the sheet is varying exponentially and is chosen in a form that facilitates the similarity transformations to obtain self-similar equations.Resulting nonlinear ordinary differential equations are solved numerically employing the Runge-Kutta shooting method. In order to check the accuracy of the method, these equations are also solved using bvp4c built-in routine in Matlab. Both solutions are in excellent agreement. The effects of physical parameters on the dimensionless velocity field and temperature are demonstrated through various graphs. The novelty of this analysis is the self-similar solution of the threedimensional boundary layer flow in the presence of mixed convection, viscous dissipation and variable thermal conductivity.M Qasim N Riaz Dianchen Lu S Shafie 2020Communications in Theoretical Physics2020,72,3:0
Solitary wave solutions for the generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony nonlinear evolution equation显示文摘In this paper,we utilize the exp(−ϕ(ξ))-expansion method to find exact and solitary wave solutions of the generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony nonlinear evolution equation. The generalized Zakharov-Kuznetsov-Benjamin-Bona-Mahony nonlinear evolution equation describes the model for the propagation of long waves that mingle with nonlinear and dissipative impact. This model is used in the analysis of the surface waves of long wavelength in hydro magnetic waves in cold plasma, liquids, acoustic waves in harmonic crystals and acoustic-gravity waves in compressible fluids.By using this method, seven different kinds of traveling wave solutions are successfully obtained for this model. The considered method and transformation techniques are efficient and consistent for solving nonlinear evolution equations and obtain exact solutions that are applied to the science and engineering fields.Aly R.Seadawy Dianchen Lu Mostafa M.A.Khater 2017Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science2017,2,2:0
