1Spatiotemporal variability of ocean chemistry in the early Cambrian,South China显示文摘Following the Ediacaran metazoan radiation,the 'Cambrian Explosion' set up the major framework of todays' animal phyla as well as modern marine ecosystem.Here,we present a preliminary investigation on the temporal and spatial(from shallow to deep waters) variations of the early Cambrian ocean chemistry in South China through analyzing a Fe-S-C systematic dataset integrated from literature.Our investigation indicates that the early Cambrian deep ocean in South China was still anoxic and Fe2+-enriched(i.e.,ferruginous) although its surface was oxic,and in between a metastable euxinic(anoxic and sulfidic) water zone may have dynamically developed in anoxic shelf waters with an increasing weathering sulfate supply.Furthermore,accompanying marine transgression and regression cycles in the early Cambrian,such a 'sandwich' structure in ocean redox chemistry demonstrates five evolutional stages,which can be well correlated to the spatiotemporal patterns of fossil records in South China.The good correlation between metazoan fossil occurrences and water chemistry in South China suggests that early animals possibly possessed ability to inhabit anoxic but generally not euxinic environments as free H2S was fatal to most eukaryotes.This view can well explain why those small shell fauna and sponges disappeared from shelf to slope areas where sulfidic Ni-Mo-rich shales were widely deposited.Thus,we conclude that the spatiotemporal variations of ocean chemistry and its biological effects probably played a key role in the phased animal radiations and 'extinctions' in the early Cambrian.JIN ChengSheng LI Chao PENG XingFang CUI Hao SHI Wei ZHANG ZiHu LUO GenMing XIE ShuCheng 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,4:5

10Improved Isospin Dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics Model显示文摘Isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics (IQMD) model is further developed by introducing switch function method which deals with correctly the surface interaction and shell effect in the process of projectile and target approaching. 11Isospin Effect of Multifragmentation and Critical Phenomena in Finite Nuclei显示文摘Isospin effect of multifragmentation for the finite nuclei 112Sn and 132Sn is studied by using a phenomeno-logical asymmetric nuclear equation of state and an isospin dependent quantum molecular dynamics (IQMD) model. The initial distribution of nucleons in phase space is randomly sampled by using temperature dependent Hartree-Fock method in coordinate and momentum space respectively, and dynamical evolution of nucleons is described by IQMD. Various initial density contribution for the intermediate mass fragment (IMF) production is analyzed at a certain temperature. 16Exotic Behavior of Elastic Scattering Differential Cross Sections of Weakly Bound Nucleus ^(17)F at Small Angels显示文摘The experiment of measuring the differential cross sections dσ/dθat forward angles for the elastically scattered 17F (141 MeV) and 17O (128 MeV) on the 208Pb target has been carried out at the Radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou (RIBLL). Fig. 1 shows the plots of In(dσ/dθ) versusθ2 for 17F (right panel) and 17O (left panel). The dependence of the ln(dσ/dθ) onθ2 shows quite different behaviors for the two nuclei. 17Neutron Flow in Ni+Ni,Pb+Ni and Pb+Pb at 400 MeV/u显示文摘With the construction of the neutron wall for the external target experiment at CSR, it will be possible to detect high energy neutrons. A BUU model (Li Baoan, Phys. Rev.
