2Research on the ecological compensation standard of the basin pollution control project based on evolutionary game theory and by taking Xiangjiang River as a case显示文摘Ecological compensation is a new resource and environment management model.As one of the main areas for implementing ecological compensation policies,basin ecological compensation has become an important measure for encouraging basin pollution control projects and improving the quality of regional economic development.By applying the basic game analysis of evolutionary game theory and building an evolutionary game model with a“reward-punishment”mechanism,this paper compares the interest-related decision-making behaviors of the upstream and downstream stakeholders of basin ecological compensation.By using data on the water quality of Xiangjiang River Basin,this paper calculates the rewards and penalties in different intervals by building a parametric regression mathematical model and employing the local linear regression method.Results show that a decline in water quality should be fined RMB 925500 yuan,an improvement in water quality should be awarded RMB 1227800 yuan,and a deteriorating water quality should be severely fined RMB 5087600 yuan.Dongbin HU Huiwu LIU Xiaohong CHEN Yang CHEN 2019Frontiers of Engineering Management2019,6,4:4
3A chromosome-level genome assembly of the wild rice Oryza rufipogon facilitates tracing the origins of Asian cultivated rice显示文摘Oryza rufipogon Griff.is a wild progenitor of the Asian cultivated rice Oryza sativa.To better understand the genomic diversity of the wild rice,high-quality reference genomes of O.rufipogon populations are needed,which also facilitate utilization of the wild genetic resources in rice breeding.In this study,we generated a chromosome-level genome assembly of O.rufipogon using a combination of short-read sequencing,single-molecule sequencing,BioNano and Hi-C platforms.The genome sequence(399.8 Mb)was assembled into 46 scaffolds on the 12 chromosomes,with contig N50 and scaffold N50 of 13.2 Mb and 20.3 Mb,respectively.The genome contains 36,520 protein-coding genes,and 49.37% of the genome consists of repetitive elements.The genome has strong synteny with those of the O.sativa subspecies indica and japonica,but containing some large structural variations.Evolutionary analysis unveiled the polyphyletic origins of O.sativa,in which the japonica and indica genome formations involved different divergent O.rufipogon(including O.nivara)lineages,accompanied by introgression of genomic regions between japonica and indica.This high-quality reference genome provides insight on the genome evolution of the wild rice and the origins of the O.sativa subspecies,and valuable information for basic research and rice breeding.Xianrong Xie Huilong Du Huiwu Tang Jianian Tang Xiyu Tan Weizhi Liu Tie Li Zhansheng Lin Chengzhi Liang Yao-Guang Liu 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,2:4
4Cloning and expression pattern of a dehydrin-like BDNI gene from drought-tolerant Boea crassifolia Hemsl.显示文摘A 500-bp cDNA fragment was amplified via RT-PCR from drought-induced total RNA of the drought-tolerant B. crassifolia Hemsl. using primers based on the sequence of published dehydrin conserved region. By using 5’ RACE, full-length coding region (1 148 bp) of BDN1 gene was produced. It is a new member of the dehydrin gene family. Southern analysis indicated that BDN1 is present in the 6. crassifolia genome as a single-copy gene. 5Public-transcriptome-database-assisted selection and validation of reliable reference genes for qRT-PCR in rice显示文摘Accurate quantitative reverse transcription PCR(q RT-PCR)requires reliable reference genes whose expression does not vary in different tissues and developmental stages.However,few reliable reference genes are available for q RT-PCR in rice(Oryza sativa).Here,we established an effective strategy for identifying novel reference genes(NRGs)for reliable normalization of q RT-PCR data in various rice organs and developmental stages.We selected candidate NRGs using the Information Commons for Rice Database and confirmed their expression in Rice Expression Profile Database(Rice XPro)data.Genes with low variation(<2.5 cycle quantification)across tissues and developmental stages,and little fluctuation in expression in heatmaps from Rice XPro data were considered stable NRGs.To validate this strategy,we selected 11 candidate NRGs and calculated their expression stability in different spatio-temporal conditions using five programs,and compared these genes with five established reference genes(ERGs).Only one of the ERGs(UBQ5)was reliable and 10 of the candidate NRGs were more stable than the four remaining ERGs.Therefore,public transcriptomic databases are useful for identifying NRGs.We selected two NRGs,UFC1(Homolog of UFM1-Conjugating Enzyme 1)and Fha B(Homolog of Adhesin Fha B)for q RT-PCR analysis in rice;their homologs might be suitable for other monocot plants.Zhe Zhao Zixu Zhang Zhi Ding Hengjun Meng Rongxin Shen Huiwu Tang Yao-Guang Liu Letian Chen 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,1:2
