| 1 | Effects of moxibustion on heat-shock protein 70 expression in the spinal cord and colonic mucosa in a rat model of ulcerative colitis显示文摘Pathological changes in the colon are closely associated with the spinal cord,and innervation of spinal cord can regulate cellular functions.Our previous studies verified that moxibustion protects and restores the colonic mucosa,but the mechanisms of action remain unknown.The present study observed the effects of moxibustion and salicylazosulfapyridine on expression of heat-shock protein 70(HSP70) and its mRNA in the spinal cord and colonic mucosa of ulcerative colitis rats.Results demonstrated that moxibustion and salicylazosulfapyridine increased HSP70 mRNA expression in the spinal cord and colonic mucosa of ulcerative colitis rats.The decreased transcriptional activity of HSP70 in the spinal cord and colonic mucosa might participate in damage to the colonic mucosa in ulcerative colitis rats.Moxibustion exerted protective effects on colonic mucosa by up-regulating HSP70 transcriptional activity in the spinal cord and colonic mucosa. | Li Qi Yin Shi Luyi Wu Jingping Mu Linying Tan Xiaopeng Ma Huirong Liu Shifen Xu Huangan Wu | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,22: | 3 |
| 2 | Relationship between Serum Uric Acid Level and Clinical Symptom Improvement in Patients with Bipolar Disorder Type I in Their Manic Episode显示文摘[Objectives]To evaluate whether the level of serum uric acid in patients with bipolar disorder type I in their manic episode was different from that in healthy subjects,and to evaluate whether the level of serum uric acid is related to the severity of manic episode and the improvement of clinical symptoms.[Methods]A total of 70 patients with bipolar disorder type I in their manic episode were selected,their serum uric acid levels were measured at the beginning of the enrollment and at the end of the first,second and third week,and the clinical symptoms were evaluated with Young Mania Rating Scale(YMRS).65 healthy subjects were enrolled,and their serum uric acid levels were measured only at the beginning of the enrollment.[Results]The level of serum uric acid in patients with bipolar disorder type I in their manic episode was higher than that in healthy adults(t=8.153,p=0.039).At the end of the third week,the YMRS score and uric acid level of the patients were lower than those of the patients at the beginning of the enrollment(t=17.107,p=0.000;t=35.864,p=0.000).[Conclusions]The level of serum uric acid in patients with bipolar disorder type I in their manic episode was higher than that in healthy subjects,and the decrease of serum uric acid level may be related to the improvement of clinical symptoms. | Dongyu XIA Xiong CHEN Xi WANG Jingping MU | 2021 | Medicinal Plant2021,12,6: | 1 |
| 3 | Evaluation of Clinical Efficacy of Combined Use of Acupuncture and Medicine in Treating Sleep Disorder in Patients with Anxiety Disorder显示文摘[Objectives]To evaluate the clinical efficacy of combined acupuncture and medicine in the treatment of sleep disorders in patients with anxiety disorders.[Methods]A total of 300 anxiety patients with sleep disorders were randomly selected and divided into a research group and a control group,with 150 cases in each group.The control group was administered with western medicine,and the research group was treated with acupuncture and medicine to compare their clinical treatment effects.[Results]The total effective rate of treatment in the research group was significantly higher than that in the control group;after treatment,both the PSQI and SAS scores of the two groups were significantly reduced,and the reduction degree of the research group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).[Conclusions]Combined use of acupuncture and medicine to treat sleep disorders in patients with anxiety disorders has better curative effect and fewer adverse reactions,so it has high clinical application value. | Xiangpu LIU Jingping MU Xinhua YU Shun ZENG Nannan LIU Xiaohu ZHU | 2021 | Medicinal Plant2021,12,3: | 1 |
| 4 | Experimental Study on the Repair Effect of Xianlinggubao Capsule on Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fracture in Rabbits显示文摘[Objectives]To observe the effect of Xianlinggubao Capsule on osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)in rabbits and the influence mechanism of the repair of fractures.[Methods]Female June age 30 rabbits were randomly divided into control group,model control group and Xianlinggubao group.After bilateral ovariectomy,the model control group and Xianlinggubao group were injected with dexamethasone continuously for 4 weeks,and then the OVCF compound model was established by surgery.The Xianlinggubao group was treated with Xianlinggubao at a dose of 300 mg/(kg·d)for 60 d,while the blank control group and the model control group were treated with the same amount of normal saline for 60 d.The number of blood vessels and the expression of bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2)were detected by immunohistochemical staining and the bone mineral density(BMD)in the callus of the third lumbar fracture area of rabbits was measured.The content of serum phosphorus(P),alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and total calcium(TCa)in rabbit venous blood were measured by automatic biochemical analyzer.The content of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF)in rabbit venous blood were measured by ELISA kit.