| 1 | Sustainable recycling of titanium from TiO_(2) in spent SCR denitration catalyst via molten salt electrolysis显示文摘Spent catalyst used for denitration by selective catalytic reduction(spent SCR denitration catalysts) is one of the important urban mines due to the high content of TiO_(2)(~85 wt%) and the massive accumulation amount(over 100,000 tons),therefore,value-added reutilization of titanium in spent SCR catalysts is considerably meaningful.In this paper,a novel method is proposed for converting the titanium oxide in spent SCR denitration catalysts to metallic titanium.Specifically,titanium dioxide(TiO_(2)) was firstly obtained from spent SCR denitration catalysts after removing the impurities by hydrometallurgy process.Then,TiO_(2) is converted to Ti_(2)CO by carbothermic reduction method,and Ti_(2)CO was further purified by oleic acid capture.Finally,by utilizing the as-prepared Ti_(2)CO as the consumable anode in the NaCl-KCl molten salt,high-purity metallic titanium was deposited at cathode,all confirming the feasibility for the conversion of low-grade TiO_(2) in the spent catalysts,from 60 wt% to high-purity metallic Ti(99.5 wt%), furthermore,the energy consumption of this process is 3950 kWh tonne-1 Ti,which is lower than that of most traditional titanium metallurgy methods.The method herein can provide new insights for the value-added recycling of titanium resources in urban mines. | Xuyang Bai Xiaojia Shang Heli Wan Yusi Che Bin Yang Jilin He Jianxun Song | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7: | 3 |
| 2 | Current status and perspectives of conversion therapy for advanced gastric cancer显示文摘The concept and strategy of advanced gastric cancer treatment have gradually undergone profound changes with the in-depth understanding of the biology and heterogeneous characteristics of gastric cancer.Moreover,the development and application of new anticancer drugs,including chemotherapy drugs,molecularly targeted drugs and immunotherapy drugs for advanced gastric cancer are reported.The connotation of conversion therapy refers to the unresectable or borderline resectable tumors for surgical technical and/or oncological reasons,after active and effective chemotherapy and other comprehensive treatment,the primary gastric lesions can be reduced to a lower stage,while the metastatic lesions can be effectively controlled,to achieve R0 resection and improve the long-term survival rate.Current promising research results of conversion therapy are mostly from single-arm phase II clinical studies with small samples or retrospective studies.Conversion therapy still faces many challenges,including limited diagnostic and assessment methods,insufficient evidence of highly effective treatment regimens,difficulty in clarifying surgical indications,etc.Therefore,the integrated conversion therapy for advanced gastric cancer needs to be carried out with the close cooperation of a multidisciplinary team.Prospective,multi-center randomized controlled trial studies should be conducted in the future,and precision medicine such as molecular biology should be combined to provide better anticancer drug regimens and higher-level clinical evidence for conversion therapy of advanced gastric cancer. | Heli Yang Ke Ji Jiafu Ji | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,2: | 2 |

| 5 | Response of Tomato Sugar and Acid Metabolism and Fruit Quality under Different High Temperature and Relative Humidity Conditions显示文摘The combined stress of high temperature and high relative air humidity is one of the most serious agrometeorological disasters that restricts the production capacity of protected agriculture.However,there is little information about the precise interaction between them on tomato fruit quality.The objectives of this study were to explore the effects of the combined stress of high temperature and relative humidity on the sugar and acid metabolism and fruit quality of tomato fruits,and to determine the best relative air humidity for fruit quality under high temperature environments.Four temperature treatments(32℃,35℃,38℃,41℃),three relative air humidity(50%,70%,90%)and four duration(3,6,9,12 d)orthogonal experiments were conducted,with 28℃,50%as control.The results showed that under high temperature and relative air humidity,the activity of sucrose metabolizing enzymes in young tomato fruits changed,which reduced fruits soluble sugar content;in addition,enzyme activities involved phosphopyruvate carboxylase(PEPC),mitochondria aconitase(MDH)and citrate synthetase(CS)increased which increased the content of organic acids(especially malic acid).Eventually,vitamin C,total sugar and sugar-acid ratio decreased significantly,while the titratable acid increased,resulting in a decrease in fruit flavor quality and nutritional quality in ripe fruit.Specifically,a temperature of 32℃and a relative air humidity of 70%were the best cultivation conditions for tomato reproductive growth period under high temperature.Our results indicating that fruit quality reduced under high temperature at the flowering stage,while increasing the relative air humidity to 70%could alleviate this negative effect.Our results are benefit to better understand the interaction between microclimate parameters under specific climatic conditions in the greenhouse environment and their impact on tomato flavor quality. | Yanjiao Zheng Zaiqiang Yang Tingting Wei Heli Zhao | 2022 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,9: | 1 |

| 9 | Predictive value of hypothermic machine perfusion parameters combined perfusate biomarkers in deceased donor kidney transplantation显示文摘Background:Delayed graft function(DGF)is the main cause of renal function failure after kidney transplantation.This study aims at investigating the value of hypothermic machine perfusion(HMP)parameters combined with perfusate biomarkers on predicting DGF and the time of renal function recovery after deceased donor(DD)kidney transplantation.Methods:HMP parameters,perfusate biomarkers and baseline characteristics of 113 DD kidney transplantations from January 1,2019 to August 31,2019 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University were retrospectively analyzed using univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results:In this study,the DGF incidence was 17.7%(20/113);The multivariate logistic regression results showed that terminal resistance(OR:1.879,95%CI 1.145-3.56)and glutathione S-transferase(GST)(OR=1.62,95%CI 1.23-2.46)were risk factors for DGF;The Cox model analysis indicated that terminal resistance was an independent hazard factor for renal function recovery time(HR=0.823,95%CI 0.735-0.981).The model combining terminal resistance and GST(AUC=0.888,95%CI:0.842-0.933)significantly improved the DGF predictability compared with the use of terminal resistance(AUC=0.756,95%CI 0.693-0.818)or GST alone(AUC=0.729,95%CI 0.591-0.806).Conclusion:According to the factors analyzed in this study,the combination of HMP parameters and perfusate biomarkers displays a potent DGF predictive value. | Yuxi Qiao Chenguang Ding Yang Li Xiaohui Tian Puxun Tian Xiaoming Ding Heli Xiang Jin Zheng Wujun Xue | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,2: | 1 |

