3A bioinformatics method for predicting long noncoding RNAs associated with vascular disease显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)play important roles in human diseases including vascular disease.Given the large number of lncRNAs,however,whether the majority of them are associated with vascular disease remains unknown.For this purpose,here we present a genomic location based bioinformatics method to predict the lncRNAs associated with vascular disease.We applied the presented method to globally screen the human lncRNAs potentially involved in vascular disease.As a result,we predicted 3043 putative vascular disease associated lncRNAs.To test the accuracy of the method,we selected 10 lncRNAs predicted to be implicated in proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)for further experimental validation.The results confirmed that eight of the 10 lncRNAs(80%)are validated.This result suggests that the presented method has a reliable prediction performance.Finally,the presented bioinformatics method and the predicted vascular disease associated lncRNAs together may provide helps for not only better understanding of the roles of lncRNAs in vascular disease but also the identification of novel molecules for the diagnosis and therapy of vascular disease.LI JianWei GAO Cheng WANG YuChen MA Wei TU Jian WANG JunPei CHEN ZhenZhen KONG Wei CUI QingHua 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,8:2
4Theoretical and experimental study on seismic response control on top of Three-Gorges ship lift towers using magnetorheological intelligent isolation system and its key technique显示文摘A vertical ship lift under earthquake excitation may suffer from a whipping effect due to the sudden change of building lateral stiffness at the top of the ship lift towers.This paper proposes a roof magnetorheological(MR)intelligent isolation system to prevent the seismic whipping effect on machinery structures.Theoretically,the dynamic models of MR damper and the mechanical model of ship lift was established,the inverse neural network controlling algorithm was proposed and the fundamental semi-active control equation for the Three-Gorges ship lift where the MR intelligent isolation system was installed was deduced.Experimentally,the experimental model of the ship lift was given,the vibrating table experiment of the MR intelligent isolation system controlling the whipping effect was carried out and the results of the inverse neural network control strategy and passive isolation strategy were compared.In practical aspect,the large-scale MR damper(500 kN)and a sliding support with limited stiffness were designed and fabricated.It was proven that the MR intelligent isolation system with proper control strategy can greatly reduce the seismic whipping effect on the top workshop of the ship lift and be simple and effective enough to be applied to real engineering structures.Weilian QU Jianwei TU 2009Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2009,3,1:2
5Reappraise role of lymph node status in patterns of recurrence following curative resection of gastric adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective: To examine the association between lymph node status and recurrence patterns in completely resected gastric adenocarcinoma.Methods: We retrospectively assessed 1,694 patients who underwent curative gastrectomy from January 2010 to August 2014. Patients stratified according to lymph node status and recurrence patterns among different subgroups were compared.Results: Of all, 517(30.5%) patients developed recurrent disease, and complete data of recurrence could be obtained in 493(95.4%) patients. For p^(N0) patients, the patterns of recurrence were different according to p T stage: locoregional recurrence was most common in patients with p T1-2 disease(57.1%), distant recurrence was most common in patients with p T3 disease(57.1%), and peritoneal recurrence was most common in patients with p T4 a disease(66.7%). For p^(N+) patients, distant metastasis was most common pattern irrespective of p T stage. The site-specific trend of recurrence showed that locoregional recurrence increased within 5 years in patients with p^(N0)-2 disease but plateaued 3 years after surgery in patients with p N3 disease. Time to recurrence was significantly longer for the p^(N0) patients compared with the p^(N+) patients(median: 25 vs. 16 months, P=0.001).Moreover, post-recurrence survival was significantly better for the p^(N0) patients than for the p^(N+) patients(median:12 vs. 6 months, P<0.001), especially in patients with non-peritoneal recurrence, late recurrence, single recurrence,and receipt of potential curative treatment.Conclusions: Among clinicopathologic factors, lymph node status is the most important factor associated with recurrence patterns after curative gastrectomy. 8Physical dosimetric reconstruction of a case of large area back skin injury due to overexposure in an interventional procedure显示文摘To estimate the physical dose of skin and key organs in a case of overexposure during a cardiac interventional procedure.Methods The female patient aged 50 suffered from owerexposure during ardiac interventional therapy in a hospital,Xinxiang city,Henan province,China in January 2020.The mesh-type phantom for the patient was constructed based on the adult mesh-type reference computational phantoms(MRCPs)released by the International Comission on Radiological Protection Publication 145 (ICRP145)and phantom deformation technology.Models of exposure scenario were constructed and simulated with particle and heavy ion transport code system(PHTTS)according to exposure conditions.Resuts:The maximum absorbed dose of key organs/tissues under iradiation in posteroanterior(PA)and 30°left anterior oblique directions(LOA)was 632.4 and 305.6 mGy,respectively.The let lung,heart,and left mammary gland received a larger dose under both iradiation conditions.The ratio of the absorbed dose with and without shielding was a lculated,and the relative difference in most organs was<1%between two directions.The iso-dose curve of the back skin revealed the ditribution of the absorbed dose(0.1-5.2 Gy).The dose estimate of key tssues/organs was higher than the conventional level,especially the local skin,up to 5.2 Gy.Concusions The interventional procedure in this ase resulted in a higher dose.Monte Carlo codes combined with the MRCPs can be employed to estimate physical dose to individuals in concrete irradia tion scenarios.Yuchen Yin Xuan Wang Xianghui Kong Wenyue Zhang Yidi Wang Yuxuan Mao Jianwei Wang Tianhe Jia Yu Tu Bingjie Zhang Liang Sun 2022Radiation Medicine and Protection2022,3,1:0
9Evaluation of GOFP over four forest plots using RAMI and UAV measurements显示文摘Comparison and validation of canopy reflectance(CR)models are two important steps to ensure their reliability.Pure forest plantations are an ideal type of forest for validating CR models because of their simple background and the low variance in the crown structures which are usually assumed to be identical in most CR models.A Geometric Optical Model for Forest Plantations(GOFP)was compared using dataset in two radiation transfer model intercomparison exercise(RAMI)stands and validated using in situ dataset of detailed optical and structural data of two forest plantations in the Saihanba Forestry Center,China.The results show that(1)the tree distributions in stands described by the hypergeometric model in GOFP show good consistencies with the dataset in the two RAMI stands and measurements from the two Saihanba forest stands;and(2)the CRs simulated with GOFP are also compared well in the two RAMI stands and validated with measurements collected with unmanned aerial vehicles in the two Saihanba stands.GOFP shows a better consistency with the CR measurements than those from CR models for natual forestsbecause the tree distribution in forest plantations is described more reasonably in GOFP.Jun Geng Qian Zhang Feng Qiu J.M.Chen Yongguang Zhang Weiliang Fan Lili Tu Jianwei Huang Shaoteng Wang Lichen Xu Jinchao Li 2021International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,10:0
