1Generation of super-resolved optical needle and multifocal array using graphene oxide metalenses显示文摘Ultrathin flat metalenses have emerged as promising alternatives to conventional diffractive lenses,offering new possibilities for myriads of miniaturization and interfacial applications.Graphene-based materials can achieve both phase and amplitude modulations simultaneously at a single position due to the modification of the complex refractive index and thickness by laser conversion from graphene oxide into graphene like materials.In this work,we develop graphene oxide metalenses to precisely control phase and amplitude modulations and to achieve a holistic and systematic lens design based on a graphene-based material system.We experimentally validate our strategies via demonstrations of two graphene oxide metalenses:one with an ultra-long(~16λ)optical needle,and the other with axial multifocal spots,at the wavelength of 632.8 nm with a 200 nm thin film.Our proposed graphene oxide metalenses unfold unprecedented opportunities for accurately designing graphene-based ultrathin integratable devices for broad applications.Hongtao Wang Chenglong Hao Han Lin Yongtian Wang Tian Lan Chengwei Qiu Baohua Jia 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,2:10
2Fossil leaves of Berhamniphyllum(Rhamnaceae) from Markam,Tibet and their biogeographic implications显示文摘A new occurrence of buckthorn fossil leaves is reported from the upper Eocene strata of Markam Basin,southeastern Tibet,China.The leaf margin is either entire or slightly sinuous.Secondary veins are regularly spaced,forming eucamptodromous venation.These secondaries exist as straight lines from midvein to near margin and then arch abruptly upward and enter into a margin vein.The tertiary veins are densely spaced and parallel,and are percurrent to secondary veins.This leaf architecture conforms with Berhamniphyllum Jones and Dilcher,an extinct fossil genus reported from America.Our fossils are characterized by their dense secondaries,with secondary veins on the upper half portion of the blade accounting for over 40%of all secondaries.A new species,Berhamniphyllum junrongiae Z.K.Zhou,T.X.Wang et J.Huang sp.nov.,is proposed.Further analysis shows that confident assignment among Rhamnidium,Berchemia,and Karwinskia cannot be made based on leaf characters alone.Berhamniphyllum might represent an extinct common ancestor of these genera.In this study,several fossil Berchemia from Yunnan and Shandong are emended and reassigned to Berhamniphyllum.A new complex,namely the Berchemia Complex,is proposed based on morphology,molecular evidence,and the fossil record.This complex contains the fossil leaves of Rhamnidium,Karwinskia,Berchemia,and Berhamniphyllum.The historical biogeography of the Berchemia Complex is also discussed in this paper.This complex might have originated in the late Cretaceous in Colombia,South America,and dispersed to North America via Central America during the Eocene.Subsequently,the complex moved from North America to East Asia via the Bering Land Bridge no later than the late Eocene.Besides,the complex migrated from North America to Europe via the North Atlantic Land Bridge and then migrated further to Africa.In East Asia,it first appeared in Markam on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau,and then dispersed to other regions of Asia.Zhekun ZHOU Tengxiang WANG Jian HUANG Jia LIU Weiyudong DENG Shihu LI Chenglong DENG Tao SU 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,2:4

4Calibration and adjustment of center of mass(COM) based on EKF during in-flight phase显示文摘The electrostatic accelerometer,assembled on gravity satellite,serves to measure all non-gravitational accelerations caused by atmosphere drag or solar radiation pressure,etc.The proof-mass center of the accelerometer needs to be precisely positioned at the center of gravity satellite,otherwise,the offset between them will bring measurement disturbance due to angular acceleration of satellite and gradient.Because of installation and measurement errors on the ground,fuel consumption during the in-flight phase and other adverse factors,the offset between the proof-mass center and the satellite center of mass is usually large enough to affect the measurement accuracy of the accelerometer,even beyond its range.Therefore,the offset needs to be measured or estimated,and then be controlled within the measurement requirement of the accelerometer by the center of mass(COM) adjustment mechanism during the life of the satellite.The estimation algorithm based on EKF,which uses the measurement of accelerometer,gyro and magnetometer,is put forward to estimate the offset,and the COM adjustment mechanism then adjusts the satellite center of mass in order to make the offset meet the requirement.With the special configuration layout,the COM adjustment mechanism driven by the stepper motors can separately regulate X,Y and Z axes.The associated simulation shows that the offset can be con-trolled better than 0.03 mm for all the axes with the method mentioned above.DONG Feng LIAO He JIA ChengLong XIA XiaoJing 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,5:1

