2Microstructure and mechanical properties of CoCrNi-Mo medium entropy alloys:Experiments and first-principle calculations显示文摘The effect of Mo additions on the microstructures and mechanical properties of CoCrNi alloys was investigated,meanwhile,ab initio calculations are performed to quantitatively evaluate the lattice distortion and stacking fault energy(SFE).The yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation of(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy are 475 MPa,983 MPa and 69%,respectively.The yield strength is increased by~30%and high ductility is maintained,in comparison with CoCrNi alloy.Besides the nano-twins and dislocations,the higher density of stacking faults is induced during the tensile deformation for(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy.Ab initio calculation results indicate the mean square atomic displacement(MSAD)and SFE value of(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy is 42.6 pm^(2)and-40.4 mJ/m^(2)at 0 K,respectively.The relationship between mechanical properties and MSAD,SFE for various multiple principal element alloys is discussed.Ruobin Chang Wei Fang Jiaohui Yan Haoyang Yu Xi Bai Jia Li Shiying Wang Shijian Zheng Fuxing Yin 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3:5

4In-situ One-pot Preparation of LiFePO_4/Carbon-Nanofibers Composites and Their Electrochemical Performance显示文摘A novel in-situ route was employed to synthesize LiFePO4/carbon-nanofibers (CNFs) composites. The route combined high-temperature solid phase reaction with chemical vapor deposition (CVD) using Fe2O3 and LiH2PO4 as the precursors for LiFePO4 growth and acetylene (C2H2) as the carbon source for CNFs growth. The composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface area, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The electrochemical performance of the composites was studied by galvanostatic cycling and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The results showed that the in-situ CNFs growth could be realized by the catalytic effect of the Fe2O3 precursor. 7Detecting Icing on the Blades of a Wind Turbine Using a Deep Neural Network显示文摘The blades of wind turbines located at high latitudes are often covered with ice in late autumn and winter,where this affects their capacity for power generation as well as their safety.Accurately identifying the icing of the blades of wind turbines in remote areas is thus important,and a general model is needed to this end.This paper proposes a universal model based on a Deep Neural Network(DNN)that uses data from the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition(SCADA)system.Two datasets from SCADA are first preprocessed through undersampling,that is,they are labeled,normalized,and balanced.The features of icing of the blades of a turbine identified in previous studies are then used to extract training data from the training dataset.A middle feature is proposed to show how a given feature is correlated with icing on the blade.Performance indicators for the model,including a reward function,are also designed to assess its predictive accuracy.Finally,the most suitable model is used to predict the testing data,and values of the reward function and the predictive accuracy of the model are calculated.The proposed method can be used to relate continuously transferred features with a binary status of icing of the blades of the turbine by using variables of the middle feature.The results here show that an integrated indicator systemis superior to a single indicator of accuracy when evaluating the prediction model.Tingshun Li Jiaohui Xu Zesan Liu Dadi Wang Wen Tan 2023Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,2:0
8Microstructural Evolution of Co_(35)Cr_(25)Fe_(30)Ni_(10) TRIP Complex Concentrated Alloy with the Addition of Minor Cu and Its Effect on Mechanical Properties显示文摘The influences of minor Cu addition(2 and 4 at.%)on the microstructural evolution and room-temperature mechanical property of metastable Co_(35)Cr_(25)Fe_(30)Ni_(10)are systemically investigated in the present study.The results indicate that the thermally induced hexagonal close-packed(HCP)phase is absent when Cu was added,due to the increase in stacking fault energy(SFE).The 2%-Cu-added alloys showed the largest total elongation of 69%among the three alloys.With the addition of Cu content reaching 4 at.%,heterogeneous grain structures composed of coarse grains(~9μm)and fine grains(~4μm)and Cu-rich precipitates near the grain boundary are observed,showing the highest yield strength.Additionally,the segregation state of Cu was quantitatively characterized by electron probe microanalysis(EPMA).And effects of Cu addition on microstructures and tensile properties of(Co_(35)Cr_(25)Fe_(30)Ni_(10))_(100-x) Cu _(x) are also discussed.The findings are beneficial to comprehensively understand the Cu-containing complex concentrated alloys.Haoyang Yu Wei Fang Jinfei Zhang Jiaxin Huang Jiaohui Yan Xin Zhang Juan Wang Jianhang Feng Fuxing Yin 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,8:0
9Responses of nitrogen cycling and related microorganisms to brackish wetlands formed by evapotranspiration显示文摘Elevated evapotranspiration due to warmer air temperature could raise salinity and nutrient levels of some inland wetlands, potentially impacting nitrogen cycling. To characterize the impact of high evapotranspiration on soil microbial nitrogen cycling in inland wetlands, we compared freshwater and brackish marsh(or non-marsh) wetlands in terms of sediment ammonia-oxidizing rate(AOR), denitrifying rate(DR), and related microbial communities in a typical inland basin, the Hulun Lake basin, in China. Results showed that marsh ecosystems(ME) exhibited 31% higher AOR and 65% higher DR than non-marsh ecosystems(NE). For NE, freshwater non-marsh wetland exhibited 12% higher AOR than brackish non-marsh wetland. This was probably due to the inhibitory effects of high NH_4~+ and salinity levels on ammonia-oxidizing archaea in brackish non-marsh wetland. Conversely, DR in brackish non-marsh wetland was 23% higher than that in freshwater non-marsh wetland, with total organic carbon(TOC) significantly influencing this difference,suggesting that the higher DR in brackish non-marsh wetland was mainly due to its higher TOC level. For ME, due to the direct and indirect interference of salinity, brackish marsh wetland displayed 26% lower AOR and 19% lower DR than freshwater marsh wetland. Besides, brackish wetlands harbored distinct ammonia-oxidizing and denitrifying microbial communities compared to freshwater wetlands. The assembly of these communities was dominated by stochastic processes, while brackish wetlands exhibited more prominent deterministic processes than freshwater wetlands. Overall, high evapotranspiration altered activities and community characteristics of ammonia oxidizers and denitrifiers in inland brackish wetlands by enhancing salinity and nutrient levels,while emergent plants occurring in ME could mitigate the adverse effects of salt stress of inland brackish wetlands on nitrogen cycling.Jiaohui FANG Tianshu LU Jian LIU Shangbin HE Xiufeng YANG Huashan DOU Honghai ZHANG 2024Pedosphere2024,34,1:0
