1Warpage and Shrinkage Optimization of Injection-Molded Plastic Spoon Parts for Biodegradable Polymers Using Taguchi, ANOVA and Artificial Neural Network Methods显示文摘In this study, it is attempted to give an insight into the injection processability of three self-prepared polymers from A to Z. This work presents material analysis, injection molding simulation, design of experiments alongside considering all interaction effects of controlling parameters carefully for green biodegradable polymeric systems, including polylactic acid(PLA), polylactic acid-thermoplastic polyurethane(PLA-TPU) and polylactic acid-thermoplastic starch(PLA-TPS). The experiments were carried out using injection molding simulation software Autodesk Moldflow?in order to minimize warpage and volumetric shrinkage for each of the mentioned systems. The analysis was conducted by changing five significant processing parameters, including coolant temperature, packing time, packing pressure, mold temperature and melt temperature. Taguchi's L27(35) orthogonal array was selected as an efficient method for design of simulations in order to consider the interaction effects of the parameters and reduce spurious simulations. Meanwhile, artificial neural network(ANN) was also used for pattern recognition and optimization through modifying the processing conditions. The Taguchi coupled analysis of variance(ANOVA) and ANN analysis resulted in definition of optimum levels for each factor by two completely different methods. According to the results, melting temperature, coolant temperature and packing time had significant influence on the shrinkage and warpage. The ANN optimal level selection for minimization of shrinkage and/or warpage is in good agreement with ANOVA optimal level selection results. 2孔隙结构对砾岩油藏聚表二元复合驱提高采收率的影响显示文摘为明确聚表二元复合体系对不同模态岩心的驱替特征和剩余油动用规律,选用3种典型孔隙结构的天然岩心,分别从孔隙、岩心和矿场3个尺度研究孔隙结构差异对二元复合驱提高采收率的影响:①利用核磁共振原位驱替实验研究水驱、二元复合驱过程中各种孔隙结构岩心中的剩余油变化规律;②采用全直径岩心驱替实验研究不同孔隙结构岩心的驱替特征与驱替效果;③利用矿场开发数据对比双模态砂岩和复模态砾岩储集层二元复合驱开发特征的差异。研究结果表明:孔隙结构越复杂,水驱效果越差,二元复合驱提高采收率幅度越大;二元复合驱可以增加对单模态和双模态岩心中1~3μm孔隙区间内剩余油的动用程度,但复模态岩心仍以动用孔隙半径大于3μm孔隙区间内的剩余油为主;全直径岩心驱替实验表明二元复合驱体系的注入可大幅提升复模态岩心的驱替压力,同时乳化岩心中的剩余油,有效扩大波及体积,进而大幅提高采收率;与砂岩油藏相比,复模态孔隙结构的砾岩油藏更容易发生窜流,实施化学驱提高采收率,必须解决宏观高渗通道的封堵与微观孔隙结构差异导致的波及效率等问题。刘哲宇 李宜强 冷润熙 刘振平 陈鑫 HEJAZI Hossein 2020石油勘探与开发2020,47,1:12
3微流控模型在油气田开发中的应用显示文摘在过去的30年内,微流控技术在包括疾病诊断、药物筛选、细胞分析、材料化学、环境监测、食品安全、航空航天等在内的各个领域开展应用,取得了丰硕的成果。在油气田开发领域,1952年俄克拉何马州立大学Alfred Chatenever和宾夕法尼亚州立大学John C.Calhoun, JR最先利用微观模型研究了剩余油的分布规律。本文介绍了1952年至今,微流控模型在油气田开发领域的发展与应用现状。目前,针对不同的研究目标,可制造不同材质的模型。模型中的流体分布情况、流动路径分析可用共聚焦显微镜、PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry,图像粒子测速系统)、CCD相机(Charge Coupled Device Camera,电荷耦合摄像机)等设备来观察和实现。微流控技术所带来的精准、定量、快速、安全的可视化研究将在油气田开发领域的油气水在裂缝、微尺度基质、纳尺度基质中的渗流规律和化学驱提高采收率等方面发挥出无可替代的作用。李俊键 苏航 姜汉桥 于馥玮 梁天博 赵玉云 高亚军 HOSSEIN Hejazi 2018石油科学通报2018,3,3:11
4Development of a new connection for precast concrete walls subjected to cyclic loading显示文摘The Industrialized Building System(IBS) was recently introduced to minimize the time and cost of project construction.Accordingly, ensuring the integration of the connection of precast components in IBS structures is an important factor that ensures stability of buildings subjected to dynamic loads from earthquakes, vehicles, and machineries.However, structural engineers still lack knowledge on the proper connection and detailed joints of IBS structure construction.Therefore, this study proposes a special precast concrete wall-to-wall connection system for dynamic loads that resists multidirectional imposed loads and reduces vibration effects(PI2014701723).This system is designed to connect two adjacent precast wall panels by using two steel U-shaped channels(i.e., male and female joints).During casting, each joint is adapted for incorporation into a respective wall panel after considering the following conditions: one side of the steel channel opens into the thickness face of the panel; a U-shaped rubber is implemented between the two channels to dissipate the vibration effect; and bolts and nuts