1A NOVEL CAPACITY ANALYZING METHOD FOR MULTIMEDIA CDMA SYSTEMS BASED ON POWER LEVEL ALLOCATION显示文摘A novel method is proposed to analyze the capacity of future Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems carrying multimedia services. The power level allocation is firstly investigated to meet each call’s Bit Error Rate (BER) requirement, then the system capacity is defined from the conditions for the exis-tence of the physical meaning of these power levels. 2Performance of iteratively decoded bit-interleaved coded modulation with chaos based interleaving strategies显示文摘Bit-interleaved coded modulation with iterative decoding (BICM-ID) is a bandwidth efficient trans- mission scheme which is well suitable for next-generation mobile communications. The interleaver design is critical to the high performance of BICM-ID. In this paper we investigate the application of the chaos theory to the interleaver design to further improve the performance of BICM-ID. A new interleaving scheme based on the chaos theory is proposed. Compared with the random interleaver, the proposed approach has the ad- vantages including lower system delay and higher transmission efficiency. Simulation results in both additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and Rayleigh fading channel are provided, which demonstrates that the new interleaver is better than the random interleaver and exhibits excellent performance when applied to the BICM-ID system.ZOU XueLan LIU WeiYan FENG GuangZeng 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,4:1

7A pre-processing blind multiuser detection algorithm based on LSCM using antenna array显示文摘A pre-processing blind multiuser detection al go rithms based on the least squares constant modulus (P-LSCMA) using antenna arra y is proposed in this paper. It first uses the signals received from every anten na to correlate with the conjugation of the DoA vector of the expected user, and then applies the pre-processed signals to the LSCMA. We simulate and compare t he proposed algorithm with the conventional LSCMA. 17PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF CHANNEL ESTIMATION FOR LDPC-CODED OFDM SYSTEM IN MULTIPATH FADING CHANNEL显示文摘In this paper, the channel estimation techniques for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems based on pilot arrangement are studied and we apply Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes to the system of IEEE 802.16a with OFDM modulation. First investigated is the influence of channel es-timation schemes on LDPC-code based OFDM system in static and multipath fading channels. According to the different propagation environments in 802.16a system, a dynamic channel estimation scheme is proposed. A good irregular LDPC code is designed with code rate of 1/2 and code length of 1200. 18SDCMA BLIND DETECTION IN FREQUENCY DOMAIN FOR MC DS-CDMA SYSTEMS显示文摘This paper proposes Steepest Decreasing Constant Modulus Algorithm (SDCMA) detection in fre-quency domain for MultiCarrier Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Access (MC DS-CDMA) systems. The proposed algorithm is used to equalize independent fadings of all subcarriers. At the same time we com-pare the SDCMA blind detection with subspace-based Minimum Mean-Squared Error (MMSE) detection. 19NOVEL LSCM BEAM-FORMING ALGORITHM IN SMART ANTENNA MC-CDMA SYSTEM显示文摘A novel Least Squares Constant Modulus (LSCM) beam-forming algorithm in smart antenna Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system is proposed in this paper. It adaptively beam-forms the multi-carrier antenna array signal using the LSCM Algorithm (LSCMA), and in the meantime, the beam-formed signals on every sub-carrier are combined by using Orthogonal Restore Combination (ORC), Equal Gain Combination (EGC) or Maximum Ratio Combination (MRC). Then the decision of the combined signals and the spread-code of the expected user are used to re-construct the signals on every sub-carrier. At last, the difference between the re-constructed signal and the output signal of the beam-former is used to con-trol the coefficients of the beam-former. The bit error probability of the proposed algorithm is analyzed. We simulated and compared it with the conventional LSCM beam-forming algorithm. 20A NEW LABELING SEARCH ALGORITHM FOR BIT-INTERLEAVED CODED MODULATION WITH ITERATIVE DECODING显示文摘Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation with Iterative Decoding (BICM-ID) is a bandwidth ef- ficient transmission, where the bit error rate is reduced through the iterative information exchange between the inner demapper and the outer decoder. The choice of the symbol mapping is the crucial design parameter. This paper indicates that the Harmonic Mean of the Minimum Squared Euclidean (HMMSE) distance is the best criterion for the mapping design. Based on the design criterion of the HMMSE distance, a new search algorithm to find the optimized labeling maps for BICM-ID system is proposed. Numerical results and performance comparison show that the new labeling search method has a low complexity and outperforms other labeling schemes using other design criterion in BICM-ID system, therefore it is an optimized labeling method.Zou Xuelan Feng Guangzeng 2008Journal of Electronics(China)2008,25,1:0
