1Enhanced electrocaloric effect at room temperature in Mn^(2+) doped lead-free(BaSr)TiO_(3) ceramics via a direct measurement显示文摘(Ba_(1-x)Sr_(x))(MnyTi1-y)O_(3)(BSMT)ceramics with x=35,40 mol%and y=0,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4,0.5 mol%were prepared using a conventional solid-state reaction approach.The dielectric and ferroelectric properties were characterized using impedance analysis and polarization-electric field(P-E)hysteresis loop measurements,respectively.The adiabatic temperature drop was directly measured using a thermocouple when the applied electric field was removed.The results indicate that high permittivity and low dielectric losses were obtained by doping 0.1-0.4 mol%of manganese ions in(BaSr)TiO_(3)(BST)specimens.A maximum electrocaloric effect(ECE)of 2.75 K in temperature change with electrocaloric strength of 0.55 K·(MV/m)^(-1)was directly obtained at~21℃and 50 kV/cm in Ba_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Mn_(0.001)Ti_(0.999)O_(3) sample,offering a promising ECE material for practical refrigeration devices working at room temperature.Xiang NIU Xiaodong JIAN Xianyi CHEN Haoxuan LI Wei LIANG Yingbang YAO Tao TAO Bo LIANG Sheng-Guo LU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,3:1
2Simulation and experimental study on drag reduction and anti-adhesion of subsoiler with bionic surface显示文摘A new subsoiler with placoid scale microstructure bionic surface was proposed which mimicked shark skin to reduce tillage resistance and soil adhesion during subsoiling cultivation.The contour curves of placoid scale microstructure on shark skin were fitted,and two kinds of bionic subsoiler with continuous and discontinuous microstructures were designed and fabricated,respectively.The effects of different bionic surfaces on tillage resistance were investigated by finite element simulation and experiment.The results indicated that the bionic subsoiler with discontinuous microstructure reduced the horizontal and vertical force by 21.3%and 24.8%,respectively.The subsoiler with discontinuous microstructure surface can prevent the adhesion between the soil and subsoiler surface more efficiently.Jiping Niu Tongyun Luo Jiaqing Xie Haoxuan Cai Zhikang Zhou Jun Chen Shuo Zhang 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,4:1

4Nonlinear proinflammatory effect of short-term PM_(2.5)exposure:A potential role of lipopolysaccharide显示文摘The association between PM_(2.5)(particulate matter≤2.5μm)short-term exposure and its health effect is non-linear from the epidemiological studies.And this nonlinearity is suggested to be related with the PM_(2.5)heterogeneity,however,the underlying biological mechanism is still unclear.Here,a total of 38 PM_(2.5)filters were collected continuously for three weeks in winter Beijing,with the ambient PM_(2.5)varying between 10 and 270μg/m^(3).Human monocytes-derived macrophages(THP-1)were treated with PM_(2.5)water-soluble elutes at10μg/mL to investigate the PM_(2.5)short-term exposure effect from a proinflammatory perspective.The proinflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor(TNF)induced by the PM_(2.5)elutes at equal concentrations were unequal,showing the heterogeneity of PM_(2.5)proinflammatory potentials.Of the various chemical and biological components,lipopolysaccharide(LPS)showed a strong positive association with the TNF heterogeneity.However,some outliers were observed among the TNF-LPS association.Specifically,for PM_(2.5)from relatively clean air episodes,the higher LPS amount corresponded to relatively low TNF levels.And this phenomenon was also observed in the promotion tests by treating macrophages with PM_(2.5)elutes dosed with additional trace LPS.Gene expression analysis indicated the involvement of oxidative-stress related genes in the LPS signaling pathway.Therefore,a potential oxidative-stress-mediated suppression on the PM_(2.5)-borne LPS proinflammatory effect was proposed to be accounted for the outliers.Overall,the results showed the differential role of LPS in the heterogeneity of PM_(2.5)proinflammatory effects from a component-based perspective.Future experimental studies are needed to elucidate the signaling pathway of LPS attached on PM_(2.5)from different air quality episodes.Fangxia Shen Mutong Niu Haoxuan Chen Ting Zhang Jing Li Haijie Tong Yan Wu 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,2:0
