| 1 | Nasopharyngeal carcinoma in Indonesia:epidemiology,incidence,signs,and symptoms at presentation显示文摘Among all head and neck (H&N) cancers,nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) represents a distinct entity regarding epidemiology,clinical presentation,biological markers,carcinogenic risk factors,and prognostic factors.NPC is endemic in certain regions of the world,especially in Southeast Asia,and has a poor prognosis.In Indonesia,the recorded mean prevalence is 6.2/100 000,with 13 000 yearly new NPC cases,but otherwise little is documented on NPC in Indonesia.Here,we report on a group of 1121 NPC patients diagnosed and treated at Dr.Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital,Jakarta,Indonesia between 1996 and 2005.We studied NPC incidence among all H&N cancer cases (n=6000) observed in that period,focusing on age and gender distribution,the ethnic background of patients,and the disease etiology.We also analyzed most prevalent signs and symptoms and staging of NPC patients at first presentation.In this study population,NPC was the most frequent H&N cancer (28.4%),with a male-to-female ratio of 2.4,and was endemic in the Javanese population.Interestingly,NPC appeared to affect patients at a relatively young age (20% juvenile cases) without a bimodal age distribution.Mostly,NPC initiated in the fossa of Rosenmuller and spreaded intracranially or locally as a mass in the head.Occasionally,NPC developed at the submucosal level spreading outside the anatomic limits of the nasopharynx.At presentation,NPC associated with hearing problems,serous otitis media,tinnitus,nasal obstruction,anosmia,bleeding,difficulty in swallowing and dysphonia,and even eye symptoms with diplopia and pain.The initial diagnosis is difficult to make because early signs and symptoms of NPC are not specific to the disease.Early-age Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection combined with frequent exposure to environmental carcinogenic co-factors is suggested to cause NPC development.Undifferentiated NPC is the most frequent histological type and is closely associated with EBV.Expression of the EBV-encoded latent membrane protein 1(LMP1) oncogene in biopsy material was compared between NPC patients of <30 years old and those of ≥30 years old,matched for sex and tumor stage.Higher LMP1 expression in patients of <30 years old was observed,which was related to more locoregional progressivity.Increased medical awareness of prevailing early stage signs and symptoms coupled to use of EBV-related diagnostic tumor markers may lead to down-staging and timely treatment to improve survival of patients with this aggressive disease. | Marlinda Adham Antonius N.Kurniawan Arina Ika Muhtadi Averdi Roezin Bambang Hermani Soehartati Gondhowiardjo I Bing Tan Jaap M.Middeldorp | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Cancer2012，31，4： | 22 |
| 2 | 流式细胞术检测骨髓增生异常综合征细胞中RAP1GAP表达及其临床相关性(英文)显示文摘以往应用基因芯片对骨髓增生异常综合征(MDS)患者细胞的基因表达谱的研究发现,RAS蛋白超家族成员RAP1GAP转录水平被上调,并在MDS患者大量病例中应用定量RT-PCR得到证实。本研究探讨MDS细胞中RAP1GAP的表达及其与临床的相关性。应用流式细胞术检测19例MDS患者骨髓细胞内RAP1GAP的表达,并与非恶性血液病以及急性白血病患者骨髓细胞中RAP1GAP的表达进行比较。对RAP1GAP表达水平与MDS患者的血红蛋白水平,白细胞计数,血小板计数,骨髓细胞中原始细胞的百分数以及IPSS危险积分等临床指标之间的相关性进行了分析。结果发现,RAP1GAP的表达在MDS患者骨髓细胞中显著高于非恶性血液病或急性白血病的细胞内的表达(8.420±8.365%比2.974±4.750%或2.256±4.239%)。在MDS患者中,MDS-RA的RAP1GAP表达显著高于MDS-RAEB内的表达(11.637±9.067%比4.368±4.646%)。然而,在检测的MDS患者中RAP1GAP的表达水平与上述临床指标无确切的相关性。结论:RAP1GAP在MDS中的表达明显增高,RAP1GAP表达水平与临床实验室血液学参数及IPSS积分之间无相关性。RAP1GAP表达在MDS进展至AML中的作用及其临床意义值得进一步探讨。 | Stella Aprilia Ika 祁小飞 陈子兴 | 2009 | 中国实验血液学杂志2009，17，3： | 3 |
