| 1 | GSA:Genome Sequence Archive显示文摘With the rapid development of sequencing technologies towards higher throughput and lower cost, sequence data are generated at an unprecedentedly explosive rate. To provide an efficient and easy-to-use platform for managing huge sequence data, here we present Genome Sequence Archive(GSA; http://gffzzdbc7b6aaae734bddhxb9kkkfnfp966op6.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/gsa or http://gffzz4eaf941a184140e3hxb9kkkfnfp966op6.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn), a data repository for archiving raw sequence data. In compliance with data standards and structures of the International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration(INSDC), GSA adopts four data objects(Bio Project, Bio Sample,Experiment, and Run) for data organization, accepts raw sequence reads produced by a variety of sequencing platforms, stores both sequence reads and metadata submitted from all over the world,and makes all these data publicly available to worldwide scientific communities. | 2 | Modeling study of a severe aerosol pollution event in December 2013over Shanghai China:An application of chemical data assimilation显示文摘This study focuses on the importance of initial conditions to air-quality predictions.We ran assimilation experiments using the WRF-Chem model and grid-point statistical interpolation(GSI),for a 9-day severe particulate matter pollution event that occurred in Shanghai in December 2013.In this application,GSI used a three-dimensional variational approach to assimilate ground-based PM2.5 observations into the chemical model,to obtain initial fields for the aerosol species.In our results,data assimilation significantly reduced the errors when compared to a simulation without assimilation,and improved forecasts of PM_(2.5)concentrations.Despite a drop in skill directly after the assimilation,a positive effect was present in forecasts for at least 12-24 h,and there was a slight improvement in the 48-h forecasts.In addition to performing well in Shanghai,the verification statistics for this assimilation experiment are encouraging for most of the surface stations in China. | Jian-Bin Wu Jianming Xu Mariusz Pagowski Fuhai Geng Songqiang Gu Guangqiang Zhou Ying Xie Zhongqi Yu | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,3: | 4 |

| 11 | Flexible broadband WS_(2)/Si optical position-sensitive detector with high sensitivity and fast speed显示文摘Si-based optical position-sensitive detectors(PSDs)have stimulated the interest of researchers due to their wide range of practical applications.However,due to the rigidity and fragility of Si crystals,the applications of flexible PSDs have been limited.Therefore,we presented a flexible broadband PSD based on a WS_(2)/Si heterostructure for the first time.A scalable sputtering method was used to deposit WS_(2)thin films onto the etched ultrathin crystalline Si surface.The fabricated flexible PSD device has a broad spectral response in the wavelength range of 450-1350 nm,with a high position sensitivity of~539.8 mV·mm^(−1)and a fast response of 2.3μs,thanks to the strong light absorption,the built-in electrical field at the WS_(2)/Si interface,and facilitated transport.Furthermore,mechanical-bending tests revealed that after 200 mechanical-bending cycles,the WS_(2)/Si PSDs have excellent mechanical flexibility,stability,and durability,demonstrating the great potential in wearable PSDs with competitive performance. | Yunjie Liu Yupeng Wu Fuhai Guo Yingming Liu Shirong Zhao Siqi Li Weizhuo Yu Lanzhong Hao | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,6: | 0 |
| 12 | DEM simulations of tote blenders for enhanced axial mixing efficiency显示文摘The mixing performance of a multi-bladed tote blender is investigated using a graphics processing unit-based discrete element method program.The positioning,dimensions,and applicability of the baffles are systematically studied according to the axial mixing efficiency.The results indicate that the novel inclined multi-bladed baffles can break the symmetrical axial granular flow and introduce a more efficient convective flow into the granular mixing in the axial direction of the tote blender.Owing to the joint effects of convective mixing and asymmetrical granular flow,the axial mixing efficiency is increased by a factor of nearly 20.More importantly,the novel baffle placement approach exhibits excellent applicability to different operating conditions,particle shapes,and blender sizes.Additionally,the inclined baffles can prevent the segregation caused by shape discrepancies and improve the mixing homogeneity in the steady state.The novel baffle design is promising for applications in more complex industrial blenders for achieving a high axial mixing efficiency. | Fuhai Yu Zhihao Yao Guojie Chen Yun Zhang Yang Zheng | 2021 | Particuology2021,19,2: | 0 |
