2A Dimension-Splitting Variational Multiscale Element-Free Galerkin Method for Three-Dimensional Singularly Perturbed Convection-Diffusion Problems显示文摘By introducing the dimensional splitting(DS)method into the multiscale interpolating element-free Galerkin(VMIEFG)method,a dimension-splitting multiscale interpolating element-free Galerkin(DS-VMIEFG)method is proposed for three-dimensional(3D)singular perturbed convection-diffusion(SPCD)problems.In the DSVMIEFG method,the 3D problem is decomposed into a series of 2D problems by the DS method,and the discrete equations on the 2D splitting surface are obtained by the VMIEFG method.The improved interpolation-type moving least squares(IIMLS)method is used to construct shape functions in the weak form and to combine 2D discrete equations into a global system of discrete equations for the three-dimensional SPCD problems.The solved numerical example verifies the effectiveness of the method in this paper for the 3D SPCD problems.The numerical solution will gradually converge to the analytical solution with the increase in the number of nodes.For extremely small singular diffusion coefficients,the numerical solution will avoid numerical oscillation and has high computational stability.Jufeng Wang Yong Wu Ying Xu Fengxin Sun 2023Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,4:1
3Rapid divergent coevolution of Sinopotamon freshwater crab genitalia facilitates a burst of species diversification显示文摘One of the most striking radiations in brachyuran evolution is the considerable morphological diversification of the external reproductive structures of primary freshwater crabs:the male first gonopod(G1)and the female vulva(FV).However,the lack of quantitative studies,especially the lack of data on female genitalia,has seri­ously limited our understanding of genital evolution in these lineages.Here we examined 69 species of the large Chinese potamid freshwater crab genus Sinopotamon Bott,1967(more than 80%of the described species).We used a landmark-based geometric morphometric approach to analyze variation in the shape of the G1 and FV,and to compare the relative degree of variability of the genitalia with non-reproductive structures(the third maxillipeds).We found rapid divergent evolution of the genitalia among species of Sinopotamon when com­pared to non-reproductive traits.In addition,the reconstruction of ancestral groundplans,together with plot­ting analyses,indicated that the FV show the most rapid divergence,and that changes in FV traits correlate with changes in G1 traits.Here we provide new evidence for coevolution between the male and female external gen­italia of Sinopotamon that has likely contributed to rapid divergent evolution and an associated burst of specia­tion in this lineage.Fengxin YAO Boyang SHI Xiaoqi WANG Da PAN Ming BAI Jie YAN Neil CUMBERLIDGE Hongying SUN 2020Integrative Zoology2020,15,3:0
4Bioinspired Stable Single‑Layer Janus Fabric with Directional Water/Moisture Transport Property for Integrated Personal Cooling Management显示文摘Extensive progress has been achieved regarding Janus fabric for directional water transport due to its excellent and feasible personal cooling management ability,which has great significance for energy conservation,pollution reduction,and human health.However,existing Janus asymmetric multilayer fabrics for directional water transport are still limited by their com-plicated syntheses and poor stabilities.Inspired by the compositionally graded architecture of leaf cuticles,we propose a single-layer Janus personal cooling management fabric(JPCMF)via a one-step electrospinning method.The JPCMF shows not only great directional bulk water transport ability but also asymmetry moisture(water vapor)transport ability with a high asymmetry factor(1.49),water vapor transmission value(18.5 kg^(-1) m-2 D-1),and water evaporation rate(0.735 g h^(-1)).Importantly,the JPCMF exhibits outstanding durability and stability thanks to a novel electrostatic adsorption-assisted self-adhesion strategy for resisting abrasion,peeling and pulling.With these characteristics,the JPCMF can achieve a 4.0°C personal cooling management effect,better than taht of cotton fabric,on wet skin.The good biocompatibility and nontoxic-ity also endow the JPCMF with the potential to be a self-pumping dressing.Our strategy should facilitate a new method for developing next-generation intelligent multifunctional fabrics.Yifan Si Shuo Shi Zhichao Dong Hanbai Wu Fengxin Sun Jieqiong Yang Jinlian Hu 2023Advanced Fiber Materials2023,5,1:0
5Advances in self-powered sports monitoring sensors based on triboelectric nanogenerators显示文摘The new era of the internet of things brings great opportunities to the field of intelligent sports.The collection and analysis of sports data are becoming more intelligent driven by the widely-distributed sensing network system.Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)can collect and convert energy as selfpowered sensors,overcoming the limitations of external power supply,frequent power replacement and high-cost maintenance.Herein,we introduce the working modes and principles of TENGs,and then summarize the recent advances in self-powered sports monitoring sensors driven by TENGs in sports equipment facilities,wearable equipment and competitive sports specialities.We discuss the existing issues,i.e.,device stability,material sustainability,device design rationality,textile TENG cleanability,sports sensors safety,kinds and manufacturing of sports sensors,and data collection comprehensiveness,and finally,propose the countermeasures.This work has practical significance to the current TENG applications in sports monitoring,and TENG-based sensing technology will have a broad prospect in the field of intelligent sports in the future.Fengxin Sun Yongsheng Zhu Changjun Jia Tianming Zhao Liang Chu Yupeng Mao 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,4:0
6The bright star survey telescope for the planetary transit survey in Antarctica显示文摘Transiting extrasolar planets(exoplanets),especially those orbiting bright stars, are desired for study of the diversity of planetary compositions, internal structures and atmospheres beyond our solar system. Dome A at Antarctica is a promising site for planetary transit surveys,where the continuous darkness and the large clear-sky fraction in the winter months greatly enhance the detection efficiency. The Chinese Small Telescope ARray and the Antarctic Survey Telescopes are the first facilities that have been operated at Dome A for use in exoplanet surveys. To increase the sky coverage, a low-temperature-resistant wide-field robotic telescope, named the bright star survey telescope(BSST), has been developed to join the ongoing planetary transit survey in Antarctica. The BSST has an aperture size of 300 mm and is equipped with a largeframe 4K×4K CCD camera to receive starlight from a 3.°4×3.°4 field of view. The BSST was operated at Lijiang observatory in April and May 2015 for a test run.Photometric precision of 3.5 mmag was achieved for stars with V~11 mag using 75 s exposures.
