1Peat record reflecting Holo-cene climatic change in the Zoige Plateau and AMS radiocarbon dating显示文摘Through the use of reliable AMS dating of high resolution (15-30 years) peat and the establishment of monsoon climate proxies sequence, we have been able to recognize several cold, dry events in the Tibetan Plateau during the Holocene. The more obvious ones occurred around 12800, 11300, 10200, 9580, 8900, 6400, 4400, 3700, 2800 and 1500 cal. aBP. These events correlate well with both ice rafting events recorded in high latitude North Atlantic Ocean sediment cores and cooling events in the low latitude SST. Spectral analysis indicates high frequency climate variation on centennial-millennial time scale during the Holocene. 2Remediation of Heavy Metal-Polluted Agricultural Soils Using Clay Minerals: A Review显示文摘Heavy metal contamination of agricultural soils poses risks and hazards to humans. The remediation of heavy metal-polluted soils has become a hot topic in environmental science and engineering. In this review, the application of clay minerals for the remediation of heavy metal-polluted agricultural soils is summarized, in terms of their remediation effects and mechanisms, influencing factors,and future focus. Typical clay minerals, natural sepiolite, palygorskite, and bentonite, have been widely utilized for the in-situ immobilization of heavy metals in soils, especially Cd-polluted paddy soils and wastewater-irrigated farmland soils. Clay minerals are able to increase soil p H, decrease the chemical-extractable fractions and bioavailability of heavy metals in soils, and reduce the heavy metal contents in edible parts of plants. The immobilization effects have been confirmed in field-scale demonstrations and pot trials. Clay minerals can improve the environmental quality of soils and alleviate the hazards of heavy metals to plants. As main factors affecting the immobilization effects, the p H and water condition of soils have drawn academic attention. The remediation mechanisms mainly include liming, precipitation, and sorption effects. However, the molecular mechanisms of microscopic immobilization are unclear. 4Interannual variability of Mascarene high and Australian high and their influences on summer rainfall over East Asia显示文摘Based on the reanalysis data fromNCEP/NCAR and other observational data, interannualvariability of Mascarene high (MH) and Australian high (AH) from 1970 to 1999 is examined. It is shown that interannual variability of MH is dominated by the Antarctic oscillation (AAO), when the circumpolar low in the high southern lati-tudes deepens, the intensity of MH will be intensified. On the other hand, AH is correlated by AAO as well as El Nio and South Oscillation (ENSO), the intensity of AH will be inten-sified when El Nio occurs. Both correlation analysis andcase study demonstrate that summer rainfall over East Asia is closely related to MH and AH. When MH intensifies from boreal spring to summer (i.e. from austral autumn to winter)there is more rainfall over regions from the Yangtze Rivervalley to Japan, in contrast, less rainfall is found over south-ern China and western Pacific to the east of Taiwan, andmost of regions in mid-latitudes of East Asia. Compared with MH, the effect of AH on summer rainfall in East Asia is lim-ited to localized regions, there is more rainfall over southern China with the intensification of AH. The results in this study show that AAO is a strong signal on interannual time-scale, which plays an important role in summer rainfall over East Asia. 5A Control Strategy for Grid-connected Inverters With LCL Filters显示文摘把LCL滤波器作为电压源型并网逆变器与电网的接口已受到广泛关注。与单电感L滤波器相比,利用电感值较小的LCL滤波器对入网电流的高次谐波具有显著的衰减效果,特别是在低开关频率的大功率并网逆变系统应用中更具明显优势,但是仅采用直接入网电流控制时,LCL滤波器接口的并网逆变器系统存在稳定性问题。该文采用电网侧电感电流和逆变侧电感电流双闭环控制策略对并网电流进行直接控制,电网侧电感电流作为外环更容易抑制并网电流的谐波因素,且可以直接控制入网电流的单位功率因数,采用逆变器侧电感电流作为内环可以增加系统阻尼,从而可抑制系统振荡,增加系统稳定性。对该方案进行系统建模,并深入分析了滤波器参数、控制器参数及系统稳定性之间的精确量化关系。仿真和实验结果表明,该控制策略既可有效抑制入网电流谐振和实现进网电流的高功率因数运行,同时又具有良好的稳态和动态性能。HU Xuefeng WEI Zheng CHEN Yihan GONG Chunying ZHANG Jiayan 2012中国电机工程学报2012,32,27:37
6Clinical significance of serum miR-21 in breast cancer compared with CA153 and CEA显示文摘Objective:MicroRNA-21(miR-21)has been shown to be a key regulator of carcinogenesis.There were few reports about the comparison of serum miR-21 with conventional tumor markers.This study aimed to explore the diagnostic value of circulating miR-21 as a tumor marker in breast cancer(BC)and compare it with CA153 and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA).Methods:Circulating miR-16 and miR-21 were amplified and quantitatively detected by real-time PCR in 89 BC patients and 55 healthy controls.The levels of CA153 and CEA were measured through electrochemiluminescence assays.Then the sensitivity in diagnosis of BC was compared among miR-21,CA153 and CEA.Results:The level of serum miR-21 was significantly higher in BC patients than controls(P<0.001).The sensitivity and specificity of miR-21 were 87.6%and 87.3%,respectively,whereas the sensitivities of CEA and CA153 were only 22.47%and 15.73%.Conclusions:Compared with CEA and CA153,serum miR-21 has a higher sensitivity in diagnosis of BC.Although not correlated with the status of ER,PR and clinical stages,serum miR-21 may be a potential diagnostic indicator for BC,especially for the early stage.Jianjian Gao Qingyun Zhang Jianjun Xu Lijuan Guo Xuefeng Li 2013Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2013,25,6:36
