1Review of the characteristics and graded utilisation of coal gasification slag显示文摘The characteristics of the energy structure of rich coal,less oil and less gas,coupling with a high external dependence on oil and natural gas and the emphasis on the efficient and clean utilisation of coal,have brought opportunities for coal chemical industry.However,with the large-scale popularisation of coal gasification technology,the production and resulting storage of coal gasification slag continue to increase,which not only result in serious environmental pollution and a waste of terrestrial resources,but also seriously affect the sustainable development of coal chemical enterprises.Hence,the treatment of coal gasification slag is extremely important.In this paper,the production,composition,morphology,particle size structure and water holding characteristics of coal gasification slag are introduced,and the methods of carbon ash separation of gasification slag,both domestically and abroad,are summarised.In addition,the paper also summarises the research progress on gasification slag in building materials,ecological restoration,residual carbon utilisation and other high-value utilisation,and ultimately puts forward the idea of the comprehensive utilisation of gasification slag.For large-scale consumption to solve the environmental problems of enterprises and achieve high-value utilisation to increase the economic benefits of enterprises,it is urgent to zealously design a reasonable and comprehensive utilisation technologies with simple operational processes,strong adaptability and economic benefits.Xiaodong Liu Zhengwei Jin Yunhuan Jing Panpan Fan Zhili Qi Weiren Bao Jiancheng Wang Xiaohui Yan Peng Lv Lianping Dong 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7:21
2Fast recognition using convolutional neural network for the coal particle density range based on images captured under multiple light sources显示文摘A method based on multiple images captured under different light sources at different incident angles was developed to recognize the coal density range in this study.The innovation is that two new images were constructed based on images captured under four single light sources.Reconstruction image 1 was constructed by fusing greyscale versions of the original images into one image,and Reconstruction image2 was constructed based on the differences between the images captured under the different light sources.Subsequently,the four original images and two reconstructed images were input into the convolutional neural network AlexNet to recognize the density range in three cases:-1.5(clean coal) and+1.5 g/cm^(3)(non-clean coal);-1.8(non-gangue) and+1.8 g/cm^(3)(gangue);-1.5(clean coal),1.5-1.8(middlings),and+1.8 g/cm^(3)(gangue).The results show the following:(1) The reconstructed images,especially Reconstruction image 2,can effectively improve the recognition accuracy for the coal density range compared with images captured under single light source.(2) The recognition accuracies for gangue and non-gangue,clean coal and non-clean coal,and clean coal,middlings,and gangue reached88.44%,86.72% and 77.08%,respectively.(3) The recognition accuracy increases as the density moves further away from the boundary density.Feiyan Bai Minqiang Fan Hongli Yang Lianping Dong 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,6:4
3Image segmentation method for coal particle size distribution analysis显示文摘Particle size distribution is extremely important in the coal preparation industry.It is traditionally analysed by a manual screening method,which is relatively time-consuming and cannot immediately guide production.In this paper,an image segmentation method for images of coal particles is proposed.It employs the watershed algorithm,k-nearest neighbour algorithm,and convex shell method to achieve preliminary segmentation,merge small pieces with large pieces,and split adhered particles,respectively.Comparing the automated segmentation using this method with manual segmentation,it is found that the results are comparable.The size distributions obtained by the automated and manual segmentation methods are nearly identical,and the standard deviation is less than 3%,indicating good reliability.This automated image segmentation method provides a new approach for rapidly analysing the size distribution of coal particles with size fractions defined according to consumer requirements.Feiyan Bai Minqiang Fan Hongli Yang Lianping Dong 2021Particuology2021,19,3:3
4General formulas for drag coefficient and settling velocity of sphere based on theoretical law显示文摘The settlement of particles is of great importance in many areas.The accurate determination of drag coefficient and settling velocity in wide Reynolds number(Re)range remains a problem.In this paper,a series of new formulas for drag coefficient of spherical particles based on theoretical laws,such as the Stokes law,the Oseen law,and the Goldstein law,were developed and fitted using 480 groups of experimental data(Re<2 105).The results show that the 2nd approximation of a rational function containing only one parameter can describe CD–Re relationship accurately over the whole Re range of0–2 105.The new developed formulas containing five parameters show higher goodness over wide Re range than presently existing equations.The introduction of the Oseen law is helpful for improving the fitting goodness of the empirical formulas.On the basis of one of the Oseen-based CD–Re formulas giving the lowest sum of squared relative errors Q over the whole Re range(Re<2 105),a general formula for settling velocity utbased on dimensionless parameters was proposed showing high goodness.Yang Hongli Fan Minqiang Liu Airong Dong Lianping 2015International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2015,25,2:3
