1Olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation and inhibition of NogoA,NgR and RhoA expression in the damaged zone to ameliorate spinal cord injury显示文摘BACKGROUND:Olfactory ensheathing cell(OEC) transplantation promotes repair of spinal cord injury.Neural regeneration inhibits binding of the myelin protein Nogo to its receptor(NgR),activates downstream inhibitory signal RhoA,and leads to axonal degeneration.OBJECTIVE:To determine the relationship between OECs transplantation for spinal cord injury and NogoA,NgR,and RhoA protein expression in the damaged zone.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,animal experiment was performed from September 2006 to May 2007 at the Key Laboratory of Environment and Genes in Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Medicine,China.MATERIALS:OECs were harvested from healthy,adult,male,Sprague Dawley rats aged 6 months.Mouse anti-rat NogoA,NgR,and RhoA monoclonal antibodies were utilized for detection.METHODS:A total of 40 adult Sprague Dawley rats were randomly assigned to four groups:normal,model,OECs,and DF12,with 10 animals in each group.Transverse section spinal cord injury was established in the OECs and DF12 groups,followed by injection of 1 μL OECs suspension(1 × 108/mL) or equivalent DF12 medium at 1 mm above and below the injury site.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Immunohistochemistry and Western blot were utilized to detect NogoA,NgR,and RhoA expression in the spinal cord injury lesions.Morphological changes were observed by argyrophilia staining,and lower extremity function of the animals was assessed using Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan scores.RESULTS:Eight weeks following OECs transplantation,a significant increase in new axons was observed in the OECs group,and nerve fibers crossed the injury site to repair spinal cord injury.Qualitative and quantitative results from the OECs group were superior to the model and DF12 groups.At 8 weeks after transplantation,Basso,Beattie,and Bresnahan scores were significantly greater in the OECs group compared with the model and DF12 groups(P < 0.01),but expression of NogoA,NgR,and RhoA protein was significantly decreased compared with the model and DF12 groups(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION:OEC transplantation could inhibit NogoA,NgR,and RhoA expression in spinal cord injury lesions,thereby promoting repair of spinal cord injury.Puwei Yuan Xijing He Guoyu Wang Yangquan Hao Deyu Liu 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,13:2
2Characteristics and main controlling factors of intra-platform shoal thin-layer dolomite reservoirs:A case study of Middle Permian Qixia Formation in Gaoshiti-Moxi area of Sichuan Basin,SW China显示文摘Based on the study of the distribution of intra-platform shoals and the characteristics of dolomite reservoirs in the Middle Permian Qixia Formation in the Gaoshiti–Moxi area of the Sichuan Basin,SW China,the controlling factors of reservoir development were analyzed,and the formation model of“intra-platform shoal thin-layer dolomite reservoir”was established.The Qixia Formation is a regressive cycle from bottom to top,in which the first member(Qi1 Member)develops low-energy open sea microfacies,and the second member(Qi2 Member)evolves into intra-platform shoal and inter-shoal sea with decreases in sea level.The intra-platform shoal is mainly distributed near the top of two secondary shallowing cycles of the Qi2 Member.The most important reservoir rock of the Qixia Formation is thin-layer fractured-vuggy dolomite,followed by vuggy dolomite.The semi-filled saddle dolomite is common in fracture-vug,and intercrystalline pores and residual dissolution pores combined with fractures to form the effective pore-fracture network.Based on the coupling analysis of sedimentary and diagenesis characteristics,the reservoir formation model of“pre-depositional micro-paleogeomorphology controlling shoal,sedimentary shoal controlling dolomite,penecontemporaneous dolomite benefiting preservation of pores,and late hydrothermal action effectively improving reservoir quality”was systematically established.The“first-order high zone”micro-paleogeomorphology before the deposition of the Qixia Formation controlled the development of large area of intra-platform shoals in Gaoshiti area during the deposition of the Qi2 Member.Shoal facies is the basic condition of early dolomitization,and the distribution range of intra-platform shoal and dolomite reservoir is highly consistent.The grain limestone of shoal facies is transformed by two stages of dolomitization.The penecontemporaneous dolomitization is conducive to the preservation of primary pores and secondary dissolved pores.The burial hydrothermal fluid enters the early dolomite body along the fractures associated with the Emeishan basalt event,makes it recrystallized into medium–coarse crystal dolomite.With the intercrystalline pores and the residual vugs after the hydrothermal dissolution along the fractures,the high-quality intra-platform shoal-type thin-layer dolomite reservoirs are formed.The establishment of this reservoir formation model can provide important theoretical support for the sustainable development of Permian gas reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin.HE Jiang LIAN Zhihua LUO Wenjun ZHOU Hui XU Huilin HE Puwei Yang Yi LAN Xuemei 2024Petroleum Exploration and Development2024,51,1:0
3Carbon productivity convergence club and its initial conditions: China's construction industry显示文摘A three-stage method is proposed to study the convergence clubs for the dynamic total factor carbon productivity (DCP) and the initial conditions. The first stage is to measure the DCP that reflects the initial difference. The second stage is to identify the convergence club of DCP. The last stage is to examine the initial factors that may affect the formation of the convergence club. Construction industry data from 30 provinces in China's Mainland from 2005 to 2016 were adopted to conduct an empirical study. The empirical results showed that (1) the arithmetic mean value of China’s provincial DCP showed an upward trend and the standard deviation showed an expanding trend.(2) There are five convergence clubs, but 13 provinces failed to converge to any club.(3) The higher the degree of construction industry marketization in 2005, the greater the probability that the provinces belong to a club with higher DCP. To improve the DCP, the effective diffusion of low-carbon construction technologies and the market-oriented reform of state-owned construction companies should be promoted. 4Semaphorin 3A expression in spinal cord injured rats after olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation显示文摘Semaphorin 3A expression is thought to increase following spinal cord injury.The impact of olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation remains unclear.The current study demonstrated that spinal cord hemorrhage,edema,degeneration,necrosis,cyst formation,proliferation of glial cells,regeneration of nerve fibers and various pathological reactions occurred following a simple cross-section of spinal cord injury.Transplantation of olfactory ensheathing cells was found to significantly relieve the pathological reactions in the spinal cord described above,decrease the extent of necrosis in damaged neurons and nerve fibers,and downregulate semaphorin 3A expression in the injured zone.The results confirmed that olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation plays a protective role on the injured spinal cord by reducing the expression of semaphorin 3A.Guoyu Wang Xijing He Puwei Yuan Haopeng Li Rui Chang 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,10:0
