2Rural E-commerce and New Model of Rural Development in China:A Comparative Study of 'Taobao Village' in Jiangsu Province显示文摘With the development of electronic commerce,there is a special phenomenon in rural areas of China that a lot of farmers in these areas depend on opening shops on Taobao online for a living. The products are made from the village workshop,and farmers become fullyfledged network businessmen. Electronic business platform mode of ' Taobao Village' is the result of integrated development of primary,secondary and tertiary industries. In this study,we take two kinds of typical Taobao villages( Dongfeng Village and Yanxia Village) as sample areas,and conduct comparative analysis of this new rural business model based on field survey data,case studies and theoretical research. 3Land Use Effects on the Distribution and Speciation of Heavy Metals and Arsenic in Coastal Soils on Chongming Island in the Yangtze River Estuary, China显示文摘The reclamation of tidal flats has been one of the important approaches to replenish the arable lands in the coastal areas; pollution status of reclaimed soils has received wide attention recently, especially for the study of heavy metals due to the relative high pollutant concentrations in wetlands. To understand the impact of land use change on heavy metal and arsenic(As) geochemistry by the reclamation of wetlands for agriculture, surface soils and soil profiles were collected from the agricultural land reclaimed in the 1990 s and the intertidal flat wetland at Dongtan on Chongming Island in the Yangtze River Estuary, China. The soil samples were analyzed for total concentrations and chemical speciation of chromium(Cr), zinc(Zn), copper(Cu), lead(Pb), nickel(Ni), cadmium(Cd) and As using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS). Results showed that soil properties(salinity, total organic carbon and grain-size distribution) and the concentrations of heavy metals and As in the soils differed under the different land use types. The conversion of wetland to forest had caused obvious losses of all the measured heavy metals. In paddy field and dryland with frequent cultivation, the concentrations of Cr, Zn, Cu, Ni and As were higher when compared to forest land which was disturbed rarely by human activities. Speciation analysis showed that Cr, Zn, Cu, Ni and As were predominated by the immobile residual fraction, while Pb and Cd showed relatively higher mobility. In general, metal(except Ni) and As mobility decreased in the following order: wetland> dryland ≥ paddy field > forest land, which suggested that the reclaimed soils had lower metal and As mobility than the intertidal flat wetland. 4Entransy dissipation/loss-based optimization of two-stage organic Rankine cycle(TSORC)with R245fa for geothermal power generation显示文摘Based on organic Rankine cycle(ORC), the two-stage evaporation strategy is adopted to replace the single-stage evaporation to improve the system performance. In order to evaluate the temperature matching of the two-stage evaporation, a theoretical optimization model was established to optimize the two stage organic Rankine cycle(TSORC) based on the entransy theory and thermodynamics, with the ratio of the entransy dissipation rate of the TSORC to that of the ORC as the objective function. This paper aims to illuminate the improving degree of the system performance of the TSORC. The results show that the TSORC enhances the average evaporating temperature, thereby reducing the entransy dissipation rate in the evaporator and the total entransy dissipation rate. The maximal net power output is proportional to the entransy loss rate and inversely proportional to the entransy dissipation rate. However, compared with the ORC, the TSORC can output more power but requires a higher total thermal conductance. Moreover, there exists an optimal intermediate geothermal water temperature(IGWT) to maximize the net power output of the TSORC. 5Premature Tapetum Degeneration: a Major Cause of Abortive Pollen Development in Photoperiod Sensitive Genic Male Sterility in Rice显示文摘Photoperiod-sensitive genic male-sterile (PSGMS) rice (Oryza sativa L.), a natural mutant found in the rice cultivar Nongken 58, is very useful for the development of hybrid rice cultivars. Despite its widespread use in breeding programs, the initial stage of the abortive development of PSGMS rice and the possible cytological mechanisms of pollen abortion have not been determined. In the present study, a systematic cytological comparison of the anther development of PSGMS rice with its normal fertile counterpart is conducted. The results show that pollen abortion in PSGMS rice first occurs before the pollen mother cell (PMC) stage, and continues during the entire process of pollen development until pollen degradation. The abortive process was closely associated with the abnormal behavior of the tapetum. Although tapetum degeneration in PSGMS rice initiates already at the PMC stage, it proceeds slowly and does not complete until the breakdown of the pollen. 