1Assessment on heavy metals pollution of agricultural soil in Guanzhong District显示文摘The monitored soil samples were collected from Heihui irrigated area, Jiaokou irrigated area, Qianhe river valley and Jinghe river valley (hereafter Heihui, Jiaokou, Qianhe and Jinghe for short respectively) of Guanzhong District. According to the Environment Quality Standard for Soil (GB15618-1995II), we evaluated the pollution status of heavy metals (Cd, As, Cr and Pb) that could seriously endanger soil environment and human health by using single-factor index and synthetic pollution index methods. The results indicate that the synthetic pollution indices P of soil heavy metals are less than 0.7 in Heihui, Jiaokou, Qianhe and Jinghe of Guanzhong, the single-factor indices Pi of soil heavy metals of most soil samples are less than 0.7, so the soil environmental quality is in a good condition in Guanzhong on the whole; the enrichment degree of soil heavy metals is in the order of Heihui, Jinghe, Qianhe and Jiaokou; the contaminated degree of soil heavy metals has the feature of Cd > As > Cr > Pb; heavy metals contents in the cultivated horizon soil are generally higher than those in its underlayer soil, heavy metals contents of soil have the characteristic of enriching towards the cultivated horizon; Cd exceeds standard in the soil samples HS07a, b and HS08a, b at the Yangtao orchard in Heihui and in the soil sample QHS01a at the suburban vegetable plot in Qianhe, which was mainly caused by the long-term irrational use of chemical fertilizer and pesticide.ZHENG Guozhang YUE Leping LI Zhipei CHEN Chao 2006Journal of Geographical Sciences2006,16,1:21
2Evolution of the Ordos Plateau and environmental effects显示文摘Based on the analysis of temporary-spatial distribution, geomorphic position, contact relationship with underlying strata and grain size of red clay, we studied the formation and environmental background of red clay. During late Miocene-Pliocene, the Ordos Block finished the transformation from the basin to the plateau, which had an obvious environmental effect on the topography, indicated by the formation of highland undergoing wind erosion and lowland receiving red clay deposits. The red clay materials were sourced from dusts carried by wind energy and covered on the initial topography. Unlike Quaternary loess dust covering the overall the Loess Plateau, red clay deposited on the highland would be transported to the lowlands by wind and fluvial process. As a result, there was no continuous 'Red Clay Plateau' in the Ordos region and red clay was only preserved in former lowlands. However, red clay was discontinuously distributed through the Loess Plateau and to some extent modified the initial topography. The differential uplift in interior plateau is indicated by the uplift of northern Baiyushan, central Ziwuling and southern Weibeibeishan. The Weibeibeishan Depression formed earlier and became the sedimentary center of red clay resulting in the thicker red clay deposits in Chaona, Lingtai and Xunyi. Since Quaternary the aridity in the northern plateau enhanced and accelerated loess accumulation caused the formation of the Loess Plateau. During the late Pleistocene the rapid uplift led to the enhancement of erosion. Especially after the cut-through of Sanme Lake by the Yellow River, the decline of base level caused the falling of ground water level and at the same time the increase of drainage density resulting in the enhancement of evaporation capacity, which enhanced the aridity tendency of aridity in the Loess Plateau region.YUE LePing LI JianXing ZHENG GuoZhang LI ZhiPei 2007Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,z2:8
3Highly stretchable polymer/silver nanowires composite sensor for human health monitoring显示文摘Flexible strain sensors exhibit outstanding advantages in terms of sensitivity and stability by detecting changes in physical signals.It can be easily attached to human skin and clothed to achieve monitoring of human motion and health.However,general sensing material shows low stretchability and cannot respond to signals under large deformation.In this work,a highly stretchable polymer composite was developed by adding small amount(0.17 wt.%)of silver nanowires(AgNWs)in stretchable conductive polymer materials.The conductivity of polymer/AgNWs composite is 1.3 S/m with the stretchability up to 500%.The stretchable strain sensor based on the polymer/AgNWs composite can respond to strain signals in real time,even for 1%strain response,and shows excellent stability over 1,000 loading/unloading cycles.Moreover,the strain sensor can be attached to human skin and clothed to monitor joints,throat and pulse of the human body.The human body electrocardiogram(ECG)signal was detected successfully with the polymer/AgNWs electrode,which is comparable to the signal obtained by the commercial electrode.Overall,the sensors enable monitoring of human movement and health.These advantages make it a potential application in wearable devices and electronic skin.Yanjing Zhang Pei He Meng Luo Xiaowen Xu Guozhang Dai Junliang Yang 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:7

