2Effects of deformation twins on microstructure evolution,mechanical properties and corrosion behaviors in magnesium alloys-A review显示文摘Due to lattice reorientation,grain segmentation,induced recrystallization,twins play a very important role in regulating texture,refining grains,improving mechanical properties and corrosion resistance,and has received more extensive attention.Numerous studies have shown that{10-12}<10-11>tensile twins(TTWs)are easily activated in large quantities due to the lower critical resolve shear stresses(CRSS).Introduction of TTWs under uniaxial compression improved the strength,ductility,and formability of magnesium(Mg)alloys.Moreover,TTWs produced by multi-directional impact forging(MDIF)can optimize the microstructure by dividing grains and promoting recrystallization,resulting in significant improvement of mechanical properties.Although{10-11}<10-12>compressive twins(CTWs)and{10-11}-{10-12}double twins(DTWs)can promote dynamic recrystallization(DRX),they are also favorable nucleation sites for cracks.In addition,the type and volume fraction of twins can affect the corrosion resistance,and they also play different roles in the corrosion process of different Mg alloys.Twins have shown great potential for improving structure and properties,but a comprehensive and critical discussion of twins in Mg alloys is still lacking.Therefore,based on previous studies,this article reviews the common types and variants of twins in Mg alloys,influencing factors,and their effects on the microstructure,mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.In addition,some interesting ideas are being proposed for further research.Lianhui Li Wenhong Liu Fugang Qi Di Wu Zhiqiang Zhang 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,9:5
3Automatic Modulation Recognition Based on CNN and GRU显示文摘Based on a comparative analysis of the Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)and Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)networks,we optimize the structure of the GRU network and propose a new modulation recognition method based on feature extraction and a deep learning algorithm.High-order cumulant,Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR),instantaneous feature,and the cyclic spectrum of signals are extracted firstly,and then input into the Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)and the parallel network of GRU for recognition.Eight modulation modes of communication signals are recognized automatically.Simulation results show that the proposed method can achieve high recognition rate at low SNR.Fugang Liu Ziwei Zhang Ruolin Zhou 2022Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,2:5

5Quantitative Appraisement on Ecological Carrying Capacity in Coastal Rapid Developing Region of Hainan Province显示文摘The ecological carrying capacity,an important indica- tor to evaluate the sustainable development of the ecosystem, means the potential ability of the natural ecosystem to carry so- cioeconomic development while the ecosystem is healthy.It is limited by the carrying capacity of natural resources and environ- ment and the elasticity of the ecosystem.It will be greatly signifi- cant to study the ecological carrying capacity of Hainan Province, the first ecological province admitted by the State Environmental Protection Administration in China.Not only is the natural eco- system reflected,but also the effects of human activities are em- phasized by integrating the ecosystem health analysis into the ecological carrying capacity research.The research results,using the Factor Analysis tools of software SPSS,indicate that the eco- logical carrying capacity of Hainan Province fluctuated obviously from 1996 to 2005.The level of the ecological carrying capacity of Hainan Province was relatively high in 1996,and reached into trough from 1997 to 1999.It has steadily ascended to be above the middle level since the 21st century.The results also show that policy factors,especially the implementation of the 'Ecological Province' strategy,were important driving forces to influence the ecological carrying capacity.With the population rapidly increas- ing,the land and water resources per capita have decreased quickly.The amount of the ecological carrying capacity was pro- moted remarkably by socioeconomic development especially economic growth and technology applications.All of these will provide useful suggestions to establish and enact regional devel- opment policies,especially for protecting and reconstructing the ecology and environment of Hainan Province.Zhang Fugang Liu Yansui 2008Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2008,6,2:3