6Analysis and Design of Four-Plate Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer System for Undersea Applications显示文摘This paper presents a four-plate undersea capacitive wireless power transfer(CPT)system for underwater applications such as autonomous underwater vehicles(AUVs).Generally,a CPT system transfers the power based on electric fields.The complex resonant compensation networks are used to make the CPT system work in the resonant condition.The resonant voltage is always very high.It will be a big challenge to the human safety.In this paper,a virtual electrons periodic reciprocating flow theory is proposed for the CPT system.In one switching cycle,the electrons firstly flow in the forward direction through the forward path and then flow in the inverse direction through the inverse path.The CPT system has been deeply studied with the vacuum dielectric or the air dielectric.However,for the CPT system,there are few papers to show the underwater application.In this paper,an undersea four-plate CPT system is designed and studied in the underwater condition.The two coupling capacitors and other elements of the CPT system could build a closed-loop path.A small value inductor is adapted as a resonant compensation network for the four-plate CPT system.The DC voltage is inverted to the AC voltage in the primary side with the single-phase full-bridge inverter.The resonant voltage is rectified to the DC voltage in the secondary side with the single-phase full-bridge diode rectifier.A 100 W power level CPT system is constructed to verify the theory analysis and the calculation.The theory analysis is verified by the simulated and experimental results.The stable output voltage and load power are achieved in this paper.Lei Yang Yuanqi Zhang Xiaojie Li Jiale Jian Zhe Wang Jingjing Huang Li Ma Xiangqian Tong 2021CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems2021,5,3:9
7Design and experimental study of a practical Osculating Inward Cone Waverider Inlet显示文摘A design method based on tip to tail streamline tracing and osculating inward cone methods is discussed for designing the integrated Osculating Inward Cone Waverider Inlet(OICWI). A practical geometrical constrained experimental model of OICWI is designed based on the validated design method. It has a total contraction ratio of 4.61 and inner contraction ratio is 2.0. Wind-tunnel tests have been conducted for the OICWI model at free stream Mach number(Ma_∞) of 4.0, 3.5 and 3.0 respectively. The experimental results show that the OICWI has high flow capture ratio and compression abilities. It can self-start at Ma_∞= 3.5 and 4.0 and its flow capture ratio is 0.73 at Ma_∞= 4.0, and Angle of Attack(AOA) 0°. The research results show that the OICWI has advantages of inward cone waverider and streamline tracing inlet. 8Simultaneous attack of a stationary target using multiple missiles: a consensus-based approach显示文摘This paper considers the simultaneous attack problem of multiple missiles against a stationary target. Built upon the classic proportional navigation structure, we propose a consensus-based approach to design the cooperative guidance law. Specifically, we present time-varying navigation ratios for the missiles,which exchange the time-to-go estimates between neighboring missiles via a communication network. For the cases where the communication topology is undirected or in the leader–follower structure with a missile acting as the leader whose navigation ratio cannot be tuned, we show that the proposed cooperative guidance law can solve the simultaneous attack problem. 9Design and key parameter optimization of an agitated soybean seed metering device with horizontal seed filling显示文摘Since the low seed filling speed of mechanical seed metering devices reduces the low qualified rate of seed spacing during high-speed practices,it is significant to design agitated seed metering devices with horizontal seed filling that are suitable for high-speed practices.The combination of horizontal seed filling and agitated seed filling can accelerate the seed filling of mechanical seed metering devices,and improve the qualified rate of seed spacing during high-speed practices.In this study,theoretical analysis,discrete element method-based simulation and indoor bench test verification were conducted to investigate how key parameters of the agitated seed metering device with horizontal seed filling(angles,installation position and number of agitating plates,diameters of convex spoons)would affect the characteristics of soybean seed movement,seed number and seeding performance(qualified index,multiple index,missing seeding index)under different working speeds.Computer-based simulation,test design and regression analysis were combined to analyze the population moving rules