2Separation and recovery of rare earth from waste nickel-metal hydride batteries by phosphate based extraction-precipitation显示文摘A novel type of extraction-precipitation strategy based on phosphate was developed to recover rare earth(RE,i.e.,La,Ce,Nd,and Pr)from waste nickel-metal hydride(NiMH)batteries.This method does not require saponification and organic solvents.The novel phosphates,i.e.,dibenzyl phosphate(DBP),diphenyl phosphate(DPP),triphenyl phosphate(TPP)were studied as extraction-precipitants.DBP has high precipitation efficiencies for RE^(3+),which can reach 97.84%,100%,100%and 99.77%,respectively.In addition,the precipitation efficiencies of Mn^(2+),Co^(2+)and Ni^(2+)are less than 1.75%.DBP-RE has the largest particle size(D10=52.6μm,D50=135.35μm,D90=296.08μm),which is much larger than the precipitations formed by NH_(4)HCO_(3),H_(2)C2O_(4),CaO and MgO.The larger precipitation particle sizes contribute to improving the solid-liquid separation efficiency.With 3 mol/L hydrochloric acid,the stripping efficiency of DBP-RE reaches 98.60%,and the purity of recovered RE is 99.85%.The regenerated DBP can be directly used for the recycling extraction.Therefore,the novel extraction-precipitation strategy is a green and sustainable separation method.Hailan Zhi Shuainan Ni Xiang Su Wenqi Xie Hepeng Zhang Xiaoqi Sun 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,6:0
3Comparative assessment of phenolics,antioxidant and antiproliferative activities between Hippophae rhamnoides ssp.sinensis and H.tibetana leaf in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘Hippophae rhamnoides ssp.sinensis(Rha)and H.tibetana(Tib)are two species of sea buckthorn which distribute in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Our results showed that both sea buckthorn leaf exhibited high total phenolic and flavonoid content,and Rha leaf showed much higher level.In addition,66 phenolic compounds were detected,belonging to classes of benzoic acid derivatives,flavonols,flavanols,flavanones,and so on.Classes of benzoic acid derivatives and flavonols were most abundant,among them ellagic acid and rutin were the most and second abundant phenols.Besides,methyl gallate,2,6-dihydroxybenzoic acid,4-hydroxybenzoic acid,gentisic acid,narcissin,astragalin,nicotiflorin,prunin,procyanidin B3,cyanidin 3-O-rutinoside chloride,delphinidin 3-glucoside,gallocatechin,taxifolin,aromadendrin and trans-3,3′,4′,5,5′,7-Hexahydroxyflavanone were the first time to be identified in SBT leaf.Furthermore,significant free radical scavenging effects of ABTS and DPPH,ferric reducing antioxidant ability,cellular antioxidant properties and anti-proliferation activity against HepG2 cells were observed in the aqueous ethanol extracts of sea buckthorn leaf.While Rha showed stronger inhibitory effects,which might due to the higher content of total phenolic and flavonoid profiles.Our finding clearly supported that Rha leaf as a wild and non-pollution plant could be a better choice as a healthy food resource.Juan Wei Tingting Su Hailan Su Yumei Jiang Jixin Li Yang Bi 2022Food Bioscience2022,46,2:0
