| 1 | Distribution and genesis of the anomalously high porosity zones in the middle-shallow horizons of the northern Songliao Basin显示文摘High-quality reservoirs occur in the middle-shallow horizons of the northern Songliao Basin. The distribution and genesis of their anomalously high porosity zones were studied using measured porosities, examination of ordinary thin sections and blue epoxy resin-impregnated thin sections and by SEM. The results show that there are three anomalously high porosity zones at the depth of 450-900 m, 1,300-1,900 m, 2,050-2,350 m respectively, named zone i, zone ii and zone iii from top to bottom. Horizontally, zone i and zone ii are distributed all over the basin except in the Southeastern Uplift, while zone iii is only distributed in the Central Depression. Zone i was formed by meteoric water leaching as well as organic acid dissolution. Zones ii and iii were dominantly formed by organic acid dissolution. | 3 | Human embryonic stem cell lines derived from the Chinese population显示文摘Six human embryonic stem cell lines were established from surplus blastocysts. The cell lines expressed alkaline phosphatase and molecules typical of primate embryonic stem cells, including Oct-4, Nanog, TDGF1, Sox2, EBAF, Thy-1, FGF4, Rex-1, SSEA-3, SSEA-4, TRA-1-60 and TRA-1-81. Five of the six lines formed embryoid bodies that expressed markers of a variety of cell types; four of them formed teratomas with tissue types representative of all three embryonic germ layers. These human embryonic stem cells are capable of producing clones of undifferentiated morphology, and one of them was propagated to become a subline. | 4 | Segregation behavior and its regulating process in as-cast magnesium alloy containing heavy rare earth显示文摘Specific gravity segregation that occurs during the smelting process always leads to the low composition homogeneity and poor performance stability of the magnesium-rare earth(Mg-RE)alloys.In this study,the segregation behavior of Mg-Gd alloy was investigated by sampling from different locations in the ingot fabricated in a resistance furnace without a pouring process.The combined application of induction-heating and mechanical stirring with various speeds(0-130 r/min)was applied to promote the distribution homogeneity of Gd atoms.In the resistance-heating fabricated ingot,Gd content at the bottom section reaches 407%of that at the top.The coarse dendrites surrounded by the network-like eutectic structures are responsible for the brittle fracture with a poor elongation of 3.7%.By the combined employment of the induction heating and mechanical stirring with the speed of 87 r/min at 740℃for 40 s,the variation of the Gd content within the whole ingot can be reduced to be the minimum of 0.23 wt%.Corresponding formation and regulating models of segregation were also proposed.However,the cooling rate of the melt is reduced by the continuous increase of the stirring speed to 130 r/min,which results in the grain coarsening and lower homogeneity of the ingot. | Xin Tong Guoqiang You Fanjin Yao Mahmoud Ebrahimi Xinyue Deng Shokouh Attarilar | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,8: | 3 |
| 5 | Reaction-tunable diffusion bonding to multilayered Cu mesh/ZK61 Mg foil composites with thermal conductivity and lightweight synergy显示文摘The thermal properties of Mg alloys require further optimization to encounter the increasingly severe heat dissipation demands of high-power densities and highly integrated electronic components.In this study,a novel strategy of reaction-tunable diffusion bonding(RDB)was applied to manipulate the inter-facial reaction in the multilayered Cu mesh/ZK61 Mg foil composites.The displacement of the punch was utilized to quantify the degree of reactive diffusion with adjustable,visible,and high flexibility.The inter-face was artificially manipulated to produce the fluid Mg-Zn eutectic liquid phase filling the interfacial gap at high temperature for a short time,followed by diffusion bonding at low temperature.The thermal conductivity of the composites first increased and then decreased,which was synthetically affected by the amelioration of metallurgical bonding and the moderately reactive consumption of Cu.The reinforcement Cu was converted from the Hasselman-Johnson model to the Rayleigh model,reflecting the optimization of the interfacial bonding quality.The composites with thermal conductivity and lightweight synergy were fabricated successfully.Therefore,RDB is a progressive technique,shedding lights on the innovative lightweight metal matrix composites with high thermal conductivities relevant to the 5G communications and new energy vehicle industries. | Fanjin Yao Guoqiang You Sheng Zeng Dashi Lu Yue Ming | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,8: | 1 |
| 6 | Imbalance between nitrogen and potassium fertilization influences potassium deficiency symptoms in winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) leaves显示文摘Chlorosis at leaf margins is a typical symptom of potassium(K) deficiency, but inappropriate application of K with other nutrients often masks symptoms of K deficiency. A two-year field experiment was conducted to measure the interactive effects of N and K on leaf photosynthesis and dry matter accumulation and the resulting growth dilution effect on K concentration and leaf K deficiency symptoms. N application aggravated the imbalance of N and K nutrients and further exacerbated K deficiency symptoms under K limitation. Synergistic effects of N and K promoted plant growth, amplified the growth dilution effect, and reduced the critical K concentration in leaves. Using 90% of the maximum shoot biomass as a threshold,the critical K concentration was 0.72% at the recommended N(N180) fertilization level. The critical