7Relationship between the later strong gas-charging and the improvement of the reservoir capacity in deep Ordovician carbonate reservoir in Tazhong area, Tarim Basin显示文摘Some large-scale oil-gas fields have recently been discovered in marine carbonate in China, especially the significant discoveries in deep reservoir that reveals a favorable exploration prospect. Tazhong area is the first-order tectonic unit in Tarim Basin, where there are nearly trillion cubic meters of natural gas resources in the Ordovician limestone reef flat complex in Lianglitage Formation. The reservoir is shelf edge reef flat complex, characterized by ultra-low porosity, low permeability and strong heterogeneous, with a current burial depth of 4500―6500 m. Studies find that the formation and distribution of deep reservoir of the Lianglitage Formation were controlled not only by the early high-energy sedimentary facies and corrosion, but the fracture network formed by the strong gas-charging process since the Himalayan epoch, which played an important role in optimizing and improving reservoir properties. 10A Regional Ocean Reanalysis System for Coastal Waters of China and Adjacent Seas显示文摘A regional ocean reanalysis system for the coastal waters of China and adjacent seas has been developed by the National Marine Data and Information Service(NMDIS).It produces a dataset package called CORA (China ocean reanalysis).The regional ocean model used is based on the Princeton Ocean Model with a generalized coordinate system(POMgcs).The model is parallelized by NMDIS with the addition of the wave breaking and tidal mixing processes into model parameterizations.Data assimilation is a sequential three-dimensional variational(3D-Var) scheme implemented within a multigrid framework.Observations include satellite remote sensing sea surface temperature(SST),altimetry sea level anomaly(SLA),and temperature/salinity profiles.The reanalysis fields of sea surface height,temperature,salinity,and currents begin with January 1986 and are currently updated every year. 11Dopant-Controlled Synthesis of Water-Soluble Hexagonal NaYF_(4) Nanorods with Efficient Upconversion Fluorescence for Multicolor Bioimaging显示文摘A novel strategy is proposed to directly synthesize water-soluble hexagonal NaYF4 nanorods by doping rare-earth ions with large ionic radius (such as La^(3+), Ce^(3+), Pr^(3+), Nd^(3+), Sm^(3+), Eu^(3+), and Gd^(3+)), and the dopant- controlled growth mechanism is studied. Based on the doping effect, we fabricated water-soluble hexagonal NaYF4:(Yb,Er)/La and NaYF4:(Yb,Er)/Ce nanorods, which exhibited much brighter upconversion fluorescence than the corresponding cubic forms. The sizes of the nanorods can be adjusted over a broad range by changing the dopant concentration and reaction time. 12Red blood cell membrane-camouflaged nanoparticles: a novel drug delivery system for antitumor application显示文摘Erythrocytes(red blood cells, RBCs) are the most abundant circulating cells in the blood and have been widely used in drug delivery systems(DDS) because of their features of biocompatibility,biodegradability, and long circulating half-life. Accordingly, a 'camouflage' comprised of erythrocyte membranes renders nanoparticles as a platform that combines the advantages of native erythrocyte membranes with those of nanomaterials. Following injection into the blood of animal models, the coated nanoparticles imitate RBCs and interact with the surroundings to achieve long-term circulation. In this review, the biomimetic platform of erythrocyte membrane-coated nano-cores is described with regard to various aspects, with particular focus placed on the coating mechanism, preparation methods, verification methods, and the latest anti-tumor applications. 13Immune response,stress resistance and bacterial challenge in juvenile rainbow trouts Oncorhynchus mykiss fed diets containing chitosan-oligosaccharides显示文摘Effects of dietary supplementation of chitosan-oligosaccharides(COS)on the growth performance,immune response,stress resistance,and disease resistance of juvenile rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss were studied.Four experimental diets containing 0,20,40,or 60 mg/kg COS(COS0,COS20,COS40,and COS60,respectively)were fed to juvenile rainbow trout(initial weight=5.2±0.3 g)for 8 weeks.By the end of the feeding trial,representative groups of fish from each dietary treatment were challenged with stressor(30 sec air exposure)and pathogen exposure(intraperitoneal injection with Aeromonas hydrophila).Results showed that supplementation of COS in diets did not affect production performance and body composition of rainbow trout.However,fish fed the COS40 diet demonstrated improved phagocytic activities,respiratory burst activities and decreased serum cortisol level.Additionally,survival following A.hydrophila challenge was significant higher among fish fed the COS-supplemented feeds,although there was no difference based on the level of supplementation.The present study suggests that COS can be used as an immuno-stimulant in rainbow trout feeds.Lin LUO Xuefeng CAI Chuan HE Min XUE Xiufeng WU Haining CAO 2009Current Zoology2009,55,6:22

15In vitro differentiation of adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells into neuronal-like cells显示文摘Adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells were co-cultured with untreated or Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells, or grown in supernatant derived from untreated or Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. Analysis by western blot and quantitative real-time PCR showed that protein levels of Nanog, Oct4, and Sox2, and mRNA levels of miR/125a/3p were decreased, while expression of insulin-like growth factor-2 and neuron specific enolase was increased. In comparison, the generation of neuron specific enolase-positive cells was most successful when adipose-derived stem cells were co-cultured with Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells. Our results demonstrate that adipose-derived stem cells and bone marrow-derived stromal stem cells exhibit trends of neuronal-like cell differentiation after co-culture with Aβ1-40-treated PC12 cells.