6Spatio-temporal Dynamic Patterns of Rural Area Development in Eastern Coastal China显示文摘The aim of this study is to evaluate the current state of rural area development at the county level in the eastern coastal China. An evaluation index system including 18 factors was developed, and a rural development index (RDI) was constructed to evaluate rural development state in 2000, 2004, and 2008. The quantitative evaluation indicated the following results. 1) This study derived four dominating components by means of principal component analysis, which can explain 78.2% of the total information, namely agricultural production input, the basic condition of agriculture, the comparative effectiveness of grain production, and the household′s own basic conditions. 2) Since the turn of the new millennium, the rural area in the eastern coastal China has experienced a rapid development in general. Well developed, developed, moderately developed and undeveloped rural areas respectively occupied 29.32%, 22.33%, 21.91%, and 10.51% in 2008. 3) The countryside had maintained a sound momentum of developing trend between 2000 and 2008, while the rural development in the eastern coastal China lacked sustainability. And 4) industrialization, urbanization, original economic basis, and location are four major driving forces of the disparity of rural area development in the eastern coastal China. 7Calculation of Temperature Field During Laser Transformation Hardening of Cylindrical Bodies显示文摘A Two-dimensional transient heat transfer model for laser transformation hardening process of cylindrical bodies has been developed. The surface heat loss of the sample, the latent heat of phase transformation, and the temperature dependence of thermal properties of material were considered. The laser heat source was considered as a moving Gaussian heat flux with a constant velocity. Finite element method was used to calculate the transient temperature field. A program to calculate the temperature field was developed using FORTRAN language. The transient temperature field, the width and depth of laser transformation hardening zone of 42CrMo steel sample during laser transformation hardening process was calculated. The widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones of 42CrMo steel samples were also measured experimentally. 8Investigation on microstructures and mechanical properties of Mg-6Zn-0.5Ce-xMn(x=0 and 1)wrought magnesium alloys显示文摘The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of Mg–6Zn–0.5Ce–xMn(x=0 and 1 wt.%)wrought magnesium alloys were researched,and the morphologies and role of Mn element in the experimental alloys were analyzed.The research shows that all of Mn elements form theα-Mn pure phases,which do not participate in the formation of other phases,such as theτ-phases.The mechanical properties of Mn-containing alloys in as-extruded and aged states are superior to Mn-free alloys.During the hot extrusion process,the dispersed fineα-Mn particle phase hinders the migration of grain boundaries and inhibits dynamic recrystallization,which mainly takes effect of grain refining and dispersion hardening.During the aging treatments,the dispersed fineα-Mn particle phase not only hinders the growth of the solution-treated grains,but also becomes the nucleation cores ofβ1 rod-like precipitate phase,which is conducive to increasing the nucleation rate of the precipitate phase.For the aged alloy,the Mn addition mainly takes effect of grain refining and promoting aging strengthening.Caihong Hou Hongshuai Cao Fugang Qi Qing Wang Lianhui Li Nie Zhao Dingfei Zhang Xiaoping Ouyang 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,4:3
9Visible characteristics of space-based targets based on bidirectional reflection distribution function显示文摘A precise modeling method of visible characteristics of the space-based target was presented based on bidirectional reflection distribution function (BRDF). The background characteristics of the space-based target were represented to build models of direct solar radiation and reflected radiation of the Earth based on blackbody radiation theory. The geometry characteristics of the target were analyzed to establish a surface equation of each surface based on its body coordinate system. The material characteristics of the target surface were described by introducing a BRDF model which considers the character of surface Gauss statistics and self-shadow and is obtained by measurement and modeling in advance. The relative positions of the space-based target, the background radiation sources and the observation platform were determined based on coordinate con- version to judge contributing surface of the target to observation system. Then a mathematical model on visible characteristics of the space target for the given optical system was built by summing reflection components of all the surfaces. Simulation of visible characteristics of the space-based target in orbit was achieved according to its given geometrical dimensions, physical parameters and orbital parameters. 