are used to create an extension between the two U-shaped male and female steel channels.The developed finite element model of the precast wall is subjected to cyclic loads to evaluate the performance of the proposed connection during an imposed dynamic load.Connection performance is then compared with conventional connections based on the energy dissipation, stress, deformation, and concrete damage in the plastic range.The proposed precast connection is capable of exceeding the energy absorption of precast walls subjected to dynamic load, thereby improving its resistance behavior in all principal directions.Ramin Vaghei Farzad Hejazi Hafez Taheri Mohd Saleh Jaafar Farah Nora Aznieta Abdul Aziz 2017Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2017,16,1:8
5Enhanced removal of nitrate and phosphate from wastewater by Chlorella vulgaris: Multi-objective optimization and CFD simulation显示文摘To enhance the efficiency of wastewater biotreatment with microalgae, the effects of physical parameters need to be investigated and optimized. In this regard, the individual and interactive effects of temperature, p H and aeration rate on the performance of biological removal of nitrate and phosphate by Chlorella vulgaris were studied by response surface methodology(RSM). Furthermore, a multi-objective optimization technique was applied to the response equations to simultaneously find optimal combinations of input parameters capable of removing the highest possible amount of nitrate and phosphate. The optimal calculated values were temperature of 26.3 °C, pH of 8 and aeration rate of 4.7 L·min^(-1). Interestingly, under the optimum condition, approximately 85% of total nitrate and 77% of whole phosphate were removed after 48 h and 24 h, respectively, which were in excellent agreement with the predicted values. Finally, the effect of baffle on mixing performance and, as a result, on bioremoval efficiency was investigated in Stirred Tank Photobioreactor(STP) by means of Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD). Flow behavior indicated substantial enhancement in mixing performance when the baffle was inserted into the tank. Obtained simulation results were validated experimentally. 6Comparison of optical detection system,PVDF detection system,and PVDF needle hydrophone for optoacoustic tomography显示文摘Optoacoustic tomography (PAT) is a two-dimensional medical imaging method that has the advantage ofoptical contrast and resolution of ultrasonic waves. The detection systems with a high sensitivity can beused for detecting small tumors, located deeply in human tissues, such as the breast. In this study, thesensitivity of existing ultrasonic detection systems has been compared experimentally with that by usingthermoelastic waves as a broadband ultrasonic source. For the comparison, an optical stress transducer(OST), a polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) sheet and a calibrated PVDF needle hydrophone were used.To ensure all of the detection systems interrogated by the same ultrasonic field, a small optical instrumentthat fixed the generating laser head was constructed. The sensitivity was evaluated by measuring signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) and noise equivalent pressures (NEPs). The PVDF system, with a 4-kPa NEP hasa 22 dB better performance than the OST. The OST showed nearly the same sensitivity as the hydrophonefor detecting ultrasound waves at a 1-cm distance in water. 9A Cu-Cr alloy with nano and microscale Cr particles produced in a water-cooled copper mold显示文摘Microstructures have profound effects on the hardness and strength of Cu-Cr alloys. The microstructures of a Cu-Cr alloy cast in a water-cooled copper mold were studied in the present work. