| 1 | 高精度光释光测年揭示的晚第四纪毛乌素和浑善达克沙地沙丘的固定与活化过程显示文摘利用光释光测年技术对毛乌素沙地和浑善达克沙地7个地点的沉积剖面进行了年代测试,结合地层特征,获得了最近60kaBP以来两个沙地沙丘固定与活化时间的年代学控制60kaBP以来毛乌素沙地的固定期分别为距今37.71ka、8.54ka、8.32ka、7.93ka、7.77ka、7.57ka、7.39ka和2.39ka以后;活化的时间分别为距今57.08ka、52.50ka、13.65ka、13.13ka、7.20ka前后、2.39ka以前和0.29ka以来。在10.97kaBP、10.04kaBP、9.81kaBP和8.67kaBP前后沙地处于气候干湿交替时期。全新世期间,浑善达克沙地在距今8.74~8.72ka、7.79ka前后,沙丘活化;5.69kaBP、4.25kaBP、2.75kaBP、1.53kaBP和0.71kaBP前后,沙丘处于相对固定阶段,0.15kaBP以来,沙丘处于半固定状态。晚第四纪气候千年至百年尺度的变化可能是两个沙地沙丘活化与固定的主导因素。 | 周亚利 鹿化煜 张家富 周力平 苗晓东 Mason J A | 2005 | 中国沙漠2005，25，3： | 49 |
| 2 | Complications associated with prone positioning in elective spinal surgery显示文摘Complications associated with prone surgical positioning during elective spine surgery have the potential to cause serious patient morbidity.Although many ofthese complications remain uncommon,the range of possible morbidities is wide and includes multiple organ systems.Perioperative visual loss(POVL)is a well described,but uncommon complication that may occur due to ischemia to the optic nerve,retina,or cerebral cortex.Closed-angle glaucoma and amaurosis have been reported as additional etiologies for vision loss following spinal surgery.Peripheral nerve injuries,such as those caused by prolonged traction to the brachial plexus,are more commonly encountered postoperative events.Myocutaneous complications including pressure ulcers and compartment syndrome may also occur after prone positioning,albeit rarely.Other uncommon positioning complications such as tongue swelling resulting in airway compromise,femoral artery ischemia,and avascular necrosis of the femoral head have also been reported.Many of these are well-understood and largely avoidable through thoughtful attention to detail.Other complications,such as POVL,remain incompletely understood and thus more difficult to predict or prevent.Here,the current literature on the complications of prone positioning for spine surgery is reviewed to increase awareness of the spectrum of potential complications and to inform spine surgeons of strategies to minimize the risk of prone patient morbidity. | J Mason De Passe Mark A Palumbo Maahir Haque Craig P Eberson Alan H Daniels | 2015 | World Journal of Orthopedics2015，6，3： | 7 |

| 5 | Continuous internal counterpulsation as a bridge to recovery in acute and chronic heart failure显示文摘Cardiac recovery from cardiogenic shock(CS) and end-stage chronic heart failure(HF) remains anoften insurmountable therapeutic challenge. The counterpulsation technique exerts numerous beneficial effects on systemic hemodynamics and left ventricular mechanoenergetics, rendering it attractive for promoting myocardial recovery in both acute and chronic HF. Although a recent clinical trial has questioned the clinical effectiveness of short-term hemodynamic support with intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP, the main representative of the counterpulsation technique) in CS complicating myocardial infarction, the issue remains open to further investigation. Moreover, preliminary data suggest that long-term IABP support in patients with end-stage HF is safe and may mediate recovery of left- or/and right-sided cardiac function, facilitating long-term weaning from mechanical support or enabling the application of other permanent, life-saving solutions. | 8 | Clinical classification of symptomatic heterotopic pancreas of the stomach and duodenum:A case series and systematic literature review显示文摘BACKGROUND Heterotopic pancreas(HP)is an aberrant anatomic malformation that occurs most commonly in the upper gastrointestinal tract.While the majority of heterotopic pancreatic lesions are asymptomatic,many manifest severe clinical symptoms which require surgical or endoscopic intervention.Understanding of the clinical manifestations and symptoms of HP is limited due to the lack of large volume studies in the literature.The purpose of this study is to review symptomatic cases at a single center and compare these to a systematic review of the literature in order to characterize common clinical manifestations and treatment of this disease.AIM To classify the common clinical manifestations of heterotopic pancreas.METHODS A retrospective review was conducted of pathologic samples containing heterotopic pancreas from 2000-2018.Review was limited to HP of the upper gastrointestinal tract due to the frequency of presentation