6Ocean current observation and spectrum analysis in central Chukchi Sea during the summer of 2008显示文摘During the summer of 2008,the third CHINARE Arctic Expedition was carried out on board of Xuelong Icebreaker in the central Chukchi Sea.A submersible mooring system was deployed and recovered at Station CN-01(71 40.024'N,167 58.910'W) with 33 days of the current profile records,and continuous observation of temperature and salinity data were collected.This mooring station locates in the blank of similar observation area and it is the first time for our Chinese to finish this kind of long-term mooring work in this area.This mooring system finished integrated hydrological observations with long-term continuous record of the whole profile velocity for the first time.Based on time series analysis of temperature,salinity,velocity and flow direction,we get the following main results.(1) During the observation period,the mean surface current velocity is 70.2 cm/s eastward,and velocity reaches its maximum in average at 3 m level with magnitude 90.0 cm/s,direction 206.(2) In 9-30 m layers,the semidiurnal period variation is the most obvious,the flow direction is quite stable,and the flow is synchronous and consistent vertically.(3) Besides the semidiurnal period variation,the main variation in the upper layer is in 11-d period,with variations in period 5.5,5.5,and 3.7 d,which reflect the influences of sea surface wind change and maintenance.(4) Near the bottom,the temperature change is correlated and synchronized with the conductivity.CHEN Hongxia WANG Huiwu SHU Qi WANG Daolong LIU Na 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,3:2
7Observed features of temperature, salinity and current in central Chukchi Sea during the summer of 2012显示文摘During the summer of 2012, the fifth CHINARE Arctic Expedition was carried out, and a submersible mooring system was deployed in M5 station located at(69°30.155'N,169°00.654'W) and recovered 50 d later. A set of temperature, salinity and current profile records was acquired. The characteristics of these observations are analyzed in this paper. Some main results are achieved as below.(1) Temperature generally decreases while salinity generally increases with increasing depth. The average values of all records are 2.98°C and 32.21 psu.(2)Salinity and temperature are well negatively correlated, and the correlation coefficient between them is –0.84.However, they did not always vary synchronously. Their co-variation featured different characters during different significant periods.(3) The average velocity for the whole water column is 141 mm/s with directional angle of347.1°. The statistical distribution curve of velocity record number gets narrower with increasing depth. More than85% of the recorded velocities are northward, and the mean magnitudes of dominated northward velocities are100–150 mm/s.(4) Rotary spectrum analysis shows that motions with low frequency take a majority of energy in all layers. The most significant energy peaks for all layers are around 0.012 cph(about 3.5 d period), while the tidal motion in mooring area is nonsignificant.(5) Velocities in all layers feature similar and synchronous temporal variations, except for the slight decrease in magnitude and leftward twist from top to bottom. The directions of velocity correspond well to those of surface wind. 8A high-Tc dc-SQUID-based single-channel MCG and its performance显示文摘A single-channel high-Tc dc-SQUID magnetometer and gradiometer have been developed to record the magnetic field component perpendicular to the human chest generated by heart-beat. Magnetocardiogram (MCG) measurements have been carried out inside a magnetically shielded room. By sequentially adjusting a non-magnetic patient table with 5 cm pitch in X and Y directions, the field signals on a rectangle grid 5×5 over the chest area were registered in real time trace point by point with a typical dwell time over 30 cardiocycles each. Utilizing standard electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings as timing reference measured simultaneously with the MCG signals, the MCG data were then averaged and combined to form magnetic field patterns every 10 ms or so. Both the current dipole, which is parallel to MCG measuring plane and produces the vertical magnetic field, and its depth were determined as a function of time in a standard way. 9Reduction of 4-Nitrophenol Using Ficin Capped Gold Nanoclusters as Catalyst显示文摘Conversion of nitroarenes to aminoarenes has attracted great attention in pharmaceutical industry, agricultural production, environmental protection and chemical catalysis area. In this work, ficin capped gold nanoclusters(ficin@AuNCs) were prepared for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol.The proposed catalyst was characterized by transmission electron microscopy,dynamic light scattering, fluorescence spectra and UV-Vis spectra. With NaBH4 as the reducing agent, the reduction reaction could carry out completely within 10 min at 25 ℃. Interestingly, the resultant catalyst exliibited size-related properties in the reduction, smaller ficin@AuNCs exhibited liigher catalytic activity. Its present pseudo-first-order rate constant was found to be 2.95×10^-3 s^-1 and the catalytic activation energy was 27.7 kJ/mol. Moreover, ficin@AuNCs-based catalyst displayed good stability, heading to 4-nitrophenol conversion of 98.5%-100.0% after six consecutive cycles. 10Towards suppressing dielectric loss of GO/PVDF nanocomposites with TA-Fe coordination complexes as an interface layer显示文摘In this work, graphene oxide(GO) nanosheets with surface modification by Tannic and Fe coordination complexes(TA-Fe) were incorporated into poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVDF) to prepare high constant but low loss polymer nanocomposites, and the effect of TA-Fe interlayer on dielectric properties of the GO@TA-Fe/PVDF nanocomposites was investigated. The results indicate that the dosage, mixing ratio, and reaction time of TA-Fe complexes have obvious influences on the dielectric properties of the nanocomposites. Furthermore, the TA-Fe interlayer significantly influences the electrical properties of GO@TA-Fe nanoparticles and their PVDF composites, and the GO@TA-Fe/PVDF composites exhibit superior dielectric properties compared with raw GO/PVDF. Dielectric losses of the GO@TA-Fe/PVDF are significantly suppressed to a rather low level owing to the presence of TA-Fe layer, which serves as an interlayer between the GO sheets, thus preventing them from direct contacting with each other. 11The Distribution and Variability of Simulated Chlorophyll Concentration over the Tropical Indian Ocean from Five CMIP5 Models显示文摘Performances of 5 models from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5) in simulating the chloro-phyll concentration over the tropical Indian Ocean are evaluated. Results show that these models are able to capture the dominant spatial distribution of observed chlorophyll concentration and reproduce the maximum chlorophyll concentration over the western part of the Arabian Sea, around the tip of the Indian subcontinent, and in the southeast tropical Indian Ocean. The seasonal evolution of chlorophyll concentration over these regions is also reproduced with significant amplitude diversity among models. All of 5 mod-els is able to simulate the interannual variability of chlorophyll concentration. The maximum interannual variation occurs at the same regions where the maximum climatological chlorophyll concentration is located. Further analysis also reveals that the Indian Ocean Dipole events have great impact on chlorophyll concentration in the tropical Indian Ocean. 19Dramatic weakening of the ear-shaped thermal front in the Yellow Sea during 1950s–1990s显示文摘The ear-shaped thermal front(ESTF), formed by the convergence of the Yellow Sea Warm Current(YSWC) and the Shandong Coastal Current(SCC), is a very important oceanic phenomenon in the Yellow Sea(YS) in winter. In situ measurements and reanalysis datasets all demonstrate that the ESTF has been weakening during1950s–1990s, and a similar weakening trend is also found in winter monsoon over the YS. Numerical experiments show that the weakening of winter monsoon can induce an anomalous circulation in the YS on multi-decadal timescale with northward anomalous currents along China's coast and southward anomalous currents in the central YS—generally opposite to seasonal mean circulation. The anomalous circulation causes slowdown of the YSWC and the SCC, and thus weakens the ESTF.