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) results show that there are the copper matrix saturated with chromium, spherical precipitates of chromium separated from liquid phase during cooling before the initiation of so- lidification, and a eutectic phase in grain boundary areas. To investigate the effect of age-hardening treatment on the microstructures and properties of the material, some samples were subsequently age-hardened in a salt bath and investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that coherent precipitates with the diameter of 11 nm are detectable in the samples before and after the age-hardening stage. 10Mechanochemical leaching of chalcopyrite concentrate by sulfuric acid显示文摘This study aimed to introduce a new cost-effective methodology for increasing the leaching efficiency of chalcopyrite concentrates at ambient temperature and pressure. Mechanical activation was employed during the leaching(mechanochemical leaching) of chalcopyrite concentrates in a sulfuric acid medium at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. High energy ball milling process was used during the leaching to provide the mechanochemical leaching condition, and atomic absorption spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry were used to determine the leaching behavior of chalcopyrite. Moreover, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to characterize the chalcopyrite powder before and after leaching. The results demonstrated that mechanochemical leaching was effective; the extraction of copper increased significantly and continuously. Although the leaching efficiency of chalcopyrite was very low at ambient temperature, the percentages of copper dissolved in the presence of hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) and ferric sulfate(Fe_2(SO_4)_3) after 20 h of mechanochemical leaching reached 28% and 33%, respectively. 12Sciatic nerve injury alters the spatial arrangement of neurons and glial cells in the anterior horn of the spinal cord显示文摘The spatial arrangement of the cell is important and considered as underlying mechanism for mathematical modeling of cell to cell interaction.The ability of cells to take on the characteristics of other cells in an organism,it is important to understand the dynamical behavior of the cells.This method implements experimental parameters of the cell-cell interaction into the mathematical simulation of cell arrangement.The purpose of this research was to explore the three-dimensional spatial distribution of anterior horn cells in the rat spinal cord to examine differences after sciatic nerve injury.Sixteen Sprague-Dawley male rats were assigned to control and axotomy groups.Twelve weeks after surgery,the anterior horn was removed for first-and second-order stereological studies.Second-order stereological techniques were applied to estimate the pair correlation and cross-correlation functions using a dipole probe superimposed onto the spinal cord sections.The findings revealed 7% and 36% reductions in the mean volume and total number of motoneurons,respectively,and a25% increase in the neuroglial cell number in the axotomized rats compared to the control rats.In contrast,the anterior horn volume remained unchanged.The results also indicated a broader gap in the pair correlation curve for the motoneurons and neuroglial cells in the axotomized rats compared to the control rats.This finding shows a negative correlation for the distribution of motoneurons and neuroglial cells in the axotomized rats.The cross-correlation curve shows a negative correlation between the motoneurons and neuroglial cells in the axotomized rats.These findings suggest that cellular structural and functional changes after sciatic nerve injury lead to the alterations in the spatial arrangement of motoneurons and neuroglial cells,finally affecting the normal function of the central nervous system.The experimental protocol was reviewed and approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences(approval No.IR.SBMU.MSP.REC1395.375) on October 17,2016.Ali Rashidiani-Rashidabadi Mohammad Hassan Heidari Ensieh Sajadi Fatemeh Hejazi Fatemeh Fadaei Fathabady Yousef Sadeghi Abbas Aliaghaei Amir Raoofi Mohammad-Amin Abdollahifar Reza Mastery Farahni 2019Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,10:2
