| 1 | Extreme learning machines: new trends and applications显示文摘Extreme learning machine(ELM), as a new learning framework, draws increasing attractions in the areas of large-scale computing, high-speed signal processing, artificial intelligence, and so on. ELM aims to break the barriers between the conventional artificial learning techniques and biological learning mechanism and represents a suite of machine learning techniques in which hidden neurons need not to be tuned. ELM theories and algorithms argue that 'random hidden neurons' capture the essence of some brain learning mechanisms as well as the intuitive sense that the efficiency of brain learning need not rely on computing power of neurons.Thus, compared with traditional neural networks and support vector machine, ELM offers significant advantages such as fast learning speed, ease of implementation, and minimal human intervention. Due to its remarkable generalization performance and implementation efficiency, ELM has been applied in various applications. In this paper, we first provide an overview of newly derived ELM theories and approaches. On the other hand,with the ongoing development of multilayer feature representation, some new trends on ELM-based hierarchical learning are discussed. | 6 | A novel temperature-compensation method based on correlation analysis for multi-FOG INS显示文摘Aimed at improving the bias stability of Fiber-Optic Gyroscope(FOG)-based inertial navigation systems in environments of various ambient temperatures,a novel temperaturecompensation method based on a correlation analysis of the same batch of FOGs is proposed.The empirical mode decomposition method was employed to filter the high-frequency noises of the FOGs.Then,the correlation information of the multiple FOGs was used to analyze the feasibility of the method.Eventually,the same residual error of the FOGs was compensated via the simple piecewise linear models.The experimental results indicate that excellent compensation effects for both high-and low-accuracy FOGs are achieved using the proposed method.Specifically,the accuracies of high-accuracy FOGs are improved by approximately 33.9%,20%,and 31.2%,while those of low-accuracy FOGs are improved by approximately 39.1%,20.8%,and 26.1%.The method exhibits the merits of simplicity,validity,and stability,and thus is expected to be widely used in engineering applications. | Longjie TIAN Yanxiong NIU Chenwei HUANG Haoyang LI Yang PANG Yanqiang YANG | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,6: | 0 |

| 10 | A novel structural modeling and analysis of VLSI interconnect with an RLC tree network system using a BG/SEBD approach显示文摘A practical and effective novel graphical structural modeling and analysis approach is presented.This approach is used for solving the state interactions modeling problem caused by the model approximations in VLSI interconnect for RLC tree network systems.The bond graph (BG) energy model with a simulink energy-based block diagram (SEBD) algorithm is developed.The dynamic behaviors of an example of VLSI interconnect with a 20th-order RLC tree are presented.Methods of sequent structuring and the delineation of dynamic interactions can be provided for users applying the BG/SEBD algorithms in the development of structural models.It is shown that the new BG/SEBD structural modeling approach requires neither mathematical higher-order reduction nor physically based model reduction.Therefore,useful information can be extracted from the BG/SEBD representation of physical RLC tree network systems.Both time-domain and frequency-domain simulation results are applied to analyze the dynamic response of energy-storing elements using BG/SEBD algorithm combined with Matlab/Simulink software.Finally,a causal analysis of the system zeros plot from the shortest causal path method is proposed,to predict the dynamic response of energy-storing elements and the system performance for design and verification purposes.The dynamic response outputs from different node points were revealed,and the obtained physical information is significant which suggests feasible directions for design (re-design) improvement toward better overall system performance. | CHANG RueyFong KAO WenShiow CHANG ChenWei TSENG KuoHsiung HUANG ShihYing | 2011 | Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,9: | 0 |
