1Fuzzy Chaos Control for Vehicle Lateral Dynamics Based on Active Suspension System显示文摘The existing research of the active suspension system(ASS) mainly focuses on the different evaluation indexes and control strategies. Among the different components, the nonlinear characteristics of practical systems and control are usually not considered for vehicle lateral dynamics. But the vehicle model has some shortages on tyre model with side-slip angle, road adhesion coefficient, vertical load and velocity. In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic model of lateral system is considered and also the adaptive neural network of tire is introduced. By nonlinear analysis methods, such as the bifurcation diagram and Lyapunov exponent, it has shown that the lateral dynamics exhibits complicated motions with the forward speed. Then, a fuzzy control method is applied to the lateral system aiming to convert chaos into periodic motion using the linear-state feedback of an available lateral force with changing tire load. Finally, the rapid control prototyping is built to conduct the real vehicle test. By comparison of time response diagram, phase portraits and Lyapunov exponents at different work conditions, the results on step input and S-shaped road indicate that the slip angle and yaw velocity of lateral dynamics enter into stable domain and the results of test are consistent to the simulation and verified the correctness of simulation. And the Lyapunov exponents of the closed-loop system are becoming from positive to negative. This research proposes a fuzzy control method which has sufficient suppress chaotic motions as an effective active suspension system.HUANG Chen CHEN Long JIANG Haobin YUAN Chaochun XIA Tian 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,4:5

3Space/Air Covert Communications:Potentials,Scenarios, and Key Technologies显示文摘Space/air communications have been envisioned as an essential part of the next-generation mobile communication networks for providing highquality global connectivity. However, the inherent broadcasting nature of wireless propagation environment and the broad coverage pose severe threats to the protection of private data. Emerging covert communications provides a promising solution to achieve robust communication security. Aiming at facilitating the practical implementation of covert communications in space/air networks, we present a tutorial overview of its potentials, scenarios, and key technologies. Specifically, first, the commonly used covertness constraint model, covert performance metrics, and potential application scenarios are briefly introduced. Then, several efficient methods that introduce uncertainty into the covert system are thoroughly summarized, followed by several critical enabling technologies, including joint resource allocation and deployment/trajectory design, multi-antenna and beamforming techniques, reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS), and artificial intelligence algorithms. Finally, we highlight some open issues for future investigation.Mao Haobin Liu Yanming Zhu Lipeng Mao Tianqi Xiao Zhenyu Zhang Rui Han Zhu Xia Xianggen 2024China Communications2024,21,3:0
4A Deep Learning Application for Building Damage Assessment Using Ultra-High-Resolution Remote Sensing Imagery in Turkey Earthquake显示文摘Rapid building damage assessment following an earthquake is important for humanitarian relief and disaster emergency responses. In February 2023,two magnitude-7.8 earthquakes struck Turkey in quick succession, impacting over 30 major cities across nearly 300 km.A quick and comprehensive understanding of the distribution of building damage is essential for e fficiently deploying rescue forces during critical rescue periods. This article presents the training of a two-stage convolutional neural network called BDANet that integrated image features captured before and after the disaster to evaluate the extent of building damage in Islahiye.Based on high-resolution remote sensing data from WorldView2,BDANet used predisaster imagery to extract building outlines;the image features before and after the disaster were then combined to conduct building damage assessment. We optimized these results to improve the accuracy of building edges and analyzed the damage to each building, and used population distribution information to estimate the population count and urgency of rescue at different disaster levels. The results indicate that the building area in the Islahiye region was 156.92 ha,with an affected area of 26.60 ha.Severely damaged buildings accounted for 15.67%of the total building area in the affected areas.WorldPop population distribution data indicated approximately 253,297,and 1,246 people in the collapsed, severely damaged, and lightly damaged areas, respectively.Accuracy verification showed that the BDANet model exhibited good performance in handling high-resolution images and can be used to directly assess building damage and provide rapid information for rescue operations in future disasters using model weights.Haobin Xia Jianjun Wu Jiaqi Yao Hong Zhu Adu Gong Jianhua Yang Liuru Hu Fan Mo 2023International Journal of Disaster Risk Science2023,14,6:0
