1Directional hydraulic fracturing to control hard-roof rockburst in coal mines显示文摘Hard roof is the main factor that induces rock-burst.In view of the present obvious weakness of control measures for hard roof rockburst in domestic collieries,the mechanism and field application of directional hydraulic fracturing technology for rock-burst prevention have been investigated in this paper using theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The results show that the weighting span of the main roof and the released kinetic energy as well as the total elastic energy decreased greatly after the directional fracturing of hard roof with the mining progression,thereby reducing the rockburst hazard degree to coal body.The directional hydraulic fracturing technology was carried out in 6305 working face of Jisan Coal Mine to prevent rockburst.Field practices have proved that this technology is much simpler and safer to operate with better prevention effect compared with blasting.By optimizing the operation procedures and developing a new technology of automated high-pressure delivery pipe,the maximum fracturing radius now reaches more than 9 m and the borehole depth exceeds 20 m.Additionally,drilling cutting method was applied to monitor the stress of the coal mass before and after the fracturing,and the drill cuttings dropped significantly which indicates that the burst prevention effect of directional hydraulic fracturing technology is very remarkable.The research results of this paper have laid a theoretical and practical foundation for the widespread application of the directional hydraulic fracturing technology in China.Fan Jun Dou Linming He Hu Du Taotao Zhang Shibin Gui Bing Sun Xinglin 2012International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2:28
2Isolation and Identification of Cancer Stem-Like Cells from Murine Melanoma Cell Lines显示文摘In current study,cancer stem-like cells in the murine melanoma B16F10 cells were investigated.CD phenotypes of the B16F10 cells were analyzed by flow cytometry,and the specific CD phenotype cells from the B16F10 cells were isolated by MACS.Then we used colony formation assay in soft agar media,the cell growth assay in serum-free culture media as well as the tumorigenicity investigation of the specific CD phenotype cells in C57BL/6 mice, respectively,to identify cancer stem-like cells in the B16F10 cells.The results showed that the B16F10 cells could form spherical clones in serum-free culture media,and the rate of clonegenesis of CD133 + ,CD44 + and CD44 + CD133 + cells was higher than that of CD133 - ,CD44 - and CD44 + CD133 - cells in soft agar media,respectively. 3Determining "abnormal" levator hiatus distensibility using three-dimensional transperineal ultrasound in Chinese women显示文摘The dimension of the levator hiatus is a possible predictor of pelvic organ prolapse (POP). Thisretrospective study investigated 360 women who went to urogynecological clinic for pelvic floor discomfort.Levator hiatus dimensions were obtained by three-dimensional transperineal ultrasound and results werecompared between women with and without significantly objective prolapse (International Continence SocietyPOP quantification, grade 2 or higher). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses were performed todetermine valid screening index for detecting abnormal levator hiatus distensibility. Women with significantlyobjective prolapse had significantly higher levator hiatus dimensions than those without (all P 〈 0.001). ROCcurve analyses confirmed that hiatal area (HA) of 19.5 cm2 during Valsalva maneuver can be used as single-screening index for abnormal levator hiatus distensibility with sensitivity of 0.80 and specificity of 0.70. In thisstudy, we used a two-step method and achieved higher sensibility (0.80 vs. 0.87) without reducing specificity (0.70vs. 0.71) compared with a single-screening index method. 4Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Alkaloids in Cortex Phellodendri by HPLC-ESI-MS/MS and HPLC-DAD显示文摘A combined method of high performance liquid chromatograph-elecrtrospray-ionization mass spectrometer(HPLC-ESI-MS/MS) coupled with a photodiode array detector(HPLC-DAD) and principal component analysis(PCA) was applied to the qualitative and quantitative analyses of alkaloids in Cortex Phellodendri(CP) samples, and to the differentiation of two species of CP, Cortex Phellodendri Chinensis(CPC) and Cortex Phellodendri Amurensis(CPA). Twenty-two peaks appeared in the HPLC-MS base peak chromatogram of CP detected by the HPLC-ESI-MS/MS analysis, and the alkaloids were identified according to the MSn data, the known MS fragmentation rules and the literature data. Five alkaloids including berberine, palmatine, jatrorrhizine, phellodendrine and magnoflorine were simultaneously determinated by the HPLC-DAD. Berberine was the primary component in all CP samples, and the contents of berberine and palmatine were exploited to be two critical parameters for effective discrimination between the two species of CP. The average content of berberine in CPC(58.75 mg/g) was higher than that in CPA(9.16 mg/g), while the content of palmatine was less, only 0.25 mg/g in CPC and 4.19 mg/g in CPA. With the use of PCA, samples datasets were separated successfully into two different clusters corresponding to the two species, and berberine, palmatine, phellodendrine and magnoflorine contribute most to the above mentioned calssifying. 