| 14 | Integrated microalgae culture with food processing waste for wastewater remediation and enhanced biomass productivity显示文摘Waste generation from food manufacturing facilities poses a serious hazard like environmental degradation, water pollution, and land pollution due to its high nutrient composition. Specifically, solid waste(powder) disposal requires additional energy sources in terms of scientific treatment, structured collection, and disposal packaging according to the safety regulation. Thus, this research discusses the viewpoint of integrating food processing waste as an organic carbon source with BG-11 medium for Chlorella vulgaris(FSP-E) growth. The food processing waste powders investigated in this study were obtained from milk, and biscuit manufacturing facilities. The culture medium was modified by combining both BG-11 and food processing waste powders to identify the optimal algal growth and biochemical content.Compared to the microalgae grown in BG-11 alone(IBG), the combination of biscuit waste and IBG produced higher biomass concentration(44%), with increased lipid(11%), protein(20%), and carbohydrate(57%) contents. Chlorella vulgaris was able to uptake nutrients from the culture medium with combination of food processing waste and IBG thus enhancing its growth. | 17 | Double-tract reconstruction is superior to esophagogastrostomy in controlling reflux esophagitis and enhancing quality of life after proximal gastrectomy:Results from a prospective randomized controlled clinical trial in China显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to prospectively compare double-tract reconstruction(DTR)and esophagogastrostomy(EG)after proximal gastrectomy(PG)regarding the incidence of reflux esophagitis,quality of life(QOL),nutritional status and surgical safety.Methods:This study was a randomized controlled trial.Patients eligible for PG were enrolled and randomly assigned to the EG group and DTR group.The characteristics of patients,parameters for surgical safety,incidence of reflux esophagitis,nutrition status and QOL were collected and compared between the two groups.Univariate analysis and multivariate analysis were performed to determine the significant factors affecting the incidence of reflux esophagitis after PG.Results:Thirty-seven patients of the EG group and 36 patients of the DTR group were enrolled.The incidence of reflux esophagitis was significantly lower in the DTR group than in the EG group(8.3%vs.32.4%,P=0.019).The DTR group demonstrated a more favorable QOL than the EG group after PG.The nutritional status was balanced within the EG group and the DTR group.The operation time was longer in the DTR group than in the EG group(191 min vs.221 min,P=0.001),while surgical safety was similar in the two groups.Conclusions:Our research demonstrated that DTR is superior to EG after PG in terms of the incidence of reflux esophagitis and provides a more satisfactory QOL without increasing surgical complications or sacrificing nutritional status. | Yinan Zhang Hongtao Zhang Yan Yan Ke Ji Ziyu Jia Heli Yang Biao Fan Anqiang Wang Xiaojiang Wu Ji Zhang Jiafu Ji Xin Ji Zhaode Bu | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2023,35,6: | 0 |
| 18 | Characteristics of lymph node stations/basins metastasis and construction and validation of a preoperative combination prediction model that accurately excludes lymph node metastasis in early gastric cancer显示文摘Objective:To explore the candidate indications for function-preserving curative gastrectomy and sentinel lymph node navigation surgery in early gastric cancer(EGC).Methods:The clinicopathological data of 561 patients with EGC who underwent radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer at Peking University Cancer Hospital from November 2010 to November 2020 with postoperative pathological stage pT1 and complete examination data,were collected.Pearson’s Chi-square test was used and binary logistic regression was employed for univariate and multivariate analyses.Combined analysis of multiple risk and protective factors for lymph node metastasis(LNM)of EGC was performed.A negative predictive value(NPV)combination model was built and validated.Results:LNM occurred in 85 of 561 patients with EGC,and the LNM rate was 15.15%.NPV for LNM reached 100%based on three characteristics,including ulcer-free,moderately well differentiation and patient<65years old or tumor located at the proximal 1/3 of the stomach.Regarding lymphatic basin metastasis,multivariate analysis showed that the metastatic proportion of the left gastric artery lymphatic basin was significantly higher in male patients compared with female patients(65.96%vs.38.89%,P<0.05).The proportion of right gastroepiploic artery lymphatic basin metastasis in patients with a maximum tumor diameter>2 cm was significantly greater than that noted in patients with a maximum tumor diameter≤2 cm(60.78%vs.28.13%,P<0.05).Conclusions:Characteristics of lymph node stations/basins metastasis will facilitate precise lymph node resection.The NPV for LNM reaches 100%based on the following two conditions:young and middle-aged EGC patients,well-differentiated tumors,and without ulcers;or well-differentiated tumors,without ulcers,and tumors located in the proximal stomach.These findings can be used as the recommended indications for functionpreserving curative gastrectomy and sentinel lymph node navigation surgery. | Mengyu Feng Jingtao Wei Ke Ji Yinan Zhang Heli Yang Xiaojiang Wu Ji Zhang Zhaode Bu Jiafu Ji | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,5: | 0 |