12Context-aware local abnormality detection in crowded scene显示文摘In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm by jointly modeling motion and context information targeting at detecting abnormal events in crowded scenes. In our algorithm, context pattern information,extracted through volume local binary patterns computation on three orthogonal planes(LBP-TOP) between local target areas with surrounding areas, is explicitly taken into consideration for localizing abnormality. To capture motion information, a novel feature descriptor named Multi-scale Histogram of Frequency Coefficient is explored by taking Fourier Transform on the extracted dense trajectories. 13Amplification effects of magnetic field on hydroxylamine-promoted ZVI/H_(2)O_(2) near-neutral Fenton like system显示文摘This study has demonstrated an interesting amplification effect of magnetic field (MF) on the hydroxylamine (HA)-promoted zero valent iron (ZVI)/H_(2)O_(2) Fenton-like system. Sulfamethoxazole (SMX) could be efficiently degraded at near neutral pH. Conditional parameters affecting the SMX degradation in the ZVI/H_(2)O_(2)/HA/MF system, e.g., pH and the dosages of ZVI, HA and H_(2)O_(2), were investigated. Unlike the acid-favorable ZVI/H_(2)O_(2) and ZVI/H_(2)O_(2)/HA systems, the MF-assisted system exhibited good performances even at pH up to 6.0 and highest degradation rate at pH of 5.0. ^(·)OH was still identified as the responsible oxidant. A mechanism involving the MF-enhanced heterogeneous-homogeneous iron cycle was proposed in the near-neutral ZVI/H_(2)O_(2)/HA system. Without MF, HA-induced reductive dissolution of the surface iron oxides occurred and thus leaded to homogeneous Fenton reactions. After the introduction of MF, the gradient magnetic field formed on the ZVI particles would induce the generation of concentration cells of Fe(II) and local corrosion of iron. Large amounts of aqueous and bounded Fe(II) catalyzed H_(2)O_(2) to efficiently produce ^(·)OH, while HA maintained the surface and bulk cycles of Fe(II)/Fe(III). 14Ultrafast O_(2) activation by copper oxide for 2,4-dichlorophenol degradation:The size-dependent surface reactivity显示文摘This study demonstrated interesting ultrafast activation of molecular O_(2) by copper oxide(CuO)particles and very rapid elimination of aqueous 2,4-dichlo rophenol(2,4-DCP)within reaction time of 30 s.Electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)characterization indicated that·OH,Cu^(3+),^1 O_(2) and O_(2)^·-were generated in the CuO/O_(2) systems,wherein O_(2)^·-would be the main reactive species responsible for 2,4-DCP degradation.It was further found that the catalytic ability of CuO for O_(2) activation was highly size dependent and nano-CuO was far reactive than micro-CuO.H2 temperature-programmed reduction(H2-TPR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)analyses revealed that both the quantity and the reactivity of the surface reaction sites(surface Cu+and O_(2))could determine the catalytic ability of CuO affecting efficient Cu^(+)-based molecular oxygen activation.Moreover,the O_(2) activation ability of CuO would depend on not only the dimension,but also crystalline factors,for example,the exposed facets.Mingjie Huang Wei Xiang Chen Wang Tao Zhou Juan Mao Xiaohui Wu Fugang Zhang Dan Li Xiejuan Lu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,10:1

20Calculation of Transient Stress Field During Laser Transformation Hardening Process显示文摘A thermal elastic-plastic Two-D finite element model to calculate the transient stress field during laser transformation hardening process was developed in this paper. The mechanical properties of material, Young’s module E, Poisson’s ratio v, yield limit s2 and thermal expansion coefficient a are all considered to change with temperature. The equivalent expansion method was used to deal with the problem with phase transformation. A program to calculate the transient stress field was developed using FORTRAN language. The transient and residual stress fields during CO2 laser transformation hardening process of MoCu nodular iron were calculated. The residual stress fields were measured using X-ray diffraction method. The calculated residual stress field of laser transformation hardened MoCu nodular iron is in good agreement with the experimental result.Liwen Zhang, J.
