1Karst Cave Tourism System in Zhejiang Province Based on Resource Regional Analysis显示文摘Karst cave tourism plays an important role in the overall tourism of Zhejiang Province,China.In analyzing the current status of karst cave tourism resources,it is crucial to develop a scientific system for optimizing resource exploitation and tourism development in the future.This study conducted an analysis of resource characteristics and regional structure in Zhejiang Province.Nearest neighbor index(NNI) method and accessibility index method were used for a comprehensive understanding of the effects of scale,strength,combination,and accessibility of karst cave tourism resources.Results indicated that karst cave tourism resources in Zhejiang Province have a significant regional influence,and that resource quality and exploitation are diverse in different regions.Among the regions,Jinhua had the highest exploitation proportion of over 60% and the lowest NNI value of 0.098.Furthermore,regional analysis inferred that different karst caves demonstrate diversity in accessibility to tourism markets,among which the Lingshan Cave,Fengshui Cave,and Xianqiao Cave reveal the highest accessibility index of 2.41.Finally,we put forward a karst cave tourism system in Zhejiang Province based on the Growth Pole Theory and set up an overall scheme for karst cave tourism development.From a regional perspective analysis,the study refined the methods for regional resource research and provided a strategic proposal for karst cave tourism in Zhejiang Province.JIN Pingbin FU Zhiwei BAN Maosheng 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,4:3
2Spatio-temporal Dynamics of Urbanization in China Using DMSP/OLS Nighttime Light Data from 1992–2013显示文摘Understanding the dynamics of urbanization is essential to the sustainable development of cities. Meanwhile the analysis of urban development can also provide scientifically and effective information for decision-making. With the long-term Defense Meteorological Satellite Program’s Operational Linescan System(DMSP/OLS) nighttime light images, a pixel level assessment of urbanization of China from 1992 to 2013 was conducted in this study, and the spatio-temporal dynamics and future trends of urban development were fully detected. The results showed that the urbanization and urban dynamics of China experienced drastic fluctuations from 1992 to 2013, especially for those in the coastal and metropolitan areas. From a regional perspective, it was found that the urban dynamics and increasing trends in North Coast China, East Coast China and South Coast China were much more stable and significant than that in other regions. Moreover, with the sustainability estimating of nighttime light dynamics, the regional agglomeration trends of urban regions were also detected. The light intensity in nearly 50% of lighted pixels may continuously decrease in the future, indicating a severe situation of urbanization within these regions. 3Industrial Arrangement of Large-scale,Non-grid-connected Wind Power Industrial Zones in Coastal Areas of China显示文摘Constructing an industrial system for a large-scale,non-grid-connected wind power industry is a key step towards the diverse utilization of wind power.However,wind power exploitation is not only a technical challenge but an industrial problem as well.The objective of this study is to introduce a concept of large-scale,non-grid-connected wind power(LSNGCWP) industrial zones and establish an evaluation model to assess their industrial arrangement.The data of wind energy,industry,nature resources and socio-economy were collected in this study.Using spatial overlay analysis of geographic information system,this study proposes a spatial arrangement of the LSNGCWP indus-trial zones in the coastal areas of China,which could be summarized as the 'one line and three circles' structure,which will contribute to the optimization of the industrial structure,advance the wind power technology,coordinate the multi-industrial cooperation,and upgrade the industrial transformation of China's coastal areas.JIN Pingbin FU Zhiwei BAN Maosheng 2012Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,1:0
4Differences and dynamics of multidimensional poverty in rural China from multiple perspectives analysis显示文摘Absolute poverty was completely eliminated in China in 2020.However,poverty measured by income does not fully reflect the actual situation.This paper analyses multidimensional poverty and its dynamics in rural China from perspectives of region,terrain,and geographical location during 2010–2018.We use the Chinese Family Panel Survey data,adopt the Alkire-Foster method and improve the multidimensional poverty index(MPI),calculating and comparing multidimensional poverty and its dynamics among 3009 rural households.In addition,the contribution of the indicator to multidimensional poverty is decomposed.The results indicate that multidimensional poverty has obvious regional differences,topographical differences,and geographical differences.Moreover,the targeted poverty alleviation policy has a significant impact on multidimensional poverty eradication,and the rate of decline of the MPI during 2016–2018 is significantly greater than that of 2010–2014.Education contributes more than 50%to the MPI.In general,the proportion of households with persistent multidimensional poverty is higher than temporary multidimensional poverty,and temporary multidimensional poverty is higher than no multidimensional poverty.These results obtained from a large scale,long time and multiple perspectives could offer new insights for the government to further consolidate the results of poverty alleviation while offering China’s experience to other developing countries.WANG Bingbing LUO Qing CHEN Guangping ZHANG Zhe JIN Pingbin 2022Journal of Geographical Sciences2022,32,7:0
