1Nontrivial topological states in the tantalum dipnictides TaX_(2)(X = As, P)显示文摘The intriguing quasiparticles in solids,known as Dirac,Weyl,and Majorana fermions,etc.with properties akin to those theoretically predicted but never realized in high-energy physics,have excited intensive research activities in recent years.The transition metal dipnictides are attractive because of their extremely large magnetoresistance that is usually attributed to the carrier compensation effect.We briefly review herein the crystal growth,magneto-transport measurements,and theoretical studies of tantalum dipnictides TaAs_(2) and TaP_(2),with the emphasis being put on discussion of the nontrivial topological states in both materials.The analysis of quantum oscillations of the magnetoresistance unveils nonzero Berry phase.The chiral negative longitudinal magnetoresistance further points to possible Weyl state,which was recently theoretically sug-gested as the result of the magnetic field-induced Zeeman splitting effect no matter how large the field is.The analysis of these intriguing behaviors could brush up our understanding about the family of materials and would be valuable for future work on investigating the magnetic field-induced topological phase transition in such semimetals.Xiao‑Lei Liu Hong‑Yuan Wang Hao Su Zhen‑Hai Yu Yan‑Feng Guo 2020Tungsten2020,2,3:0
2Tackling barriers to scale up human papillomavirus vaccination in China:progress and the way forward显示文摘The human papillomavirus(HPV)vaccine is the first vaccine developed specifically targeting the prevention of cervical cancer.For more than 15 years,China has expedited a series of efforts on research and development of the domestically manufactured HPV vaccines,producing local population-based evidence,promoting free HPV vaccination from pilots,and launching action plans to tackle barriers in the scale-up of HPV vaccination.To further roll out the HPV vaccination program in China,several challenges should be addressed to support the steps forward.The availability of more locally manufactured HPV vaccines,pricing negotiation and local evidence supporting the efficacy of one-dose schedule would greatly alleviate the continued supply and financial constraints in China.Meanwhile,more attention should be paid to girls living in low-resource areas and males to ensure equal access to the HPV vaccination.Furthermore,linkage to secondary prevention and further real-world monitoring and evaluation are warranted to inform effective cervical cancer prevention strategies in the post-vaccine era.Xue‑Lian Zhao Shang‑Ying Hu Jia‑Wei Hu Hong‑Hao Wang Tian‑Meng Wen Yu‑Shu Feng You‑Lin Qiao Fang‑Hui Zhao Yong Zhang 2023Infectious Diseases of Poverty2023,12,5:0
3Serum anti‑blood type IgG/IgM binding and cytotoxicity to pig PBMC and RBC显示文摘Objective: TO investigate the killing differences of human blood group antibodies IgG and IgM on PBMC and RBC in peripheral blood of genetically modified pigs, and provide theoretical basis for the selection of pig blood group for clinical application of porcine xenotransplantation. Methods: Serum samples were collected from 20 healthy subjects, 20 patients with end‑stage renal disease and 20 brain dead organ donors, and divided into 4 groups on the basis of ABO blood group (A: n=20;B: n=17;AB: n=7;O: n=16). Flow cytometry was used to detect antibody binding or complement dependent cytotoxicity test (CDC) between human serum and O blood group Wild‑type (WT), α1, 3‑galactosyltransferase gene‑knockout(GTKO), cytidine monophosphate‑N‑acetylneuraminic acid hydroxylase gene‑knockout (GTKO/β4GalNT2KO), β‑1, 4N‑acetylgalactosaminyltransferase gene‑knockout(GTKO/CMAHKO) and mononuclear cells (PBMC) and red blood cells (RBC) of Triple knockout (TKO/hCD55) porcine peripheral blood, respectively. Results: There was no significant difference in binding and killing of human serum antibodies with blood group A, B, AB and O on PBMC of WT pigs, GTKO pigs, GTKO/β4GalNT2KO pigs, GTKO/CMAHKO pigs and TKO/hCD55 pigs, respectively. There was no significant difference in RBC binding with RBC of WT pig, GTKO pig, GTKO/β4GalNT2KO pig, GTKO/CMAHKO pig and TKO/hCD55 pig.
