| 1 | Preparation and characterization of visible-light-active nitrogen-doped TiO_2 photocatalyst显示文摘A visible-light photocatalyst was prepared by calcination of the hydrolysis product of Ti(SO4)2 with ammonia as precipitator. The color of this photocatalyst was vivid yellow. It could absorb light under 550 nm wavelength. The crystal structure of anatase was characterized by XRD. The structure analysis result of X-ray fluorescence(XRF) shows that doped-nitrogen was presented in the sample. The photocatalytic activities were evaluated using methyl orange and phenol as model pollutants. The photocatalytic activities of samples were increasing gradually with calcination temperature from 400℃ to 700℃ under UV irradiation. It can be seen that the degradation of methyl orange follows zero-order kinetics. However, the calcination temperatures have no significant influence on the degradation of phenol under sunlight. | 2 | EFFECT OF AGING ON INTERNAL FRICTION,ELASTIC MODULUS AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF TERNARY Mn-Cu-Al ALLOYS显示文摘Internal friction and elastic modulus of ternary Mn-Cu-Al alloys containing 56—60wt-% Mn,0-3.59 wt-% Al were measured with acoustic frequency,1 kHz,in the tempera-ture range of-150 to 150℃.It was found that when the specimen was aged in the temperaturerange under the spinodal curve within the miscibility gap(400—500℃),the internal fric-tion increases with an increase of the aging time and reaches a maximum value at a certain ag-ing time which is shorter with a higher aging temperature.Two internal friction peaks whichdid not appear before the aging were observed above room temperature after a definite agingtime.These are respectively the martensitic tranformation peak and the relaxation peak orig-inating from the stress-induced movement of the twin boundaries.The former peak shifts to-ward higher temperatures with an increase of the aging time,whereas the relaxation peak ap-pearing at 15℃,is independent of the aging time and temperature.The activation energy as-sociated with the relaxation peak was found to be 0.56 eV which is about the same as that ofthe relaxation peak in binary alloy containing 90 wt-% Mn.It was also found that thehardness,strength and the brittleness of the specimen increase when aged below the spinodalcurve within the miscibility gap.The addition or Al enhances the strength but reduces the in-ternal friction of the specimen.A choice of suitable aging time and temperature can give anoptimum compromise of high strength and high internal friction.Analysis of experimental re-sults suggests that spinodal decomposition leads to Mn-rich zones in the specimen and thuscauses the phase transformation and the change of mechanical properties of the specimen. | YI Huchun GE Tingsui (T.S.Ke) Institute of Solid State Physics,Academia Sinica,Hefei,China GE Tingsui,Professor,Laboratory of Internal Friction and Defects in Solids,Institute of Solid State Physics,Academia Sinica,Hefei,China | 1989 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)1989,2,2: | 1 |

| 11 | Preparation and catalytic properties of ZrO_2-Al_2O_3 composite oxide supported nickel catalysts for methane reforming with carbon dioxide显示文摘ZrO 2-Al 2O 3 composite oxides and supported Ni catalysts were prepared, and characterized by N 2 adsorption /desorption, X-ray diffraction(XRD) an d X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) techniques. The catalytic performance and carbon deposition was also investigated. This mesoporous composite oxide is shown to be a promising catalyst support. An increase in the catalytic activity and stability of methane and carbon dioxide reforming reaction was resulted from the zirconia addition, especially at 5wt% ZrO 2 content. | 12 | Study on Stress-softening Effect in CuZnAl Shape Memory Alloys显示文摘The effect of mechanical cyclings on the stress-strain(S-S) curves was studied systematically using tensile tests over a widetemperature range.Two-stage yielding was observed in the temperature range between M_s and the ultimate temperature to in-duce martensite,denoted by M_d.The first stage was confirmed to be associated with stress-induced martensite(SIM) and the sec-ond stage was associated with the yielding of SIM.When the samples were mechanically cycled between M_s and M_d.astress-softening phenomenon was observed.The cyclings made the martensite amount increase,critical stress σ_c of SIM de-crease according to exponential law,and the entropy(also enthalpy) of the parent to martensite transformation also decrease.Thevariations of SIM relative amount were determined by recording the changes of electrical resistances in the course of tension. | Yi, Huchun Qi, Min Wang, Fengting Yang, Dazhi | 1989 | Rare Metals1989,9,4: | 0 |