5Daclatasvir plus asunaprevir in treatment-na?ve patients with hepatitis C virus genotype 1b infection显示文摘AIM To assess daclatasvir plus asunaprevir(d UAL) in treatment-na?ve patients from China's Mainland, Russia and South Korea with hepatitis C virus(HCV) genotype 1 b infection. METHODS Patients were randomly assigned(3:1) to receive 24 wk of treatment with d UAL(daclatasvir 60 mg once daily and asunaprevir 100 mg twice daily) beginning on day 1 of the treatment period(immediate treatment arm) or following 12 wk of matching placebo(placebodeferred treatment arm). The primary endpoint was a comparison of sustained virologic response at posttreatment week 12(SVR12) compared with the historical SVR rate for peg-interferon plus ribavirin(70%) among patients in the immediate treatment arm. The first 12 wk of the study were blinded. Safety was assessed in d UAL-treated patients compared with placebo patients during the first 12 wk(doubleblind phase), and during 24 wk of d UAL in both arms combined.RESULTS In total, 207 patients were randomly assigned to immediate(n = 155) or placebo-deferred(n = 52) treatment. Most patients were Asian(86%), female(59%) and aged < 65 years(90%). Among them, 13% had cirrhosis, 32% had IL28 B non-CC genotypes and 53% had baseline HCV RNA levels of ≥ 6 million IU/m L. Among patients in the immediate treatment arm, SVR12 was achieved by 92%(95% confidence interval: 87.2-96.0), which was significantly higher than the historical comparator rate(70%). SVR12 was largely unaffected by cirrhosis(89%), age ≥ 65 years(92%), male sex(90%), baseline HCV RNA ≥ 6 million(89%) or IL28 B non-CC genotypes(96%), although SVR12 was higher among patients without(96%) than among those with(53%) baseline NS5 A resistanceassociated polymorphisms(at L31 or Y93 H). during the double-blind phase, aminotransferase elevations were more common among placebo recipients than among patients receiving d UAL. during 24 wk of d UAL therapy(combined arms), the most common adverse events(≥ 10%) were elevated alanine aminotransferase and upper respiratory tract infection; emergent grade 3-4 laboratory abnormalities were infrequently observed, and all grade 3-4 aminotransferase abnormalities(alanine aminotransferase, n = 9; aspartate transaminase, n = 6) reversed within 8-11 d. Two patients discontinued d UAL treatment; one due to aminotransferase elevations, nausea, and jaundice and the other due to a fatal adverse event unrelated to treatment. 7Soil Salinity Changes Under Cropping with Lycium barbarum L.and Irrigation with Saline-Sodic Water显示文摘In order to utilize the wasted saline-sodic soils under shallow groundwater condition,a 3-year field study was carried in a field cropped with Lycium barbarum L.and irrigated by drip irrigation with saline groundwater under the water table depth of 30-40 cm in the northern Yinchuan Plain,China.Effects of cropping duration (one,two,and three years) on soil salinity,soil solution composition,and pH in three adjacent plots were investigated in 2008.Results showed that a high irrigation frequency maintained high soil water potential and subsequently facilitated infiltration and downward movement of water and salt in the crop root zone.Salt accumulated on the edges of the ridges,and soil saturated-paste electrical conductivity (ECe) was higher in the edge.Concentrations of Na+,Ca2+,Mg2+,Cl-,and SO42- in the soil increased with the soil depth as did the ECe,while HCO3- and pH had a relative uniform distribution in soil profile.As planting year increased,the ECe and soil salts in the field had a decreasing tendency,while in the root zone they decreased immediately after irrigation and then remained relatively stable in the following growing seasons.HCO3- and pH had little change with the planting year.Results suggested that the application of drip irrigation with saline water could ameliorate saline-sodic soil and provide a relatively feasible soil environment for the growth of salt-tolerant plant Lycium barbarum L.under the saline-sodic soils with shallow groundwater.DOU Chao-Yin KANG Yao-Hu WAN Shu-Qin HU Wei 2011Pedosphere2011,21,4:11

