| 1 | Alterations in gut microbiota and metabolites associated with altitude-induced cardiac hypertrophy in rats during hypobaric hypoxia challenge显示文摘The gut microbiota is involved in host responses to high altitude.However,the dynamics of intestinal microecology and their association with altitude-related illness are poorly understood.Here,we used a rat model of hypobaric hypoxia challenge to mimic plateau exposure and monitored the gut microbiome,short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs),and bile acids(BAs)over 28 d.We identified weight loss,polycythemia,and pathological cardiac hypertrophy in hypoxic rats,accompanied by a large compositional shift in the gut microbiota,which is mainly driven by the bacterial families of Prevotellaceae,Porphyromonadaceae,and Streptococcaceae.The aberrant gut microbiota was characterized by increased abundance of the Parabacteroides,Alistipes,and Lactococcus genera and a larger Bacteroides to Prevotella ratio.Trans-omics analyses showed that the gut microbiome was significantly correlated with the metabolic abnormalities of SCFAs and BAs in feces,suggesting an interaction network remodeling of the microbiome-metabolome after the hypobaric hypoxia challenge.Interestingly,the transplantation of fecal microbiota significantly increased the diversity of the gut microbiota,partially inhibited the increased abundance of the Bacteroides and Alistipes genera,restored the decrease of plasma propionate,and moderately ameliorated cardiac hypertrophy in hypoxic rats.Our results provide an insight into the longitudinal changes in intestinal microecology during the hypobaric hypoxia challenge.Abnormalities in the gut microbiota and microbial metabolites contribute to the development of high-altitude heart disease in rats. | Zhiyuan Pan Yichen Hu Zongyu Huang Ni Han Yan Li Xiaomei Zhuang Jiye Yin Hui Peng Quansheng Gao Wenpeng Zhang Yong Huang Yujun Cui Yujing Bi Zhenjiang Zech Xu Ruifu Yang | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,10: | 5 |
| 2 | Free-standing phosphorous-doped molybdenum nitride in 3D carbon nanosheet towards hydrogen evolution at all pH values显示文摘Highly efficient electrocatalysts towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) with large current density at all-pH values are critical for the sustainable hydrogen production. Herein, we report a free-standing HER electrode, phosphorous-doped molybdenum nitride nanoparticles embedded in 3-dimentional carbon nanosheet matrix(P-Mo2N-CNS) fabricated via one-step carbonization and in-situ formation. The asprepared catalyst shows free-standing architecture with interconnected porous microstructure. P-doped Mo2N nanoparticles with an average diameter of 4.4 nm are well embedded in the 3-dimentional vertical carbon nanosheets matrix. Remarkable electrocatalytic HER performance is observed in alkaline, neutral and acidic media at large current densities. The overpotential of P-Mo2N-CNS to drive a current density of 100 mA cm-2 in 0.5 M H2SO4 and 1.0 M PBS is only 181 and 221 mV, respectively. In particular, the current density reaches up to 1000 mA cm-2 at a low overpotential of 256 mV in 1.0 M KOH, much better than that of the commercial Pt/C catalyst. | 3 | Residential PV capacity estimation and power disaggregation using net metering measurements显示文摘As the intermittency and uncertainty of photovoltaic(PV)power generation poses considerable challenges to the power system operation,accurate PV generation estimates are critical for the distribution operation,maintenance,and demand response program implementation because of the increasing usage of distributed PVs.Currently,most residential PVs are installed behind the meter,with only the net load available to the utilities.Therefore,a method for disaggregating the residential PV generation from the net load data is needed to enhance the grid-edge observability.In this study,an unsupervised PV capacity estimation method based on net metering data is proposed,for estimating the PV capacity in the customer’s premise based on the distribution characteristics of nocturnal and diurnal net load extremes.Then,the PV generation disaggregation method is presented.Based on the analysis of the correlation between the nocturnal and diurnal actual loads and the correlation between the PV capacity and their actual PV generation,the PV generation of customers is estimated by applying linear fitting of multiple typical solar exemplars and then disaggregating them into hourly-resolution power profiles.Finally,the anomalies of disaggregated PV power are calibrated and corrected using the estimated capacity.Experiment results on a real-world hourly dataset involving 260 customers show that the proposed PV capacity estimation method achieves good accuracy because of the advantages of robustness and low complexity.Compared with the state-of-the-art PV disaggregation algorithm,the proposed method exhibits a reduction of over 15%for the mean absolute percentage error and over 20%for the root mean square error. | Bo Liu Jianmin Tian Wenpeng Luan Yi Gao Xiaohui Wang Shuai Luo | 2022 | Global Energy Interconnection2022,5,6: | 1 |
