| 3 | Fabrication of(TiB/Ti)-TiAl composites with a controlled laminated architecture and enhanced mechanical properties显示文摘The(TiB/Ti)-TiAl composites with a laminated structure composing of alternating TiB/Ti composite layers,α_(2)-Ti_(3)Al interfacial reaction layers of andγ-TiAl layers were successfully pre pared by spark plasma sintering of alternately stacked Tib_(2)/Ti powder layers and TiAl powder layers.And the influence of thickness ratio of Tib_(2)/Ti powder layers to TiAl powder layers on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of the re sulting(TiB/Ti)-TiAl laminated composites were investigated systemically.The results showed that the thickening ofα_(2)-Ti_(3)Al layers which originated from the reaction of Ti and TiAl was significantly hindered by introducing Tib_(2)particles into starting Ti powders.As the thickness ratio of Tib_(2)/Ti powder layers to TiAl powder layers increased,the bending fracture strength and fracture toughness at room temperature of the final(TiB/Ti)-TiAl laminated composites were remarkably improved,especially for the(TiB/Ti)-TiAl composites prepared by Tib_(2)/Ti powder layers with thickness of 800μm and TiAl powder layers with thickness of 400μm,whose fracture toughness and bending strength were up to 51.2 MPa·m^(1/2)and 1456 MPa,respectively,293%and 108%higher than that of the monolithic TiAl alloys in the present work.This was attributed to the addition of high-performance network TiB/Ti composite layers.Moreover,it was noteworthy that the ultimate tensile strength at 700℃of(TiB/Ti)-TiAl composites fabricated by 400μm thick Tib_(2)/Ti powder layers and 400μm thick TiAl powder layers was as high as that at 550℃of network TiB/Ti composites.This means the service temperature of(TiB/Ti)-TiAl laminated composites was likely raised by 150℃,meanwhile a good combination of high strength and high toughness at ambient tempe rature could be maintained.Finally,the fracture mechanism of(TiB/Ti)-TiAl laminated composites was proposed. | Hao Ding Xiping Cui Naonao Gao Yuan Sun Yuanyuan Zhang Lujun Huang Lin Geng | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3: | 3 |

All the experimental data passed a point to point consistency test of Van Ness method, which verified the data reliability. The Wilson and UNIQUAC activity coefficient models were employed to correlate the binary VLE data to obtain binary interaction parameters. Based on binary interaction parameters, ternary VLE data of ethanol(1) + ethyl propionate(2) + para-xylene(3) were predicted by Wilson and UNIQUAC models, which proved that predicted values are consistent with the experimental data.Furthermore, azeotropic phenomenon between ethanol and ethyl propionate disappears when the mole ratio of para-xylene and binary system of ethanol and ethyl propionate is 1:1. | 9 | Interfacial reaction mechanism of TiBw/Ti6Al4V composites and Inconel 718 alloys by GTAW heat transmission显示文摘A good joint of Ti Bw/Ti6Al4V composites and Inconel 718 alloys was obtained by Gas Tungsten Arc Welding(GTAW) heat transmission. The interfacial reaction mechanism of joint was investigated and analyzed in details. Owing to the heat input applied on the surface of Ti Bw/Ti6Al4V composites, a solid-state reaction layer appeared at the interface of Ti Bw/Ti6Al4 V composites to Inconel 718 alloys. The thickness of the reaction layer was obviously increased with increasing heat input.Developing of reaction layer mainly depended on the diffusion of elements of Ti and Ni through the interface during welding to form solid solutions and intermetallic compounds(IMCs). The reaction layer can be divided into Ti-rich zone(layer 2) and Nirich zone(layer 1). In Ni-rich zone, relatively coarse dendrites were the predominant, however, more brittle IMCs like Ti2Ni were found in the Ti-rich zone. Micro hardness of reaction layer was much higher than that of base metal. | 11 | Revealing the dominant factor of domain boundary resistance on bulk conductivity in lanthanum lithium titanates显示文摘Perovskite-type lithium lanthanum titanates(LLTO)display a high bulk ionic conductivity and are considered a promising electrolyte for building up to advanced solid-state Li-ion batteries.The LLTO crystals contain a high concentration of intrinsically formed 90ο-rotated domain boundaries(DBs)serving as barriers to bulk Li-ion conduction.However,the mechanism of how the DB concentration and DB resistance can compete with each other to determine the bulk conductivity of LLTO is still unknown.Here we report a comprehensive study of LLTO compounds,aimed to unravel