2Structural and magnetic properties of Sm_2Fe_(17-x)Nb_x (x = 0-4) alloys prepared by HDDR processes and their nitrides显示文摘Sm2Fe17-xNbxNy (x = 0-4) powder was synthesized by HDDR treatment and nitrogenation. The effects of partial Nb substitution for Fe on the structural and magnetic properties of Sm2Fe17?xNbx alloys and their nitrides were investigated. It was seen that Sm2(Fe,Nb)17 phase exists in both annealed and HDDR-treated Sm2Fe17?xNbx alloys. However, its content is decreased with the increase in Nb substitution. In annealed alloys, Sm2(Fe,Nb)17 phase becomes unstable and will dissociate into SmFe2 and Fe-rich phases when x > 1.5. With HDDR-treatment, the Nb concentration in recombined Sm2(Fe,Nb)17 phase is decreased, and the content of Fe-rich phases is increased. Sm2Fe17?xNbx powder exhibits dendritic cracks and fine particles with a size of less than 300 nm. In nitrogenated alloys, N atoms mainly enter 2:17-type phase to form Sm2(Fe,Nb)17Ny. Partial Nb atoms in Sm2(Fe,Nb)17Ny phase will be released or excluded by nitrogen atoms. Fe-rich phases increase, and are followed by the amorphous Sm2(Fe,Nb)17Ny phase. Nb substitution for Fe with x = 0.5 and 1.0 in Sm2Fe17?xNbxNy powders increases the coercivity and remanence. 8Fabrication and magnetic properties of Sm_3(Fe,Ti)_(29)N_x/α-Fe dual-phase nanocomposite permanent magnetic material显示文摘Sm3(Fe,Ti)29Nx/α-Fe dual-phase nanometer magnetic material was fabricated through rapid solidification, crystallization and nitridation of Sm-Fe (Ti) alloy. The effect of combination of rapid solidification and Ti alloy addition on the phase for- mation and microstructure of the Sm-Fe alloy is investigated in this paper. The mi- crostructure of amorphous phase and dual-phase nano-grain crystals before and after crystallization annealing were observed using a high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HREM). The dual-phase nano-grains after annealing were compacted together with a clear interface with the direct exchange-coupling mechanism. Different annealing processes were used to examine the melt-spun alloy. Comparison of the images of SEM showed that annealing at 750 ℃ for 10 min was most suitable to get homogeneous and nano-grains. 14Effect of Al_(82.8)Cu_(17)Fe_(0.2) alloy doping on structure and magnetic properties of SmCo5-based ribbons显示文摘This work tries to improve the magnetic properties by multi-element doping in the form of a ternary alloy.SmCo_(5+)χwt%Al-Cu-Fe(x=0-7)ribbons melt-spun at 40 m/s were produced by adding Al_(82.8)Cu_(17)Fe_(0.2)alloy into SmCo_(5) matrix,and their phases,microstructure,and magnetic properties were investigated.The results show that both x=0 and 3 ribbons form a cellular microstructure.Al-Cu-Fe addition reduces the content of the Sm_(2)(Co,M)_(7) cell wall,narrows its width,and forms the local disordered micro-regions and solute-segregation nanoclusters in the Sm(Co,M)_(5) grains.With x increasing to5,Al-Cu-Fe addition promotes the phase separation between and within grains of the SmCo_(5)-based alloy.The Al-Cu-Fe addition can simultaneously improve the coercivity and magnetization of the SmCo_(5)-based ribbons,in particular,the magnetization of the x=3 ribbons increases by 35%,while the coercivity of the x=5 ribbons increases by 3.9 times.Finally,the microstructure evolution models are built up,and the relationship between the microstructure and the magnetic properties is discussed.Zhixin Dong Shu Wang Siyi Chen Yunfei Cao Zihui Ge Jibing Sun 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,1:0