in this location.Symptomatic patients were identified from review of the medical records and clinical symptoms were tabulated.These were compared to a systematic review of the literature utilizing Pub Med and Embase searches for papers pertaining to heterotopic pancreas.Publications describing symptomatic presentation of HP were selected for review.Information including demographics,symptoms,presentation and treatment were compiled and analyzed.RESULTS Twenty-nine patient were identified with HP at a single center,with six of these identified has having clinical symptoms.Clinical manifestations included,gastrointestinal bleeding,gastric ulceration with/without perforation,pancreatitis,and gastric outlet obstruction.Systemic review of the literature yielded 232 publications detailing symptomatic cases with only 20 studies describing ten or more patients.Single and multi-patient studies were combined to form a cohort of 934 symptomatic patients.The majority of patients presented with abdominal pain(67%)combined with one of the following clinical categories:(1)Dyspepsia,(n=445,48%);(2)Pancreatitis(n=260,28%);(3)Gastrointestinal bleeding(n=80,9%);and(4)Gastric outlet obstruction(n=80,9%).The majority of cases(n=832,90%)underwent surgical or endoscopic resection with 85%reporting resolution or improvement in their symptoms.CONCLUSION Heterotopic pancreas can cause significant clinical symptoms in the upper gastrointestinal tract.Better understanding and classification of this disease may result in more accurate identification and treatment of this malformation. | Michael T Le Compte Brandon Mason Keenan J Robbins Motoyo Yano Deyali Chatterjee Ryan C Fields Steven M Strasberg William G Hawkins | 2022 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2022，28，14： | 3 |
| 9 | Combination antiretroviral studies for patients with primary biliary cirrhosis显示文摘Following the characterization of a human betaretrovirus in patients with primary biliary cirrhosis(PBC),pilot studies using antiretroviral therapy have been conducted as proof of principal to establish a link of virus with disease and with the eventual aim to find better adjunct therapies for patients unresponsive to ursodeoxycholic acid.In the first open label pilot study,the reverse transcriptase inhibitor lamivudine had little demonstrable biochemical or histological effect after 1 year.Whereas,lamivudine in combination with zidovudine was associated with a significant reduction in alkaline phosphatase as well as improvement in necroinflammatory score,cholangitis and ductopenia over a 12 mo period.A double blind,multi-center randomized controlled trial using lamivudine with zidovudine for 6 mo confirmed a significant reduction in alkaline phosphatase,ALT and AST in patients on antiviral therapy.However,none of the patients achieved the stringent endpoint criteria for normalization of alkaline phosphatase.Furthermore,some patients developed biochemical rebound consistent with drug resistance.A major fault of these studies has been the inability to measure the viral load in peripheral blood and therefore,provide a direct correlation between improvement of hepatic biochemistry and reduction in viral load.Nevertheless,viral mutants to lamivudine with zidovudine were later characterized in the NOD.c3c4 mouse model of PBC that has been used to test other antiretroviral regimens to betaretrovirus.The combination of tenofovir and emtricitabine reverse transcriptase inhibitors and the HIV protease inhibitor,lopinavir were found to abrogate cholangitis in the NOD.c3c4 mouse model and the same regimen normalized the liver tests in a PBC patient with HIV and human betaretrovirus infection.This combination antiretroviral therapy has now been used in a double blind randomized controlled crossover study for patients with PBC followed by an open label extension study.Only a third of the PBC patients were able to tolerate the lopinavir but those maintained on tenofovir,emtricitabine and lopinavir experienced sustained and clinically meaningful reduction in hepatic biochemistry.While we await the histological and virological evaluation,it is clear that better tolerated regimens of antiretroviral treatment will be required in future clinical trials. | Ellina Lytvyak Aldo J Montano-Loza Andrew L Mason | 2016 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2016，22，1： | 2 |