6Turning ZrTe_5 into a semiconductor through atom intercalation显示文摘In this study we successfully intercalated potassium(K) atoms into single ZrTe_5 crystals by liquid ammonia method, and found a semimetal-to-semiconductor transition at low temperatures in K-intercalated ZrTe_5. As the K concentration increased, the resistance anomalous peak was gradually suppressed until finally disappearing. Whilst, the corresponding Hall resistance measurements consistently showed a sign reversal. 7Artificial intelligence optimization and controllable slow-release iron sulfide realizes efficient separation of copper and arsenic in strongly acidic wastewater显示文摘Iron sulfide(FeS)is a promising material for separating copper and arsenic from strongly acidic wastewater due to its S^(2-)slow-release effect.However,uncertainties arise because of the constant changes in wastewater composition,affecting the selection of operating parameters and FeS types.In this study,the aging method was first used to prepare various controllable FeS nanoparticles to weaken the arsenic removal ability without affecting the copper removal.Orthogonal experiments were conducted,and the results identified the Cu/As ratio,H_(2)SO_(4) concentration,and FeS dosage as the three main factors influencing the separation efficiency.The backpropagation artificial neural network(BP-ANN)model was established to determine the relationship between the influencing factors and the separation efficiency.The correlation coefficient(R)of overall model was 0.9923 after optimizing using genetic algorithm(GA).The BP-GA model was also solved using GA under specific constraints,predicting the best solution for the separation process in real-time.The predicted results show that the high temperature and long aging time of FeS were necessary to gain high separation efficiency,and the maximum separation factor can reached 1,400.This study provides a suitable sulfurizing material and a set of methods and models with robust flexibility that can successfully predict the separation efficiency of copper and arsenic from highly acidic environments.Xingfei Zhang Chenglong Lu Jia Tian Liqiang Zeng Yufeng Wang Wei Sun Haisheng Han Jianhua Kang 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,5:0

9Identification and Expression of the Conotoxin Homologous Genes in the Giant Triton Snail (Charonia tritonis)显示文摘Conotoxin(CTX)is a small peptide toxin,and plays crucial role in anesthetizes prey,preys and defends competitors.Charonia tritonis is the natural predator of the crown of thorns starfish(CoTS)and the protector of coral reefs.It plays an important role in the coral reef ecosystem.However,the types of toxins produced by tritons and the molecular mechanisms of toxin secretion of C.tritonis are unknown.In the present study,the four conotoxin homologous genes(CTXs)from C.tritonis were identified.Species and conotoxin superfamily phylogenetic tree indicated that CTX-1(CL2216.Contig2)and CTX-4(Unigene 58438_All)belong to the C superfamily,CTX-2(Unigene 66414_All)belong to the V superfamily,and CTX-3(Unigene 21408_All)belong to the B1 superfamily.CTXs were highly expressed in salivary gland,liver and digestive gland.The predation control experiment revealed that the expressions of CTXs were significantly different in salivary gland,liver and digestive gland.The results indicated that CTXs may participate in the process of C.tritonis predating CoTs,and provided a scientific basis for further studying the toxins secretion mechanism of C.tritonis.JIA Huixia ZHANG Gege ZHANG Chenglong ZHANG Hua YAO Gaoyou HE Maoxian LIU Wenguang 2023Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,1:0
10Assessment of immune responses and intestinal flora in BALB/c mice model of wheat food allergy via different sensitization methods显示文摘Increasing incidences showed that food allergies have attracted more and more attention from researchers.BALB/c mice were sensitized with wheat gluten combined with aluminum hydroxide adjuvant via intraperitoneal injection,transdermal sensitization,and oral gavage sensitization route.Results showed that all the three sensitization methods could induce allergic symptoms;increase the serum antibody(total immunoglobulin E(IgE),specific IgE,IgG,IgA)and histamine content;promote the secretion of Th2 cytokines(interleukin(IL)-4,IL-5,IL-13)and inflammatory factors(IL-6,IL-17 A,IL-10);and inhibit the production of Th1 cytokines(IFN-γ,IL-2).However,the allergic symptoms of mice sensitized by intraperitoneal injection were the most obvious among the three models.The level of serum antibodies in intraperitoneal injection group was significantly higher than control.Subsequently,16 S rRNA sequencing technology was used to analyze the intestinal flora of mice.The results showed that the abundance of Firmicutes in the wheat protein sensitized group was lower than that in the normal group,while the abundance of Bacteroidetes was higher,and Lactobacillus was the difference marker in normal group.Bacterial species diversity analysis showed that the species richness and diversity of intestinal flora in mice were decreased,the difference between mice induced by intraperitoneal injection and normal control group mice was the most significant.Taken together,these results show that among three sensitization methods used to build a mouse model with aluminum hydroxide as adjuvant,intraperitoneal injection is the comparably best way to build a mouse sensitization mode.Chenglong Liu Chen Chen Xingyu Yan Shimin Gu Xin Jia Wenhui Fu Xiao Meng Wentong Xue 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,3:0

12Chiral logic computing with twisted antiferromagnetic magnon modes显示文摘Antiferromagnetic(AFM)materials offer an exciting platform for ultrafast information handling with low cross-talks and compatibility with existing technology.Particularly interesting for low-energy cost computing is the spin wave-based realization of logic gates,which has been demonstrated experimentally for ferromagnetic waveguides.Here,we predict chiral magnonic eigenmodes with a finite intrinsic,magnonic orbital angular momentumℓin AFM waveguides.ℓis an unbounded integer determined by the spatial topology of the mode.We show how these chiral modes can serve for multiplex AFM magnonic computing by demonstrating the operation of several symmetry-and topology-protected logic gates.A Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction may arise at the waveguide boundaries,allowing coupling to external electric fields and resulting in a Faraday effect.The uncovered aspects highlight the potential of AFM spintronics for swift data communication and handling with high fidelity and at a low-energy cost.Chenglong Jia Min Chen Alexander F.Schäffer Jamal Berakdar 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:0
