3Functional evidence that FGFR regulates MAPK signaling in organizer specification in the gastropod mollusk Lottia peitaihoensis显示文摘The D-quadrant organizer sets up the dorsal–ventral(DV)axis and regulates mesodermal development of spiralians.Studies have revealed an important role of mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling in organizer function,but the related molecules have not been fully revealed.The association between fibroblast growth factor receptor(FGFR)and MAPK signaling in regulating organizer specification has been established in the annelid Owenia fusiformis.Now,comparable studies in other spiralian phyla are required to decipher whether this organizer-inducing function of FGFR is prevalent in Spiralia.Here,we indicate that treatment with the FGFR inhibitor SU5402 resulted in deficiency of organizer specification in the mollusk Lottia peitaihoensis.Subsequently,the bone morphogenetic protein(BMP)signaling gradient and DV patterning were disrupted,suggesting the roles of FGFR in regulating organizer function.Changes in multiple aspects of organizer function(the morphology of vegetal blastomeres,BMP signaling gradient,expression of DV patterning markers,etc.)indicate that these developmental functions have different sensitivities to FGFR/MAPK signaling.Our results reveal a functional role of FGFR in organizer specification as well as DV patterning of Lottia embryos,which expands our knowledge of spiralian organizers.Sujian Tan Pin Huan Baozhong Liu 2023Marine Life Science & Technology2023,5,4:1

5A comparative study on imaging parameters of Chevron combined with Akin osteotomy and Scarf combined with Akin osteotomy for the correction of hallux valgus in patients at different ages显示文摘Objective:To study the imaging parameters of Chevron combined with Akin and Scarf combined with Akin for the correction of hallux valgus in patients of different ages.Methods:Eighty patients(152 feet)with hallux valgus who underwent Chevron combined with Akin and Scarf combined with Akin in our hospital were randomly selected.The patients were divided into young and middle-aged groups.Measure the hallux valgus angles(HVA),distal metatarsal articular angle(DMAA)and intermetatarsal angles(IMA)with professional X-ray measurement software and then reseach the effect of two the operation methods.Results:Young group:Chevron combined with Akin and Scarf combined with Akin significantly improved HVA and IMA,the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05),but the improvement effect of the two groups was similar,and the difference had no statistical significance(P>0.05).The improvement effect of the two groups on DMAA in young patients was not significant,and the difference had no statistical significance(P>0.05);Middle-aged group:Chevron combined with Akin and Scarf combined with Akin also significantly improved HVA and IMA(P<0.05),but the improvement effect of the two groups was similar,and the difference had no statistical significance(P>0.05).Chevron combined with Akin significantly improved DMAA in middle-aged and elderly patients,and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).Scarf combined with Akin did not significantly improve DMAA in middle-aged and elderly patients,and the difference had no statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:Both Chevron combined with Akin and Scarf combined with Akin are effective and widely used.Chevron combined with Akin was able to improve DMAA in middle-aged and elderly patients.Therefore,Chevron combined with Akin is recommended for middle-aged and elderly patients with hallux valgus.Kun-Ming Xie Zhao-Jun Chen Xin-Yu Li Yin-Ze Qi Jun-De Wu Zhan-Hua Ma Xu-Yue Pan Fa-Sen Huang Huan Liang Pin Deng Jing-Lu Han Jing-Wei Tao Han-Jie Zhu 2021Journal of Hainan Medical University2021,27,13:0
6A two-step strategy for constructing stable gel polymer electrolyte interfaces for long-life cycle lithium metal batteries显示文摘Due to the high reactivity between the lithium metal and traditional organic liquid electrolyte,the reaction of lithium metal electrode is usually uneven and there are also unexpected side reactions.Therefore,construction of a stable solid electrolyte interface(SEI)is highly essential to improve the performance of lithium metal anode.Herein,a sandwich-like gel polymer electrolyte(GPE)is accurately prepared by in-situ polymerization of Polyacrylonitrile(PAN)nanofiber membrane with trihydroxymethylpropyl trimethylacrylate(TMPTMA)and 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate(HDDA).The resulting GPE with a tightly cross-linked gel skeleton exhibits high ionic conductivity and electrochemical window of 5.6 V versus Li/Li^(+).In particular,the pretreatment of Li metal anode can improve the interfacial wettability,and the synergy of the chemically pretreated Li metal anode surface and the GPE can electrochemically in situ generate SEI with compositionally stable and fluorine-rich inorganic components.Owing to these unique advantages,the interfacial compatibility between the GPE and lithium metal is greatly improved.Meanwhile,the formed SEI can inhibit the formation of lithium dendrites,and decomposition of GPE would be alleviated.The assembled Li-FEC|GPE|LiFePO_(4) full cell shows a high initial discharge capacity of 157.1 mA h g^(-1),and maintains a capacity retention of 92.3%after 100 cycles at 0.2C.Qiujun Wang Pin Zhang Weiqi Zhu Di Zhang Zhaojin Li Huan Wang Huilan Sun Bo Wang Li-Zhen Fan 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,5:0