9Adsorption behavior of carbon dioxide and methane in bituminous coal:A molecular simulation study显示文摘The adsorption behavior of CO_2, CH_4 and their mixtures in bituminous coal was investigated in this study. First, a bituminous coal model was built through molecular dynamic(MD) simulations, and it was confirmed to be reasonable by comparing the simulated results with the experimental data. Grand Canonical Monte Carlo(GCMC)simulations were then carried out to investigate the single and binary component adsorption of CO_2 and CH_4with the built bituminous coal model. For the single component adsorption, the isosteric heat of CO_2 adsorption is greater than that of CH_4 adsorption. CO_2 also exhibits stronger electrostatic interactions with the heteroatom groups in the bituminous coal model compared with CH_4, which can account for the larger adsorption capacity of CO_2 in the bituminous coal model. In the case of binary adsorption of CO_2 and CH_4mixtures, CO_2 exhibits the preferential adsorption compared with CH_4 under the studied conditions. The adsorption selectivity of CO_2 exhibited obvious change with increasing pressure. At lower pressure, the adsorption selectivity of CO_2 shows a rapid decrease with increasing the temperature, whereas it becomes insensitive to temperature at higher pressure. 10Active velocity tomography for assessing rock burst hazards in a kilometer deep mine显示文摘Active velocity tomography was used to determine the stress state and rock burst hazards in a deep coal mine. The deepest longwall face, number 3207 in the Xingcun colliery, was the location of the field trials. The positive correlation between stress and seismic velocity was used to link the velocity data with stratum stresses. A GeoPen SE2404NT data acquisition system was used to collect seismic data from 300 g explosive charges fired by instantaneous electric detonator and located in the tail entry. The geophones were installed on the rock bolts in the head entry of LW3207. Velocity inversion shows an inhomogeneous distribution of stress in the longwall face that could not be obtained from theory or numerical simulations. Three abnormally high P-wave velocity regions were identified that were located on the corners of the two roadways and at the face end near the rail entry side. The maximum velocity gradient is located at the open cut off near the rail entry and is the area most dangerous for rock burst. Mining-induced tremors recorded by a micro-seismic monitoring system demonstrated that the position of energy release during mining coincides with the high velocity gradient area. 11POLYMERIZATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF HIGH CONDUCTIVITY AND GOOD ADHENSION POLYPYRROLE FILMS FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE SHIELDING显示文摘Polypyrrole(PPy) shows a favorable application in the electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding due to its good electrical conductivity and outstanding air stability.Conducting PPy films with high conductivity and good adhesion were successfully polymerized on the surface of insulating epoxy resin substrates using chemical polymerization.The factors affecting the properties of PPy films,such as the surface morphology,adhesion between PPy film and substrate,electrical conductivity,EMI shielding effectiveness(SE),were investigated.The adhesion was improved significantly through a three-step surface pretreatment of epoxy resin substrates including removing impurities,roughening,and surface modification with silane coupling agent.An enhancement in the conductivity of PPy films of about one order of magnitude was achieved by adding dopant in FeCl_3 solution.The higher the conductivity,the better the shielding effectiveness.Taking sodium p-toluenesulfonate doped PPy film as example,EMI SE was in the practically useful range of about 30 dB over a wide frequency range from 30 MHz to 1500 MHz.The PPy film samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),infrared spectra(IR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and the flange coaxial transmission device.The fourpoint probe method was used to measure conductivity of PPy films.Yong-sheng Qiao La-zhen Shen Tao Dou Ming Hu 2010Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2010,28,6:9
12Fault-Induced Coal Burst Mechanism under Mining-Induced Static and Dynamic Stresses显示文摘Fault is a common geological structure that has been revealed in the process of underground coal excavation and mining.The nature of its discontinuous structure controls the deformation,damage,and mechanics of the coal or rock mass.The interaction between this discontinuous structure and mining activities is a key factor that dominates fault reactivation and the coal burst it can induce.This paper first summarizes investigations into the relationships between coal mining layouts and fault occurrences,along with relevant conceptual models for fault reactivation.Subsequently,it proposes mechanisms of fault reactivation and its induced coal burst based on the superposition of static and dynamic stresses,which include two kinds of fault reactivations from:mining-induced quasi-static stress(FRMSS)-dominated and seismic-based dynamic stress(FRSDS)-dominated.These two kinds of fault reactivations are then validated by the results of experimental investigations,numerical modeling,and in situ microseismic monitoring.On this basis,monitoring methods and prevention strategies for fault-induced coal burst are discussed and recommended.The results show that fault-induced coal burst is triggered by the superposition of high static stress in the fault pillar and dynamic stress from fault reactivation.High static stress comes from the interaction of the fault and the roof structure,and dynamic stress can be ascribed to FRMSS and FRSDS.The results in this paper could be of great significance in guiding the monitoring and prevention of fault-induced coal bursts.Wu Cai Linming Dou Guangyao Si Yawei Hu 2021Engineering2021,7,5:8
