| 2 | A harmonious unifying hybrid preferential model and its universal properties for complex dynamical networks显示文摘To describe the real world which is a harmonious unification world with both de- terminism and randomness, we propose a harmonious unifying hybrid preferential model (HUHPM) of a certain class of complex dynamical networks. HUHPM is gov- erned only by the total hybrid ratio d/r according to the practical need. As some typical examples, the concepts and methods of the HUHPM are applied to the un-weighted BA model proposed by Barabási et al., the weighted BBV model pro- posed by Barat et al. and the weighted TDE model proposed by Wang et al. to get the so-called HUHPM-BA network, HUHPM-BBV network and HUHPM-TDE network. These HUHPM networks are investigated both analytically and numerically. | 3 | Prediction of Primary Climate Variability Modes at the Beijing Climate Center显示文摘Climate variability modes, usually known as primary climate phenomena, are well recognized as the most important predictability sources in subseasonal–interannual climate prediction. This paper begins by reviewing the research and development carried out, and the recent progress made, at the Beijing Climate Center(BCC) in predicting some primary climate variability modes. These include the El Ni?o–Southern Oscillation(ENSO), Madden–Julian Oscillation(MJO), and Arctic Oscillation(AO), on global scales, as well as the sea surface temperature(SST) modes in the Indian Ocean and North Atlantic, western Pacific subtropical high(WPSH), and the East Asian winter and summer monsoons(EAWM and EASM, respectively), on regional scales. Based on its latest climate and statistical models, the BCC has established a climate phenomenon prediction system(CPPS) and completed a hindcast experiment for the period 1991–2014. The performance of the CPPS in predicting such climate variability modes is systematically evaluated. The results show that skillful predictions have been made for ENSO, MJO, the Indian Ocean basin mode, the WPSH, and partly for the EASM, whereas less skillful predictions were made for the Indian Ocean Dipole(IOD) and North Atlantic SST Tripole, and no clear skill at all for the AO, subtropical IOD, and EAWM. | 15 | Multi-objective optimal dispatch of household flexible loads based on their real-life operating characteristics and energy-related occupant behavior显示文摘A model-based optimal dispatch framework was proposed to optimize operation of residential flexible loads considering their real-life operating characteristics,energy-related occupant behavior,and the benefits of different stakeholders.A pilot test was conducted for a typical household.According to the monitored appliance-level data,operating characteristics of flexible loads were identified and the models of these flexible loads were developed using multiple linear regression and K-means clustering methods.Moreover,a data-mining approach was developed to extract the occupant energy usage behavior of various flexible loads from the monitored data.Occupant behavior of appliance usage,such as daily turn-on times,turn-on moment,duration of each operation,preference of temperature setting,and flexibility window,were determined by the developed data-mining approach.Based on the established flexible load models and the identified occupant energy usage behavior,a many-objective nonlinear optimal dispatch model was developed aiming at minimizing daily electricity costs,occupants’dissatisfaction,CO_(2) emissions,and the average ramping index of household power profiles.The model was solved with the assistance of the NSGA-III and TOPSIS methods.Results indicate that the proposed framework can effectively optimize the operation of household flexible loads.Compared with the benchmark,the daily electricity costs,CO_(2) emissions,and average ramping index of household power profiles of the optimal plan were reduced by 7.3%,6.5%,and 14.4%,respectively,under the TOU tariff,while those were decreased by 9.5%,8.8%,and 23.8%,respectively,under the dynamic price tariff.The outputs of this work can offer guidance for the day-ahead optimal scheduling of household flexible loads in practice. | Zhengyi Luo Jinqing Peng Maomao Hu Wei Liao Yi Fang | 2023 | Building Simulation2023,16,11: | 0 |