| 4 | Improved Flight Conflict Detection Algorithm Based on Gauss-Hermite Particle Filter显示文摘In order to improve the accuracy of free flight conflict detection and reduce the false alarm rate, an improved flight conflict detection algorithm is proposed based on Gauss-Hermite particle filter(GHPF). The algorithm improves the traditional flight conflict detection method in two aspects:(i) New observation data are integrated into system state transition probability, and Gauss-Hermite Filter(GHF) is used for generating the importance density function.(ii) GHPF is used for flight trajectory prediction and flight conflict probability calculation. The experimental results show that the accuracy of conflict detection and tracing with GHPF is better than that with standard particle filter. | 5 | Supported ionic liquid phase-boosted highly active and durable electrocatalysts towards hydrogen evolution reaction in acidic electrolyte显示文摘Platinum is generally known as the most effective electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction because it can greatly lower the overpotential and accelerate the reaction kinetics,while its commercial potential always suffers from scarcity,high cost,low utilization,and poor durability particularly in acidic electrolytes.We herein demonstrate a facile method to improve the hydrogen evolution performance of Pt-based electrocatalysts by simply decorating the-state-of-the-art and commercially available Pt/C with hydrophobic protic([DBU][NTf2])or aprotic([BMIm][NTf2])ionic liquid.The current densities of[BMIm]@Pt/C and[DBU-H]@Pt/C with 10% ionic liquid at an overpotential of 40 mV are 2.81 and 4.15 times,respectively,higher than that of the pristine Pt/C.More importantly,ionic liquid-decoration significantly improves the long-term stability of Pt nanoparticles.After 8 h of chronoamperometric measurements,[DBU-H]@Pt/C and[BMIm]@Pt/C can still retain 83.7% and 78.3% of their original activity,respectively,which is much higher than that of the pristine Pt/C(24.4%).The improved performance of Pt/C decorated with ionic liquid is considered to arise from the improved proton conductivity(particularly for protic ionic liquid)and hydrophobic microenvironment created by the supported ionic liquid phase.The presence of ionic liquid layer not only de-coordinates H+from hydronium ions nearby the Pt nanoparticles,but it also protects Pt nanoparticles from dissolution in the acidic media. | Qiyou Wang Yang Gao Zhongyun Ma Yan Zhang Wenpeng Ni Hussein AYounus Ce Zhang Zhengjian Chen Shiguo Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3: | 1 |

| 7 | Illite-smectite Mixed-layer Minerals in the Alteration Volcanic Ashes under Submarine Environment显示文摘The clay mineralogy of the clay intervals interbedded with siliceous mudstones across the Permian-Triassic boundary (PTB) in Pengda, Guiyang, Guizhou province, was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The clay mineral assemblages of the sediments are mainly I/S clays and minor smectite, kaolinite, and illite as reveled by XRD analyses. The peak-shape parameters BB1 and BB2 of I/S clays of the representative clay bed PL-01 are 4.7° and 4.4°, and the peak position of the low angle reflection is at 6.8° 2θ (13.6 ), suggesting that the I/S clays has a IS type of ordering. However, the presence of multi-order reflections and their intensities are different from those of completely ordered 1∶1 mixed-layer I/S clay rectorite, indicating that I/S clays of the Pengda section have partially ordered IS structures. HRTEM observations show that most of the I/S clays exhibit an IS stacking ordering. However, in some areas within a IS particle, smectite layer is observed in doublets, triplets, and quartets, which are interstratified by various amounts of illite layers, suggesting the presence of other irregular stacking in addition to the major 1∶1 IS ordered stacking. Transformation of smectite layer into illite layers is also observed in the I/S clays, suggesting that the Pengda I/S clays are derived from smectite illitization, in good agreement with the clay mineral assemblage.