the mechanism and hence explore new path(s)for further improving the conductivity of this material.Our results show that both the sintering temperature and chemical composition can affect significantly the domain structures in LLTO.It is found that a decrease in the DB concentration is always accompanied by increased DB resistance due to the increased lattice mismatch at DBs,and vice versa.By unifying the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy analysis,it is clearly shown that the high DB resistance,instead of DB concentration,acts as the dominant factor governing the bulk conductivity of LLTO.The results thus renew the conventional understanding of the bulk Li-ion conduction in LLTO and shed light on developing novel LLTO electrolyte materials with improved ionic conductivity. | Xuefeng Zhou Cong Gao Dandan Wang Shang Peng Lujun Huang Wenge Yang Wen-Hua Zhang Xiang Gao | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,10: | 0 |
| 12 | 8-Oxoguanine DNA glycosylase protects cells from senescence via the p53-p21 pathway显示文摘Cellular senescence is an important factor leading to pulmonary fibrosis.Deficiency of 8-oxoguanine DNA glyco-sylase(OGG1)in mice leads to alleviation of bleomycin(BLM)-induced mouse pulmonary fibrosis,and inhibition of the OGG1 enzyme reduces the epithelial mesenchymal transition(EMT)in lung cells.In the present study,we find decreased expression of OGG1 in aged mice and BLM-induced cell senescence.In addition,a decrease in OGG1 expression results in cell senescence,such as increases in the percentage of SA-β-gal-positive cells,and in the p21 and p-H2AX protein levels in response to BLM in lung cells.Furthermore,OGG1 promotes cell transformation in A549 cells in the presence of BLM.We also find that OGG1 siRNA impedes cell cycle progression and inhibits the levels of telomerase reverse transcriptase(TERT)and LaminB1 in BLM-treated lung cells.The increase in OGG1 expression results in the opposite phenomenon.The mRNA levels of senescence-associated secretory phenotype(SASP)components,including IL-1α,IL-1β,IL-6,IL-8,CXCL1/CXCL2,and MMP-3,in the absence of OGG1 are obviously increased in A549 cells treated with BLM.Interestingly,we demonstrate that OGG1 binds to p53 to inhibit the activation of p53 and that silencing of p53 reverses the inhibition of OGG1 on senescence in lung cells.Ad-ditionally,the augmented cell senescence is shown in vivo in OGG1-deficient mice.Overall,we provide direct evidence in vivo and in vitro that OGG1 plays an important role in protecting tissue cells against aging associated withthep53pathway. | Shenglan Gao Lujun Chen Ziying Lin Zhiliang Xu Yahong Wang Huayu Ling Zijun Wu Yu Yin Weimin Yao Keng Wu Gang Liu | 2024 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,2: | 0 |

| 14 | Enhancing reversibility of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4)by regulating surface oxygen deficiency显示文摘Oxygen deficiency has crucial effects on the crystal structure and electrochemical performance of spinel oxide lithium electrode materials such as LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4)(LNMO)cathode.In particular,the oxygen stoichiometry on the crystal surface differs from that on the crystal interior in LNMO.The detection of local oxygen loss in LNMO and its correlation with the crystal structure and the cycling stability of LNMO remain challenging.In this study,the effect of oxygen deficiency in LNMO controlled by sintering temperature on the surface crystal structure and electrochemical performance of LNMO is comprehensively investigated.The high concentration of oxygen vacancies segregates at the surface regions of LNMO forming a thin rock‐salt and/or deficient spinel surface layer.The atomic‐level surface structure reconstruction was demonstrated by annular dark‐field and annular brightfield techniques.For the synthesis of LNMO,the higher sintering temperature results in higher crystallinity but the higher oxygen deficiency in LNMO.The high crystallinity of LNMO would increase the thermal stability of LNMO cathodes while the high content of oxygen deficiency would decrease the surface structural stability of LNMO.Therefore,the LNMO sintered at a medium temperature of 850°C achieved the best capacity retention.The results suggest a competitive function mechanism between oxygen stoichiometry and the crystallinity of LNMO on the cycling performance of LNMO. | Dandan Wang Cong Gao Xuefeng Zhou Shang Peng Mingxue Tang Yonggang Wang Lujun Huang Wenge Yang Xiang Gao | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,11: | 0 |
