1The technology of space plasma in-situ measurement on the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite显示文摘The China Seismo-Electromagnetic satellite(CSES) was designed to study the ionospheric disturbances associated with earthquakes. Satellite payload includes nine instruments. Among them, we recall instruments for plasma analysis, electric, magnetic fields and high energy particle detectors. Langmuir probe(LP) and plasma analyzer package(PAP) are the in-situ payloads to measure space plasma. Its scientific objective is to research space plasma physics phenomena and the ionosphere changes caused by seismic. It is the first application of in-situ measurement technology in the field of space exploration in China. The Langmuir probe and Plasma Analyzer Package have been tested and calibrated to verify the performance in INAF-IAPS.Currently, on-orbit testing is being performed with satellites.LIU Chao GUAN YiBing ZHENG XiangZhi ZHANG AiBing PIERO Diego SUN YueQiang 2019Science China(Technological Sciences)2019,62,5:5
2A Satellite-borne Miniature Ion Mass Spectrometer for Space Plasma显示文摘The miniature design technology is an important trend in space exploration.Mass spectrometer is used extensively in the space environment detection. The miniature ion mass spectrometer utilizes a 127° cylindrical electrostatic analyzer accompanied with a Time of Flight(TOF)unit based on ultrathin carbon foil to measure the energy spectra and composition of space plasma. The Time of Flight technique has been used broadly in space plasma measurement.A new type of miniature method for the ion mass spectrometer is introduced. The total mass of the instrument is1.8 kg and the total power consumption is 2.0 W.The calibration results show that the energy measurement range is 8.71~43550eV,the energy resolution is 1.86%and the ion mass from 1 amu(1 amu= 1.67 × 10^(-27)kg) to 58 amu can be resolved by the miniature mass spectrometer. The miniature ion mass spectrometer also has a potential to be increased in the field of view by an electrostatic deflecting system to extend its application in space plasma detection. The miniature ion mass spectrometer has been selected for pre-study of Chinese Strategic Priority Research Program on Space Science.KONG Linggao ZHANG Aibing ZHENG Xiangzhi AN Yaya WANG Wenjing TIAN Zhen GUAN Yibing LIU Chao DING Jianjing SUN Yueqiang 2015空间科学学报2015,35,6:2
3The Langmuir Probe onboard CSES: data inversion analysis method and first results显示文摘The Langmuir Probe(LAP), onboard the China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite(CSES), has been designed for in situ measurements of bulk parameters of the ionosphere plasma, the first Chinese application of in-situ measurement technology in the field of space exploration. The two main parameters measured by LAP are electron density and temperature. In this paper, a brief description of the LAP and its work mode are provided. Based on characteristics of the LAP, and assuming an ideal plasma environment, we introduce in detail a method used to invert the I-V curve; the data products that can be accessed by users are shown. Based on the LAP data available, this paper reports that events such as earthquakes and magnetic storms are preceded and followed by obvious abnormal changes. We suggest that LAP could provide a valuable data set for studies of space weather, seismic events, and the ionospheric environment.Rui Yan YiBing Guan XuHui Shen JianPing Huang XueMin Zhang Chao Liu DaPeng Liu 2018Earth and Planetary Physics2018,2,6:2