[Results]The number of blood vessels and the expression of BMP-2 in the callus of the third lumbar fracture area of rabbits was high in Xianlinggubao group,the content of serum P,ALP,TCa,VEGF and PDGF was obviously increased,BMD was obviously increased,the bone microstructure of the third lumbar vertebrae fracture area of rabbits was basically restored.Compared with the model control group(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.[Conclusions]Xianlinggubao Capsule can increase calcium and phosphorus deposition,promote the formation of blood vessels in the fracture area of OVCF in rabbits,and have a strong repair effect on OVCF in rabbits. | Lihong GUO Lizhu LIU Xi WANG Heng LIAO Jingping MU | 2023 | Medicinal Plant2023,14,6: | 0 |

| 6 | Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture Method for Promoting Hippocampal Nerve Repair and Regeneration and Improving Learning and Memory Dysfunction in Stroke Model Rats显示文摘[Objectives]To evaluate the effects of Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture method on improving learning and memory function and hippocampal nerve regeneration and repair after stroke.[Methods]Animal models of cognitive impairment in the recovery phase of cerebral infarction in rats were prepared,and rats were randomly divided into control group,model group,donepezil group,and acupuncture group.Morris water maze experiment was carried out to evaluate learning and memory ability.Nissl staining,BrdU and DCX immunofluorescence staining were used to observe the number and morphological structure of neuronal pyramidal and granular cells in the dentate gyrus(DG)area of the hippocampus,as well as the proliferation and differentiation of neural progenitor cells.TUNEL method was used to detect cell apoptosis.[Results]Before intervention,the scores and ELP of the model group,donepezil group and acupuncture group were significantly higher than those of the blank group(P<0.05);after the intervention,the neurological scores and ELP of the blank group and the model group were not significantly different from those before the intervention(P<0.05);the donepezil group and acupuncture group were significantly reduced,there was no difference between the donepezil group and acupuncture group(P>0.05),but it was still significantly higher than the blank group(P<0.05).The results of BrdU and DCX immunofluorescence staining showed that there were only a few BrdU positive cells and DCX protein in the hippocampal DG area of mice in the blank group,and the positive cells in the model group were significantly increased(P<0.05);donepezil group and acupuncture group showed significant increase compared with the model group(P<0.05);compared with the blank group,the number of neurons in the hippocampal DG area of each group was significantly reduced(P<0.01),and the neuronal apoptosis index was significantly increased(P<0.01);compared with the blank group,the number of neurons in the hippocampal DG area of each group was significantly reduced(P<0.01),and the neuronal apoptosis index was significantly increased(P<0.01).The number of neurons in the hippocampal DG area of rats in the acupuncture group and donepezil group was significantly increased(P<0.01),and the neuronal apoptosis index was significantly decreased(P<0.01).[Conclusions]Tongdu Tiaoshen Acupuncture method can improve the learning and memory function of stroke model rats by promoting the regeneration and repair of hippocampal nerve in rats with cerebral infarction. | Jin XIE Jingping MU Zhongmin HUANG Fangfang YANG Wanfen WANG Jimin LIU Jing TAO Lidian CHEN | 2021 | Medicinal Plant2021,12,2: | 0 |
| 7 | The spatiotemporal scale effect on vegetation interannual trend estimates based on satellite products over Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘The trend estimate of vegetation change is essential to understand the change rule of the ecosystem.Previous studies were mainly focused on quantifying trends or analyzing their spatial distribution characteristics.Nevertheless,the uncertainties of trend estimates caused by spatiotemporal scale effects have rarely been studied.In response to this challenge,this study aims to investigate spatiotemporal scale effects on trend estimates using Moderate-Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and Gross Primary Productivity(GPP)products from 2001 to 2019 in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP).Moreover,the possible influencing factors on spatiotemporal scale effect,including spatial heterogeneity,topography,and vegetation types,were explored.The results indicate that the spatial scale effect depends more on the dataset with a coarser spatial resolution,and temporal scale effects depend on the time span of datasets.Unexpectedly,the trend estimates on the 8-day and yearly scale are much closer than that on the monthly scale.In addition,in areas with low spatial heterogeneity,low topography variability,and sparse vegetation,the spatiotemporal scale effect can be ignored,and vice versa.The results in this study help deepen the consciousness and understanding of spatiotemporal scale effects on trend detection. | MA Dujuan WU Xiaodan WANG Jingping MU Cuicui | 2023 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,5: | 0 |