13F-structure model of overlying strata for dynamic disaster prevention in coal mine显示文摘The rupture and movement scope of overlying strata upon the longwall mining face increased sharply as the exploitation scale and degree growing recently,and the spatial structure formed by fractured strata became much more complex.The overlying strata above the working face and adjacent gobs would affect each other and move cooperatively because small pillar can hardly separate the connection of overlying strata between two workfaces,which leads to mining seismicity in the gob and induces rockburst disaster that named spatial structure instability rockburst in this paper.Based on the key stratum theory,the F-structure model was established to describe the overlying strata characteristic and rockburst mechanism of workface with one side of gob and the other side un-mined solid coal seam.The results show that F-structure in the gob will re-active and loss stability under the influence of neighboring mining,and fracture and shear slipping in the process of instability is the mechanism of the seismicity in the gob.The F-structure was divided into two categories that short-arm F and long-arm F structure based on the state of strata above the gob.We studied the underground pressure rules of different F-structure and instability mechanism,thus provide the guide for prevention and control of the F-structure spatial instability rockburst.The micro-seismic system is used for on-site monitoring and researching the distribution rules of seismic events,the results confrmed the existence and correct of F-spatial structure.At last specialized methods for prevention seismicity and rockburst induced by F-structure instability are proposed and applied in Huating Coal Mine.Mu Zonglong Dou Linming He Hu Fan Jun 2013International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,4:8
14Simultaneous transcatheter arterial chemoembolization and portal vein embolization for patients with large hepatocellular carcinoma before major hepatectomy显示文摘BACKGROUND Sequential transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and portal vein embolization(PVE)are associated with long time interval that can allow tumor growth and nullify treatments'benefits.AIM To evaluate the effect of simultaneous TACE and PVE for patients with large hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)prior to elective major hepatectomy.METHODS Fifty-one patients with large HCC who underwent PVE combined with or without TACE prior to hepatectomy were included in this study,with 13 patients in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group,17 patients in the sequential TACE+PVE group,and 21 patients in the PVE-only group.The outcomes of the procedures were compared and analyzed.RESULTS All patients underwent embolization.The mean interval from embolization to surgery,the kinetic growth rate of the future liver remnant(FLR),the degree of tumor size reduction,and complete tumor necrosis were significantly better in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group than in the other groups.Although the patients in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group had a higher transaminase levels after PVE and TACE,they recovered to comparable levels with the other two groups before surgery.The intraoperative course and the complication and mortality rates were similar among the three groups.The overall survival and disease-free survival were higher in the simultaneous TACE+PVE group than in the other two groups.CONCLUSION Simultaneous TACE and PVE is a safe and effective approach to increase FLR volume for patients with large HCC before major hepatectomy.Cheng-Wu Zhang Chang-Wei Dou Xin-Long Zhang Xi-Qiang Liu Dong-Shen Huang Zhi-Ming Hu Jie Liu 2020World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,30:8

16Polyaspartic acid mediates the absorption and translocation of mineral elements in tomato seedlings under combined copper and cadmium stress显示文摘Polyaspartic acid(PASP)is a nontoxic,biodegradable,environmentally friendly polymer and is widely used as a fertilizer synergist in agricultural production.In many old orchards and vegetable gardens,highly fertile soil is often accompanied by severe heavy metal contamination.The present study was designed to investigate mineral element interactions mediated by PASP under copper(Cu)+cadmium(Cd)combined stress to provide reasonable suggestions for scientific fertilization.A pot experiment was conducted in which tomato seedlings served as plant materials.A concentration of 700 mgPASP and foliar spraying application methods were selected based on previous experiments.Four treatments were applied:normal soil(control(CK)),Cu+Cd(combined stress),Cu+Cd+PASP,and normal soil+PASP.The plant biomass,root activity,and mineral elements were measured,and these data were analyzed by Data Processing System(DPS)statistical software.The results