1Seasonal variation of eddy kinetic energy in the South China Sea显示文摘Mesoscale eddy activity and its modulation mechanism in the South China Sea (SCS) are investigated with newly reprocessed satellite altimetry observations and hydrographic data. The eddy kinetic energy (EKE) level of basin-wide averages show a distinct seasonal cycle with the maximum in August-December and the minimum in February-May. Furthermore, the seasonal pattern of EKE in the basin is dominated by region offshore of central Vietnam (OCV), southwest of Taiwan Island (SWT), and southwest of Luzon (SWL), which are also the breeding grounds of mesoscale eddies in the SCS. Instability theory analysis suggests that the seasonal cycle of EKE is modulated by the baroclinic instability of the mean flow. High eddy growth rate (EGR) is found in the active eddy regions. 2Relation of ice conditions to climate change in the Bohai Sea of China显示文摘The ice conditions in the Bohai Sea and the northern Huanghai Sea greatly change from year to year with winter climate. Ice only covers below 15% of the the waters during the wannest win-ter, while it covers more than 80% during the coldest winter. Ice observation and data acquisition are outlined in the paper. The ice-covered area, the position of ice edge and the ice grades give indication of the ice conditions. The local climate of the waters can be expressed by using the air temperature of the stations of Dalian and Yingkou. The variation of the ice condition indexes with the monthly mean air temperature at Dalian from 1952 to 2000 is shown, as well. The local climate and ice conditions in the waters are affected by many factors,such as, evolution of the general atmospheric circulation and the solar activity. The delayed correlation between the ice conditions and lots of the affecting factors is analysed in the paper. The ice conditions are continuously mild since the 1990s, that is relative to the tendency of the global warming. The ice condition variation of the Bohai Sea is related to the El Nino event and the sunspot period. 3Graphene/phosphorene nano-heterojunction:facile synthesis, nonlinear optics, and ultrafast photonics applications with enhanced performance显示文摘Owing to its thickness-modulated direct energy band gap, relatively strong light–matter interaction, and unique nonlinear optical response at a long wavelength, few-layer black phosphorus, or phosphorene, becomes very attractive in ultrafast photonics applications. Herein, we synthesized a graphene/phosphorene nano-heterojunction using a liquid phase-stripping method. Tiny lattice distortions in graphene and phosphorene suggest the formation of a nano-heterojunction between graphene and phosphorene nanosheets. In addition, we systematically investigate their nonlinear optical responses at different wavelength regimes. Our experiments indicate that the combined advantages of ultrafast relaxation, broadband response in graphene, and the strong light–matter interaction in phosphorene can be combined together by nano-heterojunction. We have further fabricated two-dimensional(2D) nano-heterojunction based optical saturable absorbers and integrated them into an erbium-doped fiber laser to demonstrate the generation of a stable ultrashort pulse down to 148 fs. Our results indicate that a graphene/phosphorene nano-heterojunction can operate as a promising saturable absorber for ultrafast laser systems with ultrahigh pulse energy and ultranarrow pulse duration. 4Snow and sea ice thermodynamics in the Arctic:Model validation and sensitivity study against SHEBA data显示文摘Evolution of the Arctic sea ice and its snow cover during the SHEBA year were simulated by applying a high-resolution thermodynamic snow/ice model (HIGHTSI).Attention was paid to the impact of albedo on snow and sea ice mass balance,effect of snow on total ice mass balance,and the model vertical resolution. The SHEBA annual simulation was made applying the best possible external forcing data set created by the Sea Ice Model Intercomparison Project.The HIGHTSI control run reasonably reproduced the observed snow and ice thickness.A number of albedo schemes were incorporated into HIGHTSI to study the feedback processes between the albedo and snow and ice thickness.The snow thickness turned out to be an essential variable in the albedo parameterization.Albedo schemes dependent on the surface temperature were liable to excessive positive feedback effects generated by errors in the modelled surface temperature.The superimposed ice formation should be taken into account for the annual Arctic sea ice mass balance.Cheng Bin Timo Vihma Zhang Zhanhai Li Zhijun Wu Huiding 2008Chinese Journal of Polar Science2008,19,2:5
