| 6 | Study on lightning protection scheme of multi-terminal MMC-MVDC distribution system显示文摘Based on a±10 kV three-terminal MMC-MVDC(medium voltage DC distribution system based on modular multilevel converter)system,in this study,the authors mainly study on the influencing factors and protection schemes of the lightning intruding overvoltage(including direct lightning and back-flashover lightning).Firstly,a lightning intruding overvoltage simulation model of the MMC-MVDC distribution system using overhead lines is established based on the PSCAD/EMTDC program.The influence of steady-state operating voltage and the number of converter stations on the simulation results are simulated and analysed.Meanwhile,the proper simulation modelling method of the lightning intruding overvoltage for multi-terminal MMC-MVDC system is proposed.Secondly,the lightning intruding overvoltage is simulated when the line is struck by the lightning stroke current that occurs once in 20 years and the different lightning protection schemes are proposed.Finally,based on the lightning impulse withstand voltage,lightning trip-out rate and the cost of the protection schemes,the lightning protection schemes in different scenarios are proposed.The simulation results show that if the cost of the system is prioritised,the protection scheme of increasing the number of parallel stacks of the DL arresters can be selected,and if the power supply reliability of the system is prioritised,the protection scheme of installing the overhead ground wire as well as reducing grounding resistance can be selected. | Yuqun Gao Yongxia Han Fanglei Xiao Changfu Chen Jinghan Zhang Jie Zhang Yaqi Zhang Licheng Li | 2020 | High Voltage2020,5,5: | 1 |

| 8 | Networking for training Level 3/4 biosafety laboratory staff显示文摘Worldwide,public health systems are continually challenged by emerging and re-emerging viruses.It is therefore important that high-containment labs coordinate and communicate globally to share their experiences and lessons to improve their capacity to respond to threats.The National Biosafety(Level 4)Laboratory in Wuhan,CAS,which is the first Level 4 biosafety laboratory(BSL-4)in China,has been certified recently and it is expected to play an important role in the prevention and control of highly infectious agents in future.Trained and experienced staff in such organizations is the most important factor contributing to safety and security.Therefore,it is imperative to develop a standard training program.Accordingly,in the present study,we developed an improved training program and assessment system based on policies and practices developed by BSL-3/4s in other countries.It included the following three components:(1)A flexible modularized theoretical training:This training comprised 14 modularized theoretical topics such that staffs with different backgrounds could take this theoretical training with different topic combinations according to their knowledge and skill levels;(2)A standardized practical training assessment:This comprehensive assessment,which could be used with biosafety laboratory staff before,during,and after training,included standard operation procedures to meet the special requirements of trainees with different scores;and(3)An applicable documentation system:A certification system was established to evaluate the ability of all staff working inside or outside the laboratory,implemented by a special committee.This certification was approved and authorized by the director of the laboratory and was classified into three grades with corresponding minimal requirements.Further,the present study examined the importance of and need for networking for training BSL-3/4 staff.The establishment of rigorous standards for training BSL-3/4 staff will instill confidence in the public,policy makers,and security officials.Additionally,the expanded international network of BSL-3/4s will continue to be operated safely and will pose no risk to scientific staff,local communities,surrounding environment,and host nations.The clarification and coordination of training standards will help develop a highly-qualified biocontainment workforce and will result in a series of programs that will enable scientists to develop measures to deal with existing threat agents and new diseases that emerge. | Yi Huang Jicheng Huang Han Xia Yongxia Shi Haixia Ma Zhiming Yuan | 2019 | Journal of Biosafety and Biosecurity2019,1,1: | 0 |
| 9 | Quality Evaluation of Leontopodium franchetii Beauv. from Different Localities Based on Moisture,Ash and Extract Contents and Thin-layer Chromatography显示文摘[Objectives] The aim was to determine the moisture,ash and extract contents in Leontopodium franchetii Beauv. from different localities. [Methods] The contents of moisture,total ash,acid-insoluble ash and extract in L. franchetii from different localities were determined according to the methods described in Chinese Pharmacopoeia( 2015 Edition). [Results] In the 10 samples,the contents of moisture were all less than or equal to 15. 0%; the contents of total ash were all below 12. 0%; and the contents of acid-insoluble ash were all less than 3. 0%. The contents of water-soluble extract( by cold-soaked extraction method) in the samples were all below 12. 0% except those from Hongyuan Prairie of Sichuan Province and Xinglong Mountain in Lanzhou City,Gansu Province. [Conclusions]The contents of the four indicators measured in this experiment varied by small margins,indicating that the quality was relatively stable. | 10 | Determination and Multidimensional Analysis of 22 Kinds of Inorganic Elements in Leontopodium franchetii Beauv. from Different Production Areas显示文摘[Objectives]To determine the content of inorganic elements in Leontopodium franchetii Beauv. from different production areas, and provide a reference for quality control, safety assessment, and clinical application of L. franchetii Beauv.. [Methods] The contents of Al, B, Ba, Ca, Cd, Cu, Fe, K, Mn, Mo, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Si, Sn, Sr, Ti, V, Zn, Hg, Cr in the sample of L. franchetii Beauv. were determined by the wet digestion and technique of inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry(ICP-OES), and the principal component analysis was carried out for the determination results. [Results] A total of 20 inorganic elements were detected from the samples of L. franchetii Beauv. from different production areas, among which the contents of Ca, Al, P and Fe were higher. There were significant differences among different elements, and samples of different production areas show similar distribution patterns of main elements. Correlation analysis shows that 17 elements had an extremely significant positive correlation and 19 elements had a significant positive correlation. According to the principal component analysis, B, Ca, K, Mn, Mo, Pb, Sn, Sr, Fe, Ni, Ti, V, Zn, Al, and Cd were characteristic inorganic elements of L. franchetii Beauv. [Methods] The DPPH and ABTS^+ scavenging rate and reducing power of L. franchetii Beauv. were detected by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. [Results] The 70% ethanol extract of L. franchetii Beauv. had strong antioxidant capacity, and its antioxidant capacity increased with the increase of mass concentration.