5Effects of climate change and land-use changes on spatiotemporal distributions of blue water and green water in Ningxia, Northwest China显示文摘Water resources are a crucial factor that determines the health of ecosystems and socio-economic development;however,they are under threat due to climate change and human activities.The quantitative assessment of water resources using the concept of blue water and green water can improve regional water resources management.In this study,spatiotemporal distributions of blue water and green water were simulated and analyzed under scenarios of climate change and land-use changes using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT)in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,Northwest China,between 2009 and 2014.Green water,a leading component of water resources,accounted for more than 69.00%of the total water resources in Ningxia.Blue water and green water showed a single peak trend on the monthly and annual scales during the study period.On the spatial scale,the southern region of Ningxia showed higher blue water and green water resources than the northern region.The spatiotemporal distribution features of blue water,green water,and green water flow had strong correlations with precipitation.Furthermore,the simulation identified the climate change in Ningxia to be more influential on blue water and green water than land-use changes.This study provides a specific scientific foundation to manage water resources in Ningxia when encountered with climate change together with human activities.WU Jun DENG Guoning ZHOU Dongmei ZHU Xiaoyan MA Jing CEN Guozhang JIN Yinli ZHANG Jun 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,7:3
6Characteristics of reactivity and structures of palm kernel shell (PKS) biochar during CO_2/H_2O mixture gasification显示文摘Palm kernel shell(PKS)biochars with different levels of carbon conversion were initially prepared using a tube furnace,after which the reactivity of each sample was assessed with a thermogravimetric analyzer under a CO_2 atmosphere.The pore structure and carbon ordering of each biochar also examined,employing a surface area analyzer and a Raman spectroscopy.Thermogravimetric results showed that the gasification index R_sof the PKS biochar decreased from 0.0305 min^(-1) at carbon conversion(x)=20% to 0.0278 min^(-1)at x=40%.The expansion of micropores was the dominant process during the pore structure evolution,ad mesopores with sizes ranging from 6 to 20,48 to 50 nm were primarily generated during gasification under a CO_2/H_2O mixture.The proportion of amorphous carbon in the PKS biochar decreased significantly as x increased,suggesting that the proportion of ordered carbon was increased during the CO_2/H_2O mixed gasification.A significantly reduced total reaction time was observed when employing a CO_2/intermittent H_2O process along with an 83.46% reduction in the steam feed,compared with the amount required using a CO_2/H_2O atmosphere.Guozhang Chang Ximin Yan Pengyu Qi Mei An Xiude Hu Qingjie Guo 2018Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2018,26,10:3

8Chemical looping gasification of sewage sludge using copper slag modified by NiO as an oxygen carrier显示文摘Chemical looping gasification(CLG) provides a novel approach to dispose the sewage sludge.In order to improve the reactivity of the calcined copper slag,NiO modification is considered as one of the good solutions.The copper slag calcined at 1100℃ doped with 20 wt% NiO(Ni20-CS) was used as an oxygen carrier(OC) in sludge CLG in the work.The modification of NiO can evidently enhance the reactivity of copper slag to promote the sludge conversion,especially for sludge char conversion.The carbon conversion and valid gas yield(V_(g)) increase from 67.02% and 0.23 m^(3)·kg^(-1) using the original OC to 78.34% and 0.29 m^(3)·kg^(-1) using the Ni20-CS OC, respectively.The increase of equivalent coefficient(Ω) facilitates the sludge conversion and a suitable Ω value is determined at 0.47 to obtain the highest valid gas yield(0.29 m^(3)·kg^(-1)).A suitable steam content is assigned at 27.22% to obtain the maximum carbon conversion of 87.09%,where an acceptable LHV of 12.63 MJ·m^(-3) and Vg of 0.39 m^(3)·kg^(-1)are obtained.Although the reactivity of Ni20-CS OC gradually decreases with the increase in cycle numbers because of the generation of NiFe_(2) O_(4-δ) species,the deposition of sludge ash containing many metallic elements is beneficial to the sludge conversion.As a result,the carbon conversion shows a slight uptrend with the increase of cycle numbers in sludge CLG.It indicates that the Ni20-CS sample is a good OC for sludge CLG.Nanhang Dong Ruiqiang Huo Ming Liu Lisheng Deng Zhengbing Deng Guozhang Chang Zhen Huang Hongyu Huang 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,1:2

10Multiple Gliomas显示文摘Multiple gliomas are well-recognized but uncommon tumors. The incidence of multiple gliomas according to some reports ranges from 0.5% to 20% of all gliomas diagnosed. Multiple gliomas can be divided into two categories. One is by location of the lesions (multifocal and multicentric). The second type is by the time of the lesions occur (synchronous and metachronous). The lesions generally show hypo, or isodensity on CT; a hypo-or isointense signal on T1-weighted images, and a hyperintense signal on T2-weighted images. Glioblastoma is the most frequent histotype. The prognosis of multiple gliomas remains unfavorable. The treatment of multiple gliomas includes surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Distinction between multicentric and multifocal gliomas is difficult.