and optimize the design parameters of seed metering devices.Based on the test scheme as designed,simulations were conducted on Fluent EDEM,and the optimal angle of the agitating plates was determined by analyzing the population migrating rules.Regression equations were established through the regression of test results,and used to find out the optimal design parameters(diameter of convex spoon,positions and number of agitating plates)of seed metering devices.Then the optimal parameter combination among different working conditions was determined that the angle,position and number of agitating plates were 30°,24.4 mm,and 13,respectively,and the diameter of convex spoon was 11.0 mm.With the optimal parameter combination and at the seeding speed of 12 km/h,the qualified index,multiple index and missing seeding index were 93.1%,2.1%and 4.8%,respectively.Under high-speed practices,the new seed metering device was not significantly different from the pneumatic seed metering device,but significantly outperformed the mechanical seed metering device.Honglei Jia Yulong Chen Jiale Zhao Mingzhuo Guo Dongyan Huang Jian Zhuang 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,2:8

11Genome-wide identification and co-expression network analysis of the Os NF-Y gene family in rice显示文摘Nuclear factor Y(NF-Y) is a ubiquitous transcription factor that regulates important physiological and developmental processes. In this study, we identified 34 Os NF-Y genes in rice, including 6 newly identified genes. Expression profile analysis covering the whole life cycle revealed that transcripts of Os NF-Y differentially accumulated in a tissue-specific,preferential or constitutive manner. In addition, gene duplication studies and expression analyses were performed to determine the evolutionary origins of the Os NF-Y gene family.Nine Os NF-Y genes were differentially expressed after treatment of seedlings with one or more abiotic stresses such as drought, salt and cold. Analysis of expression correlation and Gene Ontology annotation suggested that Os NF-Y genes were co-expressed with genes that participated in stress, accumulation of seed storage reserves, and plant development.Co-expression analysis also revealed that Os NF-Y genes might interact with each other,suggesting that NF-Y subunits formed complexes that take part in transcriptional regulation. 12Cobalt atoms dispersed on hierarchical carbon nitride support as the cathode electrocatalyst for high-performance lithium-polysulfide batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries are promising candidates for next-generation energy storage but are confronted with several challenges. One of the possible solutions is to design proper cathode electrocatalysts to accelerate the redox interconversion of solvated polysulfide intermediates. Herein, we report cobalt atoms dispersed on hierarchical carbon nitride support as an effective cathode electrocatalyst for lithium-polysulfide batteries. The electrocatalyst material is prepared from the simple reaction between melamine and cyanuric acid in the presence of Co^2+, followed by the Ar annealing. The product has a unique hierarchical structure consisting of many thin and porous C3 N4 nanosheets finely dispersed with Co atoms. The atomic dispersion of Co species is confirmed by X-ray absorption experiments.Electrochemical measurements reveal that it can promote the interconversion of polysulfides. 13Evaluation of paliperidone on social function in patients with chronic schizophrenia显示文摘Background The impairment of social function is widespread in the patients with chronic schizophrenia, which seriously affects family, life and work conditions.Aims The main purpose of this study was to investigate the efficacy of paliperidone in the treatment of social function in chronic schizophrenia.Methods A total of 81 patients who met the standard criteria for schizophrenia and long-term hospitalised inpatients were randomly divided into the treatment group and normal control group following a 1-year prospective follow-up study. The reatment group(41 cases) used paliperidone extended-release tablets for reducing dosage, as appropriate, based on the original treatment strategy; and the control group(40 cases) used the former drugs. All patients were assessed using the Positive and Negative Symptom Scales(PANSS), and the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale(TESS) was used to assess adverse drug reactions. The Hospitalised Psychiatric Patients' Social Functions Rating Scale(SSPI) was used to assess social function of participants before and after 8 weeks, 6 months and 1 year of treatment.Results At baseline there were no significant differences between the two groups in age, duration of illness, educational background and dosage of antipsychotic drugs(converted into chlorpromazine equivalency). There was statistically significant difference in PANSS positive