| 3 | Graphene-and Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes-Coated Tapered Plastic Optical Fiber for Detection of Lard Adulteration in Olive Oil显示文摘A rapid and high-performance sensor for lard adulterant in edible oil was developed using the tapered plastic optical fiber(POF)coated with graphene and multi-walled carbon nanotubes.The coating material was deposited onto a tapered POF with a taper waist diameter and a taper length of 0.45 mm and 1 cm,respectively.The addition of the coating material was used to increase the sensitivity and selectivity coefficient of the tapered POF toward the lard substance.The sensing mechanism is based on a simultaneous interaction of lard substance and an evanescent wave of tapered POF with the coating layers.The results showed that graphene coating on the tapered POF increased the selectivity coefficient of the tapered POF towards lard substance from 33.54 to 324.19,and it gave a sensitivity of 0.427 dBm/%.In comparison,multi-walled carbon nanotubes coating increased the selectivity coefficient to 71.65 and increased its sensitivity to 1.189 dBm/%.Thus,the proposed configuration of the tapered POF with the coating material offered a simple configuration for a rapid,high sensitivity and selectivity detection of lard adulterant in edible oils. | Ika PUSPITA Ninik IRAWATI Kartika Anoraga MADURANI Fredy KURNIAWAN Sekartedjo KOENTJORO Agus Muhamad HATTA | 2022 | Photonic Sensors2022，12，4： | 2 |

| 6 | Several factors including ITPA polymorphism influence ribavirin-induced anemia in chronic hepatitis C显示文摘AIM:To construct formulae for predicting the likelihood of ribavirin-induced anemia in pegylated interferon plus ribavirin for chronic hepatitis C.METHODS:Five hundred and sixty-one Japanese patients with hepatitis C virus genotype 1b who had received combination treatment were enrolled and assigned randomly to the derivation and confirmatory groups.Single nucleotide polymorphisms at or nearby ITPA were genotyped by real-time detection polymerase chain reaction.Factors influencing significant anemia(hemoglobin concentration < 10.0 g/dL at week 4 of treatment) and significant hemoglobin decline(declining concentrations > 3.0 g/dL at week 4) were analyzed using multiple regression analyses.Prediction formulae were constructed by significantly independent factors.RESULTS:Multivariate analysis for the derivation group identified four independent factors associated with significant hemoglobin decline:hemoglobin decline at week 2 [P = 3.29 × 10-17,odds ratio(OR) = 7.54(g/dL)],estimated glomerular filtration rate [P = 2.16 × 10-4,OR = 0.962(mL/min/1.73 m 2)],rs1127354(P = 5.75 × 10-4,OR = 10.94) and baseline hemoglobin [P = 7.86 × 10-4,OR = 1.50(g/dL)].Using the model constructed by these factors,positive and negative predictive values and predictive accuracy were 79.8%,88.8% and 86.2%,respectively.For the confirmatory group,they were 83.3%,91.0% and 88.3%.These factors were closely correlated with significant anemia.However,the model could not be constructed,because no patients with rs1127354 minor genotype CA/AA had significant anemia.CONCLUSION:Reliable formulae for predicting the likelihood of ribavirin-induced anemia were constructed.Such modeling may be useful in developing individual tailoring and optimization of ribavirin dosage. | Akihito Tsubota Noritomo Shimada Hiroshi Abe Kai Yoshizawa Rie Agata Yoko Yumoto Makiko Ika Yoshihisa Namiki Keisuke Nagatsuma Hiroshi Matsudaira Kiyotaka Fujise Norio Tada Yoshio Aizawa | 2012 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2012，18，41： | 1 |

| 14 | 双氯芬酸与奈帕芬胺在白内障术后抗炎疗效比较(英文)显示文摘目的:比较白内障患者术前局部应用0.1%双氯芬酸与0.1%奈帕芬胺的疼痛度和抗炎疗效。方法:该前瞻性随机临床试验于2017/06-08在Dr. Yap眼科医院进行。共56例患者诊断为老年性白内障并接受超声乳化术,未出现并发症。受试者按术前应用滴眼剂分为两组(双氯芬酸组和奈帕芬胺组)。炎症特征(第1,7和14d随访)如疼痛度、结膜充血、眼睑痉挛、房水闪辉和细胞水平为主要结果,而角膜内皮细胞密度和形态为次要观察结果。结果:术后1d(分别为P=0.284,效应量=0.29, 95%CI=-0.09~0.31;P=0.254,效应量=0.31, 95%CI=-0.13~0.49)和7d(P=1.000和P=0.556,效应量=0.18, 95%CI=-0.08~0.16),两组间结膜充血和眼睑痉挛水平无统计学差异。奈帕芬胺组疼痛指数(术中及术后1、4d)显著低于双氯芬酸组(分别为P=0.006,效应量=0.77, 95%CI=0.24~1.34;P=0.045,效应量=0.39, 95%CI=-0.10~0.62;P=0.014,效应量=0.69, 95%CI=-0.06~0.50)。术后1d奈帕芬胺组房水闪辉和细胞水平较低(P=0.029,效应量=0.59, 95%CI=0.02~0.36)。两组间角膜内皮密度降低无统计学差异,而术后7d奈帕芬胺组六角形细胞比例减少较多(P=0.042,效应量=-0.55, 95%CI=-2.33~-0.03)。结论:与双氯芬酸组相比,奈帕芬胺组疼痛度和房水闪辉细胞值较低。 | Ika Nuraita Wasisdi Gunawan Retno Ekantini Rinanto Prabowo Suhardjo Pawiroranu Agus Supartoto Indra Tri Mahayana | 2019 | 国际眼科杂志2019，19，5： | 1 |
