| 4 | New dammarane-type saponins from the leaves of Panax notoginseng显示文摘Two new triterpenoid saponins named notoginsenoside-Ng3(1) and notoginsenoside-Ng4(2) along with three known saponins (3-5), were isolated from a water extract of the leaves of Panax notoginseng. Their structures were elucidated by HRESIMS, NMR, X-ray techniques and acid hydrolysis. Moreover,compound 2 was characterized with the conjugated double bonds side-chain, which was rarely found in this plant. The absolute configuration of notoginsenoside Fa (3) with five sugars was confirmed by the single-crystal X-ray diffraction for the first time. | 6 | High-precision thermal ionization mass spectrometry dating of young volcanic rocks by using U-series method显示文摘A high precision thermal ionization mass spectrometric (HP-TIMS) technique is used to determine 238U,234U,232Th,230Th concentrations and their ratios in whole rocks and minerals separated from Ouaternary Maanshan, Dayingshan and Heikongshan volcanic rocks of Tengchong volcanic field .Yunnan Province, China. The 238U-230Th isochrons are given, yielding four age values (227 ? 20) ka (D-1, Dayingshan), (79.6 ±5.5) ka (D-7, Dayingshan), (21.9 ± 3.0) ka (h-1, Heikongshan), and (7.5 ± 1.0) ka (M-1, Maanshan). The result is not only consistent with but also preciser than those measured by the K-Ar method and the alpha spectrometry U-series method, indicating that the HP-TIMS method is reliable and has high precision. | 7 | Discriminating between photorealistic computer graphics and natural images using fractal geometry显示文摘Rendering technology in computer graphics (CG) is now capable of producing highly photorealistic images,giving rise to the problem of how to identify CG images from natural images. Some methods were proposed to solve this problem. In this paper,we give a novel method from a new point of view of image perception. Although the photorealistic CG images are very similar to natural images,they are surrealistic and smoother than natural images,thus leading to the difference in perception. A part of features are derived from fractal dimension to capture the difference in color perception between CG images and natural images,and several generalized dimensions are used as the rest features to capture difference in coarseness. | 8 | Corslet: A shared storage system keeping your data private显示文摘With the exponential growth of digital data, it is becoming more and more popular to store data in shared distributed storage systems inside the same organization. In such shared distributed storage systems, an ordinary user usually does not have the control permission over the whole system, and thus cannot secure data storage or data sharing of his own files. To solve this issue, this paper proposes a new system architecture to secure file storing and sharing efficiently over untrusted shared storage and network environments. Based on this architecture, this paper designs and implements a stackable secure storage system called Corslet. Corslet can run directly on deployed underlying storage systems without modification, while bringing end-to-end confidentiality and integrity as well as efficient access control for user data. For individual users, Corslet is easy to use, and does not require users to maintain or manage any keys on their client machines locally. | 13 | Carrier Cells for Delivery of Oncolytic Measles Virus into Tumors:Determinants of Efficient Loading显示文摘Oncolytic measles virus(OMV) is a promising antitumor agent. However, the presence of anti-measles neutralizing antibodies(NAbs) against the hemagglutinin(H) protein of OMV is a major barrier to the therapeutic application of OMV in clinical practice. In order to overcome this challenge, specific types of cells have been used as carriers for OMV.Differential loading strategies appear to result in different therapeutic outcomes; despite this, only few studies have reported practical ex vivo loading strategies required for effective treatment. To this end, we systematically evaluated the antitumor efficacy of OMV using different loading strategies; this involved varying the in vitro loading duration and loading dose of OMV. We found that improved oncolysis of carrier cells was achieved by a prolonged loading duration in the absence of NAbs. However, the enhanced oncolytic effect was abrogated in the presence of NAbs. Further, we found that the expression of H protein on the surface of carrier cells was predominantly determined by the loading duration rather than the loading dose. Finally, we showed that NAbs blocked viral transfer by targeting H protein prior to the occurrence of cell-to-cell interactions. | 14 | A framework for identifying shifted double JPEG compression artifacts with application to non-intrusive digital image forensics显示文摘Non-intrusive digital image forensics(NIDIF)is a novel approach to authenticate the trustworthiness of digital images.It works by exploring varieties of intrinsic characteristics involved in the digital imaging,editing,storing processes as discriminative features to reveal the subtle traces left by a malicious fraudster.The NIDIF for the lossy JPEG image format is of special importance for its pervasive application.In this paper,we propose an NIDIF framework for the JPEG images.The framework involves two complementary identification methods for exposing shifted double JPEG(SD-JPEG)compression artifacts,including an improved ICA-based method and a First Digits Histogram based method.They are designed to treat the detectable conditions and a few special undetectable conditions separately.Detailed theoretical justifications are provided to reveal the relationship between the detectability of the artifacts and some intrinsic statistical characteristics of natural image signal.The extensive experimental results have shown the efectiveness of the proposed methods.Furthermore,some case studies are also given to demonstrate how to reveal certain types of image manipulations,such as cropping,splicing,or both,with our framework. | QU ZhenHua LUO WeiQi HUANG JiWu | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014，57，2： | 2 |