symptoms by interaction effect(Fgroup×time=18.24, df=3237, p<0.001) and time effect(Ftime=21.66, df=3, p<0.01) and the difference in PANSS positive symptoms by grouping effect(Fgroup=0.68, df=1, p=0.41) was not statistically significant. The difference of grouping effect of PANSS negative symptoms(Fgroup=9.93, df=1, p=0.002), time effect(Ftime=279.15, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=279.15, df=3237, p<0.001) were statistically significant. There were statistically significant differences in the grouping effect(Fgroup=6.59, df=1, p=0.012), time effect(Ftime=152.97, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=148.82, df=3237, p<0.001) of PANSS general pathological symptoms, the same as the total score of the PANSS, which showed large differences in grouping effect(Fgroup=7.04, df=1, p=0.001), time effect(Ftime=210.78, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=205.20, df=3237, p<0.01). We found in the total SSPI score, grouping effect(Fgroup=31.70, df=1, p<0.001), time effect(Ftime=161.84, df=3, p<0.001) and interaction effect(Fgroup×time=132.74, df=3237, p<0.001) were demonstrated to be significantly different. 16Hic74,a novel alanine and glycine rich matrix protein related to nacreous layer formation in the mollusc Hyriopsis cumingii显示文摘Organic matrix proteins play an important role in the biomineralization of mollusc shells.We have identified and characterized a novel matrix protein,namely hic74,isolated from the mantle of the freshwater mussel Hyriopsis cumingii.The hic74 gene encodes a 850 amino acid protein that is rich in alanine(ala,30.8%),glycine(gly,25.8%)and serine(ser,10.6%),with ala mainly existing in poly-ala forms within the ala/gly-rich regions.Quantitative PCR expression analysis demonstrated that hic74 was specifically amplified from the mantle and in situ hybridization showed a strong signal in the epithelial cells in the pallial region of the mantle.Lower levels of expression were detected during the early stages of pearl sac formation but increased and remained constant during nacreous layer formation suggesting that hic74 might be involved in this process.Xiaojun Liu Can Jin Leiming Wu Shaojian Dong Shimei Zeng Jiale Li 2017Aquaculture and Fisheries2017,2,3:6
17How cat lands: insights into contribution of the forelimbs and hindlimbs to attenuating impact force显示文摘To safely land after different drops, cats can perfectly use their limbs as dampers to dissipate impact forces. Yet, we know little about the contribution of the forelimbs and hindlimbs of cats to attenuating the impact forces during landing. In order to investigate this, we analyzed the landing impulses and energy absorption based on the ground reaction forces and high-speed video recordings of cats performing self-initiated jump downs at different heights. Our results show that the distribution of impact forces between forelimbs and hindlimbs exhibits a landing height-dependent manner. Furthermore, combining the experimental measurements and the inverted pendulum-spring model, we find that variation in landing angle is correlated with the distribution manner. This posturedependent actuation allows the animal to tune the distribution of energy absorption between forelimbs and hindlimbs. 18A novel fault section locating method based on distance matching degree in distribution network显示文摘Fault section location of a single-phase grounding fault is affected by the neutral grounding mode of the system, transition resistance, and the blind zone. A fault section locating method based on an amplitude feature and an intelligent distance algorithm is proposed to eliminate the influence of the above factors. By analyzing and comparing the amplitude characteristics of the zero-sequence current transient components at both ends of the healthy section and the faulty section, a distance algorithm with strong abnormal data immune capability is introduced in this paper. The matching degree of the amplitude characteristics at both ends of the feeder section are used as the criterion and by comparing with the set threshold, the faulty section is effectively determined. 20Dispersion stability of thermal nanofluids显示文摘Thermal nanofluids, the engineered fluids with dispersed functional nanoparticles, have exhibited extraordinary thermophysical properties and added functionalities, and thus have enabled a broad range of important applications. The poor dispersion stability of thermal nanofluids, however, has been considered as a longexisting issue that limits their further development and practical application. This review overviews the recent efforts and progresses in improving the dispersion stability of thermal nanofluids such as mechanistic understanding of dispersion behavior of nanofluids, examples of both water-based and oil-based nanofluids,strategies to stabilize nanofluids, and characterization techniques for dispersion behavior of nanofluids.
