| 1 | A Globally Convergent Polak-Ribiere-Polyak Conjugate Gradient Method with Armijo-Type Line Search显示文摘In this paper, we propose a globally convergent Polak-Ribiere-Polyak (PRP) conjugate gradient method for nonconvex minimization of differentiable functions by employing an Armijo-type line search which is simpler and less demanding than those defined in [4,10]. A favorite property of this method is that we can choose the initial stepsize as the one-dimensional minimizer of a quadratic modelΦ(t):= f(xk)+tgkTdk+(1/2) t2dkTQkdk, where Qk is a positive definite matrix that carries some second order information of the objective function f. So, this line search may make the stepsize tk more easily accepted. | 3 | Fusion of Infrared and Visible Images Based on Infrared Object Extraction显示文摘The ideal fused results of infrared and visible images,should contain the important infrared objects,and preserve the visible textural detail information as much as possible.The fused images are more consistent with human visual perception effect.For this purpose,a novel infrared and visible image fusion framework is proposed.Under the guidance of the model,the source images are decomposed into large-scale edge,small-scale textural detail and coarse-scale base level information.Among which,the large-scale edge information contains the main infrared features,on this basis,the infrared image is further segmented into the object,transition and background regions by OTSU multi-threshold segmentation algorithm.In the end,the fused weights for the decomposed sub-information are determined by the segmented results,so that,the infrared object information can be effectively injected into the fused image,and the important visible textural detail information can be preserved as much as possible in the fused image.Experimental results show that,the proposed method can not only highlight the infrared objects,but also preserve the visual information in the visible image as much as possible.The fused results are superior to the commonly used representative fusion methods,both in subjective perception and objective evaluation. | RONG Chuanzhen LIU Gaohang PING Zhuolin JIA Yongxing YUE Zhenjun XU Guanghui | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2021,30,2: | 1 |

| 14 | A novel satiety sensor detects circulating glucose and suppresses food consumption via insulin-producing cells in Drosophila显示文摘Sensing satiety is a crucial survival skill for all animal species including human.Despite the discovery of numerous neuromodulators that regulate food intake in Drosophila,the mechanism of satiety sensing remains largely elusive.Here,we investigated how neuropeptidergic circuitry conveyed satiety state to influence flies’food consumption.Drosophila tackykinin(DTK)and its receptor TAKR99D were identified in an RNAi screening as feeding suppressors.Two pairs of DTK^(+) neurons in the fly brain could be activated by elevated D-glucose in the hemolymph and imposed a suppressive effect on feeding.These DTK^(+) neurons formed a two-synapse circuitry targeting insulin-producing cells,a well-known feeding suppressor,via TAKR99D^(+) neurons,and this circuitry could be rapidly activated during food ingestion and cease feeding.Taken together,we identified a novel satiety sensor in the fly brain that could detect specific circulating nutrients and in turn modulate feeding,shedding light on the neural regulation of energy homeostasis. | Wei Qi Gaohang Wang Liming Wang | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,5: | 0 |