5Present advances and perspectives of broadband photo-detectors based on emerging 2D-Xenes beyond graphene显示文摘As an excellent optical device,photodetectors have many important applications,such as communication technology,display technology,scientific measurement,fire monitoring,aerospace and biomedical research,and ifs of great significance in the research of nanotechnology and optoelectronics.Graphene,as the first two-dimensional(2D)single-element nanomaterial,has the advantages of high carrier mobility,high strength,high light transmittance and excellent thermal conductivity,and ifs widely used in various nano-optical devices.The great success of graphene has led scientists to extensive research on other 2D single-element nanomaterials.Recently,a group of novel 2D single-element nanomaterials have attracted a lot of attention from scientists because of its excellent physical,chemical,electronic,mechanical and optical properties.Furthermore,it has opened a new door for the realization of new and efficient photodetectors.The group of 2D single-element nanomaterials are called 2D-Xenes and used to make high-performance photodetectors.Currently,there are few studies on photodetectors based on 2D-Xenes,but some 2D-Xenes have been applied to photodetectors and reported.Some of these have excellent photodetection performance,such as high photoresponsivity(R),broad spectral response range,fast photoresponse speed and high specific detectivity(D).Based on the novel 2D-Xenes,this review explores the types and preparation methods of 2D-Xenes,and the working mechanisms of 2D-Xenes photodetectors.Finally,the challenges and development trends of 2D-Xenes in the future are discussed.The research of 2D-Xenes is of great significance for the development of high-performance photodetectors in the future,and is expected to be widely used in other nanoelectronics and optical devices.Bing Wang Shipeng Zhong Yanqi Ge Huide Wang Xiaoling Luo Han Zhang 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:4
6Inter-comparisons of thermodynamic sea-ice modeling results using various parameterizations of radiative flux显示文摘Radiative fluxes are of primary importance in the energy and mass balance of the sea-ice cover. Various parameterizations of the radia- tive fluxes are studied in a thermodynamic sea-ice model. Model outputs of the surface radiative and heat fluxes and mass balance are compared with observations. The contribution of short-wave radiation is limited to a long part of winter. Therefore, simple schemes are often sufficient. Errors in estimations of the short-wave radiation are due mainly to cloud effects and occasionally to multi-reflection between surface and ice crystals in the air. The long-wave radiation plays an important role in the ice surface heat and mass balance during most part of a winter. The effect of clouds on the accuracy of the simple radiative schemes is critical, which needs further atten- tion. 7Current Situation of Farmers' Specialized Cooperatives in Hainan Province and Development Strategies显示文摘This paper introduces the distribution, membership structure and industrial structure of farmers' specialized cooperatives in Hainan Province, and points out some problems in farmers' specialized cooperatives in Hainan Province, such as small scale, low ability to resist risks, lack of standardization in operation, and generally low quality of cooperative members. 8Interaction of an anticyclonic eddy with sea ice in the western Arctic Ocean:an eddy-resolving model study显示文摘The dramatic decline of summer sea ice extent and thickness has been witnessed in the western Arctic Ocean in recent decades,which has motivated scientists to search for possible factors driving the sea ice variability.An eddy-resolving,ice-ocean coupled model covering the entire Arctic Ocean is implemented,with focus on the western Arctic Ocean.Special attention is paid to the summer Alaskan coastal current(ACC),which has a high temperature(up to 5 C or more) in the upper layer due to the solar radiation over the open water at the lower latitude.Downstream of the ACC after Barrow Point,a surface-intensified anticyclonic eddy is frequently generated and propagate towards the Canada Basin during the summer season when sea ice has retreated away from the coast.Such an eddy has a warm core,and its source is high-temperature ACC water.A typical warm-core eddy is traced.It is trapped just below summer sea ice melt water and has a thickness about 60 m.Temperature in the eddy core reaches 2-3 C,and most water inside the eddy has a temperature over 1 C.With a definition of the eddy boundary,an eddy heat is calculated,which can melt 1 600 km 2 of 1 m thick sea ice under extreme conditions.LI Qun ZHANG Zhanhai WU Huiding 2013Acta Oceanologica Sinica2013,32,3:2

18Strategies for Natural Rubber Production and Development in China显示文摘The world's natural rubber output was 12. 31 million t and the consumption reached 12. 17 million t in 2015. China's natural rubber output was 0. 85 million t and the consumption reached 4. 724 million t in 2016. Southeast Asian countries are the main natural rubber producing countries,and ITRC policy affects the natural rubber prices. During 2017-2025,the supply of natural rubber in the world is expected to be abundant to meet downstream demand. Based on natural conditions for rubber planting and production costs,China's rubber production should place emphasis on developing ClassⅠrubber production area,strengthening Class Ⅱ rubber production area and adjusting Class Ⅲ rubber production area.
