| 1 | Effect of drainage on CO_2, CH_4, and N_2O fluxes from aquaculture ponds during winter in a subtropical estuary of China显示文摘Aquaculture ponds are dominant features of the landscape in the coastal zone of China.Generally,aquaculture ponds are drained during the non-culture period in winter.However,the effects of such drainage on the production and flux of greenhouse gases(GHGs)from aquaculture ponds are largely unknown.In the present study,field-based research was performed to compare the GHG fluxes between one drained pond(DP,with a water depth of 0.05 m)and one undrained pond(UDP,with a water depth of 1.16 m)during one winter in the Min River estuary of southeast China.Over the entire study period,the mean CO_2flux in the DP was(0.75±0.12)mmol/(m^2·hr),which was significantly higher than that in the UDP of(-0.49±0.09)mmol/(m^2·hr)(p<0.01).This indicates that drainage drastically transforms aquaculture ponds from a net sink to a net source of CO_2in winter.Mean CH_4and N_2O emissions were significantly higher in the DP compared to those in the UDP(CH_4=(0.66±0.31)vs.(0.07±0.06)mmol/(m^2·hr)and N_2O=(19.54±2.08)vs.(0.01±0.04)μmol/(m^2·hr))(p<0.01),suggesting that drainage would also significantly enhance CH_4and N_2O emissions.Changes in environmental variables(including sediment temperature,p H,salinity,redox status,and water depth)contributed significantly to the enhanced GHG emissions following pond drainage.Furthermore,analysis of the sustained-flux global warming and cooling potentials indicated that the combined global warming potentials of the GHG fluxes were significantly higher in the DP than in the UDP(p<0.01),with values of739.18 and 26.46 mg CO_2-eq/(m^2·hr),respectively.Our findings suggested that drainage of aquaculture ponds can increase the emissions of potent GHGs from the coastal zone of China to the atmosphere during winter,further aggravating the problem of global warming. | Ping Yang Derrick Y.F Lai Jia F.Huang Chuan Tong | 2018 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,3: | 12 |
| 2 | Short-time Oxidation of Alloy 690 in High-temperature and High-pressure Steam and Water显示文摘The oxidation behavior of alloy 690 exposed to high-temperature and high-pressure steam and water at 280 ℃ for 1 h was investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).In high-temperature and high-pressure steam,the oxide film is composed of an outermost Ni-rich hydroxides layer,an intermediate layer of hydroxides and oxides enriched in Cr,an inner oxide layer.The film formed in high-temperature water is similar to that in steam,except for missing the Ni-rich hydroxides layer.Samples with different surface finishes(electropolished,mechanically polished,ground,and as-received) were prepared for comparison.A general increase of the oxide thickness with the degree of surface roughness is observed.The equivalent oxide thicknesses lie in the range of 100-200 nm for the as-received samples,150-250 nm for the samples ground to 400# and 10-20 nm for the samples ground to 1500#,mechanically polished,and electropolished. | F.Huang J.Q.Wang E.H.Han W.Ke | 2012 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2012,28,6: | 9 |
| 3 | Colletotrichum species associated with cultivated citrus in China显示文摘There have been considerable advances in the understanding of species concepts in the genus Colletotrichum.This has lead to the need to carry out fresh surveys of Colletotrichum species associated with important hosts.Colletotrichum species are associated with Citrus plants as saprobes,important pre-harvest and post-harvest pathogens,as well as endophytes.In this study,a total of 312 Colletotrichum strains were isolated from leaves,shoots and fruits of cultivated Citrus and Fortunella species with or without disease symptoms across the main citrus production areas in China.The morphology of all strains were studied and multilocus(ACT,TUB2,CAL,GAPDH,GS,ITS)phylogeny established.Strains were from four important species complexes of Colletotrichum,namely C.gloeosporioides species complex,C.boninense species complex,C.acutatum species complex and a final group including C.truncatum,which was rare on Citrus species.The species belonging to the C.gloeosporioides species complex comprised C.gloeos porioides and C.fructicola,the C.boninense complex comprised C.karstii and a new species C.citricola and the C.acutatum complex included a new species,C.citri.The ability of strains to cause anthracnose on citrus fruits was tested by inoculation and strains of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides,C.fructicola and C.truncatum were pathogenic. | F.Huang G.Q.Chen X.Hou Y.S.Fu L.Cai K.D.Hyde H.Y.Li | 2013 | Fungal Diversity2013,,4: | 7 |

| 8 | 鼻咽癌病人EB病毒EBNA-2A及EBNA-LP IgG和IgA抗体的测定显示文摘Epstein-Barr病毒核抗原(EBNA)是EB病毒潜伏感染时表达的主要抗原之一。它与EB病毒潜伏感染和转化正常细胞引起肿瘤有关。本实验用间接免疫荧光法(IIF),采用经EB病毒表达EBNA-2A及EBNA-LP的基因组转染的大鼠成纤维细胞作为靶细胞,测定了30例鼻咽癌(NPC)病人和30例正常人血清中的EBNA-2A及EBNA-LP的IgG和IgA抗体,结果表明,30例NPC病人的IgG/EBNA-2A抗体阳性率为100%,平均几何滴度(GMT)为1:38.9。而30例正常人的阳性率为70%,GMT为1:7.9。两者有显著性差异。在30例NPC病人IgG/EBNA-LP抗体的阳性率为87%,GMT为1:9.3。30例正常人的阳性率为67%,GMT为1:7.9。两者之间无明显差异。IgA/EBNA-2A和IgA/EBNA-LP抗体在NPC病人和正常人均为阴性。这可能是由于在NPC病人癌细胞中没有EBNA-2A和EBNA-LP这两种抗原的表达。这结果对进一步研究EB病毒与NPC发生的关系有一定意义。 | 韩汝晶 F.Huang E.Kieff 曾毅 | 1990 | 病毒学报1990,6,3: | 0 |