showed that,under Cu+Cd combined stress,PASP promoted stem diameter growth,root activity and chlorophyll content and ultimately increased the biomass of tomato seedlings to different degrees.Moreover,the content of both Cu and Cd and their individual accumulation in plants decreased.PASP increased the distribution of Cu and Cd in the roots under Cu+Cd combined stress,and the translocation ability from the roots to shoots was significantly restricted.With respect to essential elements,PASP promoted mainly the absorption and translocation of potassium(K),calcium(Ca),and magnesium(Mg),which greatly exerted physiological roles.However,the variation trends of Cu and Cd under normal soil conditions contrasted with those under stress conditions.With respect to essential elements other than K,Ca,and Mg,PASP mostly restrained their absorption but promoted their translocation.The regulatory mechanism of PASP differed between the combined stress conditions and normal soil conditions.Under the combined stress conditions,PASP seemed to mainly promote these advantageous factors that exert physiological regulatory functions.Under normal soil conditions,PASP mainly acted as a biological stimulant or signaling molecule for increased nutrient efficiency,which caused greater biomass productivity.HU Mei-mei DOU Qiao-hui CUI Xiu-min LOU Yan-hong ZHUGE Yu-ping 2019Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,5:8

18A phaseⅠtrial of an oral subtype-selective histone deacetylase inhibitor,chidamide,in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective: This phase Ⅰ study was to evaluate safety, maximum tolerated dose, pharmacokinetics and preliminary antitumor activity of chidamide, a novel subtype-selective histone deacetylase(HDAC) inhibitor, in combination with paclitaxel and carboplatin in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods: Ten patients received oral chidamide 20, 25, or 30 mg twice per week continuously with paclitaxel(175 mg/m^2) and carboplatin [area under the curve(AUC) 5 mg/m L/min] administered in a 3-week cycle. Patients with response and stable disease after four cycles maintained chidamide monotherapy until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. Blood samples were collected for pharmacokinetic analysis after the first single oral of chidamide and first combination treatment in cycle 1 from all patients.Results: Two dose-limiting toxicities were recorded in the 30 mg cohort, including thrombocytopenia and prolonged neutropenia in the first cycle. Grade 3/4 neutropenia in any cycle was observed in all patients, but was not associated with significant complications. Other grade 3/4 hematologic toxicities included thrombocytopenia and leucopenia. No significant changes were observed in pharmacokinetic parameters for both chidamide and paclitaxel. One patient in the 20 mg cohort had confirmed partial response(PR). Two out of 5 patients with brain metastases had intracranial complete remission after 4-cycle treatment.Conclusions: Chidamide combined with paclitaxel and carboplatin was generally tolerated without unanticipated toxicities or clinically relevant pharmacokinetic interactions. 20Xuebijing Injection(血必净注射液)Increases Early Survival Rate by Alleviating Pulmonary Vasopermeability in Rats Subjected to Severe Burns显示文摘Objective: To investigate the effects of Xuebijing Injection(血必净注射液, XBJ) on survival rate and pulmonary vasopermeability in a rat model of severe scald injury. Methods: Rats were divided into two experiments: experiment 1 was monitored for 12 h post-injury for survival analysis after severe burns; in experiment 2, rats were killed for determination of pulmonary vascular permeability and pro-inflammatory mediators. In both experiments, rats were subject to third-degree 50% total body surface area(TBSA) burns or sham injury followed by XBJ or normal saline(NS) treatment. In addition, rat pulmonary microvascular endothelium cells(PMECs) were pretreated with either XBJ or phosphate buffer saline(PBS), and then subjected to sham serum or scald serum stimulation for 2 or 6 h, followed by transwell examination for the permeability of PMECs. Meanwhile, pro-inflammatory mediators in PMECs culture supernatant were also investigated. Results: The average survival time in the scald+XBJ group was 582.1±21.2 min, which was significantly longer than that in the scald + NS group(345.8±25.4 min, P<0.01). Plasma levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α), E-selectin, interleukin-6(IL-6), vascular permeability and water content of lung tissues were significantly increased in animals after severe burns(P<0.01). However, administration of XBJ significantly decreased these levels in plasma and lung tissue. In in vitro cell experiments, XBJ markedly attenuated permeability in PMECs monolayer and reduced the levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and soluble E-selectin after stimulation with scald serum(P<0.01). Conclusions: XBJ increases early survival rate by alleviating pulmonary vasopermeability and inhibiting pro-inflammatory mediators in rats subjected to lethal scald injury.