K concentration increased by 62.5% owing to the reduced biomass under insufficient N(N;) supply. In contrast, high N(N;) reduced the critical K concentration(0.64%), accelerating chlorophyll decomposition and exacerbating K deficiency symptoms. The basis of changing the critical K concentration by magnifying growth dilution effect was the functional synergistic effect of N and K on photosynthetic characteristics. Under insufficient N, the low maximum carboxylation rate(V;) limited the net photosynthetic rate(An) and necessitated more K to maintain high CO;transmission capacity, to improve the total conductance g;/V;ratio. High N supply increased gtotand V;possibly mitigating the effect of K reduction on photosynthesis. | 7 | Redox-etching induced porous carbon cloth with pseudocapacitive oxygenic groups for flexible symmetric supercapacitor显示文摘Constructing high-performance electrodes with both wide potential window(e.g.≥2 V in aqueous electrolyte)and excellent mechanical flexibility represents a great challenge for supercapacitors.Because of the outstanding conductivity and flexibility,carb on cloth(CC)has show n unlimited prospects for constructing flexible electrodes,but is rarely used directly as electrode material due to its electrochemical inertness and small specific surface area.To tackle these two critical limitations,we design a novel redox-etching strategy to synthesize CC-based electrode with 3D interconnecting pore structure.The sponge-like highly porous CC was further activated by strong oxidant to form abundant oxygenic groups,which occupy the interior and surface of current collector to render substantial pseudocapacitance.The as-synthesized CC electrode yielded an impressive capacitance of 4035 mF cm^(-2) at 3 mA cm^(-2) and satisfying cycling durability in a wide potential range of-1-1 V vs.SCE,which surpass the majority of reported CC-based electrodes.A symmetric supercapacitor with stable voltage of 2 V is assembled and delivers remarkable energy density of 6.57 mWh cm^(-3).Significantly,the device demonstrates an unparalleled flexibility with no capacitive decay after 100 bending cycles.This facile chemical etching and post-treatment processes are designed for large-scale manufacturing of the CC electrodes by providing high surface area and abundant electrochemically active sites,promising for industry application.The innovative synthetic strategy ope ns up new opportunities for high-performance flexible en ergy storage. | Xu Han Zi-Hang Huang Fanjin Meng Baohua Jia Tianyi Ma | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,1: | 1 |

| 9 | The relief of hypoxic microenvironment using an O_(2) self-sufficient fluorinated nanoplatform for enhanced photodynamic eradication of bacterial biofilms显示文摘Hypoxia,an important characteristic of bacterial biofilms,can hinder the generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in photodynamic therapy(PDT),leading to reduced therapeutic efficacy of PDT.In order to address this issue,fluorinated liposome was fabricated as an oxygen-sufficient nanoplatform for enhanced photodynamic eradication of bacterial biofilms.The liposomes(denoted as Lip-Ce6-PFH@O_(2))were prepared by co-encapsulation of O_(2) carrier perfluorohexane(PFH)and photosensitizer chlorin e6(Ce_(6)).Lip-Ce6-PFH@O_(2) could achieve efficient biofilm penetration due to the positively charged surface.The hypoxic microenvironment of biofilms would then be relieved,leading to the generation of more ROS under laser irradiation.Therefore,the bactericidal capability of PDT could be significantly improved because of the co-delivered O_(2) carrier PFH.Lip-Ce6-PFH@O_(2) exhibited much better antibiofilm ability than that of Lip-Ce6 both in vitro and in vivo.Meanwhile,Lip-Ce6-PFH@O_(2) also effectively alleviated inflammation symptoms and accelerated wound healing in the mice model.In general,this study provides a new paradigm to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of PDT for efficient biofilm eradication. | Lingyun Zou Dengfeng Hu Fanjin Wang Qiao Jin Jian Ji | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 0 |
| 10 | A Case Control Study on Risk Factors for Stomach Cancer in Urban Shanghai显示文摘OBJECTIVE To examine the possible risk factors for stomach cancer among men and women in Shanghai, China. METHODS In urban Shanghai, in-person interviews were completed for 311 cases newly diagnosed with stomach cancer of ages 30-74. Data were collected from April 1999 to October 1999 and compared to 1579 population-based controls (controls in three cancer studies used together). Information on demographic variables, smoking, diet consumption and others was collected from all subjects. Unconditional logistic regression was used to adjust the possible factors. RESULTS Stomach cancer risk in men rose with smoking, eating hot and fried foods, chronic gastritis and a family history of gastric cancer among men; the risk among women was associated with the consumption of preserved,pickled and fried foods,heavy drinking, chronic gastritis, a history of ulcer disease and a family history of gastric cancer. A doseresponse relationship was found (trends test, P<0.01) among men smokers. In contrast, the consumption of fresh vegetables and fruits, beans (especially soybeans) and soy products, plant oil, and eggs and egg products, was inversely associated with stomach cancer risk. After adjustment of the potential confounding variables, these associations remained significant. CONCLUSIONS The present findings provide further evidence that smoking, eating salted foods (especially salted vegetables), oil-fried foods(including fried cereal, eggs, and peanuts), chronic gastritis, a family history of gastric cancer and so on increase the risk of stomach carcinoma in Shanghai.
