2Xinjiangoxylon Gen.Nov.,a New Gymnosperm from the Latest Permian of China显示文摘Following the greatest known end-Permian mass extinction plants have low diversity.Lycopsids and conifers dominated on land.A new gymnosperm Xinjiangoxylon gen.nov.is proposed based on a woody stem specimen collected from the Upper Permian(latest,Changhsingian) Upper Guodikeng Formation of the Taoshuyuan section,Turpan,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Northwest China.The decorticated stem is characterized by a complex pith,endarch primary xylem and a thick secondary xylem cylinder.Numerous petrified woods were found in the Changhsingian at this section.However,there are rare wood fossils in the Early Triassic.The abrupt decrease of fossil woods worldwide relates to the crisis at the end of the Permian.Xinjiangoxylon turpanense gen et.sp.nov.appears to represents one gymnosperm that existed in the latest Permian.SHI Xiao YU Jianxin LI Hui CHI Hongfei ZHANG Wu 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,5:2
3Optimal Control Virtual Inertia of Optical Storage Microgrid Based on Improved Sailfish Algorithm显示文摘The optical storage microgrid system composed of power electronic converters is a small inertia system.Load switching and power supply intermittent will affect the stability of the direct current(DC)bus voltage.Aiming at this problem,a virtual inertia optimal control strategy applied to optical storage microgrid is proposed.Firstly,a small signal model of the system is established to theoretically analyze the influence of virtual inertia and damping coefficient on DC bus voltage and to obtain the constraint range of virtual inertia and damping coefficient;Secondly,aiming at the defect that the Sailfish optimization algorithm is easy to premature maturity,a Sailfish optimization algorithm based on the leak-proof net and the cross-mutation propagation mechanism is proposed;Finally,the virtual inertia and damping coefficient of the system are optimized by the improved Sailfish algorithm to obtain the best control parameters.The simulation results in Matlab/Simulink show that the virtual inertia control optimized by the improved Sailfish algorithm improves the system inertia as well as the dynamic response and robustness of the DC bus voltage.LIAO Hongfei ZENG Guohui HUANG Bo MA Chi CHEN Gong ZHAO Jinbin 2022Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2022,27,3:1
4Smartphone-based rapid and visual pathological diagnosis of glioma using perovskite probes显示文摘Histopathology plays a great role in diagnosing various diseases,which is considered as a golden standard for tumor identification.The tissue constituents must be stained by visible labels for microscopic analysis by medical experts.However,this process is time-consuming,labor-intensive,and expensive,which requires rapid pathological approaches for diagnosis in the operating room.Here,we present an easy-to-process and high-performance perovskite biological probes for rapid and visual pathological diagnosis of glioma.Perovskite quantum dots can be encapsulated by the copolymer into nanocrystals(PNCs)with a diameter of 100 nm,which is modified with chlorotoxin to achieve the specific recognition of glioma.Benefiting from the super photoluminescence quantum yield(above 93%)of EVA@PNCs aqueous solution,the glioma can be clearly imaged and captured via a smartphone under the excitation of a handheld UV lamp.To demonstrate the visualization and efficiency of PNC probes,different malignant grades of brain tumor sections can be distinguished in no more than 5 min.This strategy provides a general auxiliary diagnosis platform for achieving the histopathology analysis near the operating bed,which is currently not feasible with standard histochemical staining methods.Dongdong Wu Jimei Chi Junzhen Fan Lijun Cheng Xuning Wang Xu Yang Meng Zhang Zewei Lian Zengqi Huang Huadong Wang Hongfei Xie Sisi Chen Qi Pan Zeying Zhang Bingda Chen Guochen Sun Bainan Xu Meng Su Yanlin Song 2023InfoMat2023,5,11:0

6Permineralized Calamitean Axes from the Upper Permian of Xinjiang, Northwest China and Its Paleoecological Implication显示文摘Two anatomically preserved calamitean axes are reported for the first time from the Late Permian Wutonggou Formation in the southern Bogda Mountains, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Northwest China. Based on the anatomical features, these axes are assigned to Arthropitys. A new species Arthropitys taoshuyuanensis sp. nov. is established. A. taoshuyuanensis sp. nov. possesses a large pith and comprises large pith cavity and a narrow perimedullary zone at the nodes and diaphragms at the internodes. Carinal canals are circular and surrounded by a single layer of metaxylem tracheids. Secondary xylem is divided into interfascicular rays and fascicular wedges. Interfascicular rays are initially four to five cells wide and taper abruptly centrifugally. Fascicular wedge consists of thick-walled tracheids and thin-walled fascicular ray cells. Radial tracheid walls have uniseriate or biseriate circular pits, or scalariform pits.
