| 4 | The study on psychological resilience of tinnitus and associated influencing factors显示文摘The association between tinnitus and psychological resilience is an underdeveloped area of research. This cross-sectional study investigated such associations and factors potentially affecting resilience in 61 patients.Demographic and psychometric data were collected by questionnaires. The ConnoreDavidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ),Satisfaction with Life Scale(SWLS),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES),Big Five Inventory(BFI)and Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS)were completed by participants.Data were analyzed using independent t-test and Pearson's correlation analysis and multiple linear regression modeling. The CD-RISC score was relatively low(66.97±15.71),negatively correlated with tinnitus(r=0.276,p<0.001)and associated with age(r=0.270,P<0.001).As protective factors,SWLS(r=0.486,p<0.001),GSES(r=0.555,p<0.001),PSSS(r=0.538,p<0.001)and extraversion were positively correlated with CD-RISC and BFI scores(r=0.287,p<0.001).We also detected a negative correlation with neuroticism(r=0.395,p<0.001),which is a known risk factor for worse CD-RISC scores.Identifying protective and risk factors for psychological resilience can be used to predict treatment outcomes in tinnitus patients, which will help devise personalized solutions and improve patients'quality of life. | Feng Xin Qingfeng Li Fangling Guan Minli Suo Jie Yang Dan Li Changqing Zhao | 2022 | Journal of Otology2022,17,1: | 1 |
| 5 | Ribosome biogenesis gene DEF/UTP25 is essential for liver homeostasis and regeneration显示文摘Hepatocytes are responsible for diverse metabolic activities in a liver. Proper ribosome biogenesis is essential to sustain the function of hepatocytes. There are approximately 200 factors involved in ribosome biogenesis;however, few studies have focused on the role of these factors in maintaining liver homeostasis. The digestive organ expansion factor(def) gene encodes a nucleolar protein Def that participates in ribosome biogenesis. In addition, Def forms a complex with cysteine protease Calpain3(Capn3) and recruits Capn3 to the nucleolus to cleave protein targets. However, the function of Def has not been characterized in the mammalian digestive organs. In this report, we show that conditional knockout of the mouse def gene in hepatocytes causes cell morphology abnormality and constant infiltration of inflammatory cells in the liver. As age increases, the def conditional knockout liver displays multiple tissue damage foci and biliary hyperplasia. Moreover, partial hepatectomy leads to sudden acute death to the def conditional knockout mice and this phenotype is rescued by intragastric injection of the anti-inflammation drug dexamethasone one day before hepatectomy. Our results demonstrate that Def is essential for maintaining the liver homeostasis and liver regeneration capacity in mammals. | Weidong Huang Feng Chen Quanxin Ma Jiaojiao Xin Jiaqi Li Jun Chen Bin Zhou Minli Chen Jun Li Jinrong Peng | 2020 | Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,11: | 1 |
| 6 | Pathological Mechanism of “Phlegm, Blood stasis, Toxin ”in a Rabbit Model of Carotid Atherosclerosis Based on Gut Microbiota-host Metabolism Interactions显示文摘Background:In Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)theory,'phlegm, blood stasis and toxin'are the pathogenesis of carotid atherosclerosis(CAS).The rabbit carotid atherosclerosis(CAS),which is induced by high-cholesterol diet combined with carotid artery balloon injury,is a classic model for studying CAS.Many studies indicate that gut microbiota and host metabolic disorders are involved in the pathogenesis of rabbit CAS.However, the TCM pathological features and syndromes of this classic rabbit CAS model have not been reported. Objective:To explore the pathogenesis of the rabbit CAS model and its TCM syndrome types from the perspective of'phlegm, blood stasis, and toxin'.Methods:Twelve male New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into NC group and CAS group according to their body weight, followed by feeding of basic feed and a 1%high cholesterol diet, respectively. After two weeks, the rabbits in the CAS group underwent common carotid artery(CCA)balloon injury, while the rabbits in the NC group underwent only CCA separation without balloon injury. The two groups received differential feed postoperatively for six more weeks, after which, changes in lipids, hemorheology, inflammation, oxidative stress, and CAS phenotypes were analyzed. In addition, the colon contents and serum were collected for 16S rRNA sequencing and ^(1)H-NMR metabonomic analysis. Results:The CAS rabbits were observed to form noticeable abnormalities in lipid metabolism and blood rhe-ology,a sharp increase in oxidative stress levels, excessive release of inflammatory factors and apparent CAS plaque formation.Furthermore,10 specific gut microbiota(such as Akkermansia muciniphila,Barnesiellaceae and Faecalibacterium)and 14 characteristic metabolites(such as trimethylamine oxide, acetic acid and L-carnitine)were identified in the CAS rabbits, which were significantly related to the CAS phenotypes. The pathway func-tion analysis showed that the gut microbiota and its metabolites mainly affected cholesterol metabolism, energy metabolism, inflammation and oxidative stress. Conclusion:The rabbit CAS model conforms to the“phlegm, blood stasis and toxin damage”theory. The gut microbiota and host metabolic disorders of the CAS rabbits interact and promote internal and external toxins, aggravating the progression of CAS.Our study provided experimental evidence for the application of this model in the TCM-based research of CAS. | Feng Zhang Yanyun Xu Liye Shen Junjie Huang Songtao Xu Minli Chen Yongming Pan | 2023 | Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2023,3,2: | 0 |
| 7 | An Evaluation of Chinese Human-Computer Dialogue Technology显示文摘There is a growing interest in developing human-computer dialogue systems which is an important branch in the field of artificial intelligence(AI).However, the evaluation of large-scale Chinese human-computer dialogues is still a challenging task.To attract more attention to dialogue evaluation work,we held the fourth Evaluation of Chinese Human-Computer Dialogue Technology(ECDT).It consists of few-shot learning in spoken language understanding(SLU)(Task 1)and knowledge-driven multi-turn dialogue competition(Task 2),the data sets of which are provided by Harbin Institute of Technology and Tsinghua University. In this paper,we will introduce the evaluation tasks and data sets in detail.Meanwhile,we will also analyze the evaluation results and the existing problems in the evaluation. | Zixian Feng Caihai Zhu Weinan Zhang Zhigang Chen Wanxiang Che Minlie Huang Linlin Li | 2021 | Data Intelligence2021,3,2: | 0 |
