1Identification of a novel seed size associated locus SW9-1 in soybean显示文摘Seed size is one of the vital traits determining seed appearance, quality, and yield. Untangling the genetic mechanisms regulating soybean 100-seed weight (100-SW), seed length and seed width across environments may provide a theoretical basis for improving seed yield. However, there are few reports related to QTL mapping of 100-SW across multiple ecological regions. In this study, 21 loci associated with seed size traits were identified using a genome-wide association of 5361 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) across three ecoregions in China, which could explain 8.12%–14.25% of the phenotypic variance respectively. A new locus, named as SW9-1 on chromosome 9 that explained 10.05%–10.93% of the seed weight variance was found significantly related to seed size traits, and was not previously reported. The selection effect analysis showed that SW9-1 locus has a relatively high phenotypic effect (13.67) on 100-SW, with a greater contribution by the accessions with bigger seeds (3.69) than the accessions with small seeds (1.66). Increases in seed weight were accompanied by increases in the frequency of SW9-1T allele, with >90% of the bred varieties with a 100-SW >30 g carrying SW9-1T. Analysis of SW9-1 allelic variation in additional soybean accessions showed that SW9-1T allele accounting for 13.83% of the wild accessions, while in 46.55% and 51.57% of the landraces and bred accessions, respectively, this results indicating that the SW9-1 locus has been subjected to artificial selection during the early stages of soybean breeding, especially the utilization of SW9-1T in edamame for big seed. These results suggest that SW9-1 is a novel and reliable locus associated with seed size traits, and might have an important implication for increasing soybean seed weight in molecular design breeding. 3Catalyzing Random Access at Physical Layer for Internet of Things:An Intelligence Enabled User Signature Code Acquisition Approach显示文摘Exploiting random access for the underlying connectivity provisioning has great potential to incorporate massive machine-type communication(MTC)devices in an Internet of Things(Io T)network.However,massive access attempts from versatile MTC devices may bring congestion to the IIo T network,thereby hindering service increasing of IIo T applications.In this paper,an intelligence enabled physical(PHY-)layer user signature code acquisition(USCA)algorithm is proposed to overcome the random access congestion problem with reduced signaling and control overhead.In the proposed scheme,the detector aims at approximating the optimal observation on both active user detection and user data reception by iteratively learning and predicting the convergence of the user signature codes that are in active.The crossentropy based low-complexity iterative updating rule is present to guarantee that the proposed USCA algorithm is computational feasible.A closed-form bit error rate(BER)performance analysis is carried out to show the efficiency of the proposed intelligence USCA algorithm.Simulation results confirm that the proposed USCA algorithm provides an inherent tradeoff between performance and complexity and allows the detector achieves an approximate optimal performance with a reasonable computational complexity.Xiaojie Fang Xinyu Yin Xuejun Sha Jinghui Qiu Hongli Zhang 2021China Communications2021,18,10:1

8Hybrid co-based MOF nanoboxes/CNFs interlayer as microreactors for polysulfides-trapping in lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur battery is desirable for the future potential electrochemical energy storage device with advantages of high theoretical energy density,low cost and environmental friendliness.However,some natural hindrances,particularly fast capacity degradation resulting from the migration of dissolved polysulfide intermediates,remain to be significant challenges prior to the practical applications.In this work,a composite interlayer of carbon nanofibers(CNFs)which are enriched by Co-based metal organic frameworks(ZIF-67)growth in-situ is exploited.Notably,physical blocking and chemical trapping abilities are obtained synergistically from the ZIF/CNFs interlayer,which enables to restrain the dissolution of polysulfides and alleviate shuttle effect.Moreover,the three-dimensional fiber networks provide an interconnected conductive framework between each ZIF microreactor to promote fast electron transfer during cycling,thus contributing to excellent rate and cycling performance.As a result,Li-S cells with ZIF/CNFs interlayer show a high specific capacity of 1334 mAh g^(-1) at 1 C with an excellent cycling stability over 300 cycles.Besides,this scalable and affordable electrospinning fabrication method provides a promising approach for the design of MOFs-derived carbon materials for high performance Li-S batteries.Jing Li Caiming Jiao Jinghui Zhu Liubiao Zhong Tuo Kang Sehrish Aslam Jianyong Wang Sanfei Zhao Yejun Qiu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:1
9Vectorial Ekeland variational principle for systems of equilibrium problems and its applications显示文摘For a family of vector-valued bifunctions,we introduce the notion of sequentially lower monotonity,which is strictly weaker than the lower semi-continuity of the second variables of the bifunctions.Then,we give a general version of vectorial Ekeland variational principle(briefly,denoted by EVP) for a system of equilibrium problems,where the sequentially lower monotone objective bifunction family is defined on products of sequentially lower complete spaces(concerning sequentially lower complete spaces,see Zhu et al(2013)),and taking values in a quasi-ordered locally convex space.Besides,the perturbation consists of a subset of the ordering cone and a family {p_i}_(i∈I) of negative functions satisfying for each i∈I,p_i(x_i,y_i) = 0 if and only if x_i=y_i.From the general version,we can deduce several particular equilibrium versions of EVP,which can be applied to show the existence of solutions for countable systems of equilibrium problems.In particular,we obtain a general existence result of solutions for countable systems of equilibrium problems in the setting of sequentially lower complete spaces.By weakening the compactness of domains and the lower semi-continuity of objective bifunctions,we extend and improve some known existence results of solutions for countable system of equilibrium problems in the setting of complete metric spaces(or Fréchet spaces).When the domains are non-compact,by using the theory of angelic spaces(see Floret(1980)),we generalize some existence results on solutions for countable systems of equilibrium problems by extending the framework from reflexive Banach spaces to the strong duals of weakly compactly generated spaces.QIU JingHui 2017Science China Mathematics2017,60,7:1

11Birefringent transmissive metalens with an ultradeep depth of focus and high resolution显示文摘Depth of focus(DOF) and transverse resolution define the longitudinal range and definition of the focusing lens.Although metasurface axilenses and light-sword metalenses with radial and angular modulations can elongate the DOF, these approaches have inherent limitations in being reliable only for small numerical aperture(NA) cases,which in turn compromises the transverse resolution for the given aperture dimension. To conquer this limitation, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a birefringent metalens, achieving an ultradeep DOF of 41λ in terms of the total scattered field, corresponding to a record-breaking wide NA range from 0.14 to 0.7. Meanwhile,the diffraction limited focal spot size in this NA range can guarantee acquisition of images with high resolution. A hybrid methodology is proposed that utilizes both the accuracy of holography in electromagnetic field reconstruction and the polarization multiplexing to double the DOF. A stratified transmissive meta-atom is utilized to encode a pair of independent phase profiles in two orthogonal polarization channels. Furthermore, we combine the generalized scattering matrix with the multipole expansion theory for the first time to elucidate the mechanism of maintaining high transmittance and widening the transmission phase coverage by using the multilayered structure.
