| 16 | Measuring Zak phase in room-temperature atoms显示文摘Cold atoms provide a flexible platform for synthesizing and characterizing topological matter,where geometric phases play a central role.However,cold atoms are intrinsically prone to thermal noise,which can overwhelm the topological response and hamper promised applications.On the other hand,geometric phases also determine the energy spectra of particles subjected to a static force,based on the polarization relation between Wannier-Stark ladders and geometric Zak phases.By exploiting this relation,we develop a method to extract geometric phases from energy spectra of room-temperature superradiance lattices,which are momentum-space lattices of timed Dicke states.In such momentum-space lattices the thermal motion of atoms,instead of being a source of noise,provides effective forces which lead to spectroscopic signatures of the Zak phases.We measure Zak phases directly from the anti-crossings between Wannier-Stark ladders in the Doppler-broadened absorption spectra of superradiance lattices.Our approach paves the way of measuring topological invariants and developing their applications in room-temperature atoms. | Ruosong Mao Xingqi Xu Jiefei Wang Chenran Xu Gewei Qian Han Cai Shi-Yao Zhu Da-Wei Wang | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,10: | 0 |
| 17 | A KIND OF PAPR REDUCTION METHOD BASED ON PRUNING WPM AND PTS TECHNOLOGY显示文摘Wavelet packet multicarrier system gains widespread concern because of its better resistance performance to Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) and Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI), as well as the higher spectrum efficiency. However, multicarrier system has a high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR), which will lead to many problems such as lower system performance. In order to solve the problem, a kind of PAPR reduction method based on pruning Wavelet Packet Modulation (WPM) and Partial Transmit Sequences (PTS) technology is proposed in this paper, through proper pruning of the full-tree structure of wavelet packet modulation in the PTS technology to reduce the number of nodes in the system, and finally improve the reduction effect of PAPR. Simulation results show that when Complementary Cumulative Distribution Function (CCDF) is 10 -3 , PTS based on pruning WPM compared with PTS technique and pruning technique has improved about 1 dB and 1.5 dB, which will not affect the system's Bit Error Rate (BER) performance in the wavelet packet multicarrier system. | Huang Xian Tan Gewei Xu Qingyong Xu Ning Wang Shuangxi | 2013 | Journal of Electronics(China)2013,30,3: | 0 |
