| 11 | A bi-objective optimization approach for selection of passive energy alternatives in retrofit projects under cost uncertainty显示文摘Improving energy performance of buildings is of particular importance in new construction and existing buildings.Building refurbishment is considered a practical pathway towards energy efficiency as the replacement of older buildings is at a slow pace.There are various ways of incorporating energy conservation measures in buildings through refurbishment projects.As such,we have to choose among various passive or active measures.In this study,we develop an integrated assessment model to direct energy management decisions in retrofit projects.Our focus will be on alternative passive measures that can be included in refurbishment projects to reduce overall energy consumption in buildings.We identify the relative priority of these alternatives with respect to their non-monetary(qualitative)benefits and issues using an analytic network process.Then,the above priorities will form a utility function that will be optimized along with the energy demand and retrofit costs using a multi-objective optimization model.We also explore various approaches to formulate the uncertainties that may arise in cost estimations and incorporate them into the optimization model.The applicability and authenticity of the proposed model is demonstrated through an illustrative case study application.The results reveal that the choice of the optimization approach for a retrofit project shall be done with respect to the extent of variations(uncertainties)in expected utilities(benefits)and costs for the alternative passive technologies. | Farhad Amiri Fard Fuzhan Nasiri | 2020 | Energy and Built Environment2020,1,1: | 0 |

| 15 | Fabrication and Magnetic Property of One-dimensional SrTiO_3/SrFe_(12)O_(19) Composite Nanofibers by Electrospinning显示文摘The composite nanofibers of SrTiO3/SrFe12O19 with a molar ratio of 1:1 and diameter about 120 nm were prepared by electrospinning. Effects of calcination temperature on the formation, crystallite size, morphology and magnetic property were studied by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and vibrating sample magnetometer. The binary phase of strontium ferrite and titanate was formed after being calcined at 900℃ for 2 h and the composite nanofibers were fabricated from nanograins of SrTiO3 about 24 nm and SrFe12O19 around 33 nm. The crystallite sizes for the nanofibers increase with increasing calcination temperature and the addition of SrTiO3 has an obvious suppression effect on SrFe12O19 grain growth. The specific saturation magnetization and remanence tend to increase with the crystallite size. | 17 | A 26-Gb/s CMOS optical receiver with a reference-less CDR in 65-nm CMOS显示文摘This paper presents a 26-Gb/s CMOS optical receiver that is fabricated in 65-nm technology. It consists of a tripleinductive transimpedance amplifier(TIA), direct current(DC) offset cancellation circuits, 3-stage gm-TIA variable-gain amplifiers(VGA), and a reference-less clock and data recovery(CDR) circuit with built-in equalization technique. The TIA/VGA frontend measurement results demonstrate 72-dB? transimpedance gain, 20.4-GHz-3-dB bandwidth, and 12-dB DC gain tuning range. The measurements of the VGA’s resistive networks also demonstrate its efficient capability of overcoming the voltage and temperature variations. The CDR adopts a full-rate topology with 12-dB imbedded equalization tuning range. Optical measurements of this chipset achieve a 10-12 BER at 26 Gb/s for a 2;-1 PRBS input with a-7.3-dBm input sensitivity. The measurement results with a 10-dB @ 13 GHz attenuator also demonstrate the effectiveness of the gain tuning capability and the built-in equalization.
