| 1 | Estimation on Aesthetic Value of Tourist Landscapes in a Natural Heritage Site:Kanas National Nature Reserve,Xinjiang,China显示文摘Most world natural heritage sites are designated partly by reason of their prominent aesthetic values in accordance with Article Ⅶ of World Natural Heritage Convention. In this paper, the aesthetic values of Kanas National Nature Reserve, which has potential for such designation, was analyzed quantitatively using scenic beauty estimation(SBE).The landscapes of 19 representative scenic spots in the Kanas National Nature Reserve in summer and autumn were selected as the objects of evaluation. The contributions of different landscape factors to the aesthetic value of the Kanas National Nature Reserve were revealed using a multivariate quantitative model. The main factors affecting the aesthetic value were waterscapes, vegetation, mountains, folk culture and the tourist environment. The t-test and F-test results are extremely significant.According to the results, some suggestions were given for conserving the landscapes in the Kanas National Nature Reserve. | DI Feng YANG Zhaoping LIU Xuling WU Jingrui MA Zhongguo | 2010 | Chinese Geographical Science2010,20,1: | 11 |
| 2 | The chromosome-based lavender genome provides new in sights into Lamiaceae evolution and terpenoid biosynthesis显示文摘The aromatic shrub Lavandula angustifolia produces various volatile terpenoids that serve as resources for essential oils and function in plant-insect communication. To better understand the genetic basis of the terpenoid diversity in lavender,we present a high-quality reference genome for the Chinese lavender cultivar‘Jingxun 2'using PacBio and Hi-C technologies to anchor the 894.50 Mb genome assembly into 27 pseudochromosomes. In addition to the y triplication event, lavender underwent two rounds of whole-genome duplication(WGD)during the Eocene-Oligocene(29.6 MYA)and Miocene-Pliocene(6.9 MYA)transitions. As a result of tandem duplications and lineage-specific WGDs,gene families related to terpenoid biosynthesis in lavender are substantially expanded compared to those of five other species in Lamiaceae. Many terpenoid biosynthesis transcripts are abundant in glandular trichomes. We further integrated the contents of ecologically functional terpenoids and coexpressed terpenoid biosynthetic genes to construct terpenoid-gene networks.Typical gene clusters, including TPS-TPS,TPS-CYP450,and TPS-BAHD,linked with compounds that primarily function as attractants or repellents, were identified by their similar patterns of change during flower development or in response to methyl jasmonate.Comprehensive analysis of the genetic basis of the production of volatiles in lavender could serve as a foundation for future research into lavender evolution, phytochemistry, and ecology. | Jingrui Li Yiming Wang Yanmei Dong Wenying Zhang Di Wang Hongtong Bai Kui Li Hui Li Lei Shi | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 5 |
| 3 | Correction: The chromosome-based lavender genome provides new insights into Lamiaceae evolution and terpenoid biosynthesis显示文摘After the publication of this article 1,the authors became aware that the legends of Figs.3 and 4 were inverted. The correct version is shown below. In addition, the Lavandula angustifolia‘Jingxun 2’was mistakenly edited as Lavandula angustifolia“Jingxun 2”. | Jingrui Li Yiming Wang Yanmei Dong Wenying Zhang Di Wang Hongtong Bai Kui Li Hui Li Lei Shi | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 1 |
| 4 | Steroidal saponins with anti-inflammatory activity from Tribulus terrestris L.显示文摘Objective:Tribulus terrestris L.(T.terrestris)is a highly valuable traditional Chinese medicine used to treat stroke, inflammation, pulmonary fibrosis, liver cancer, and urolithiasis. To identify the basic substance responsible for the anti-inflammatory effect of TST(total saponins of Tribulus),its chemical composition was systematically studied, and its effect of inhibiting nitric oxide generation and the expression of related inflammatory factors were determined. Methods:To separate chemical constituents from T.terrestris by column chromatography.Spectroscopic methods, including 1D and 2D nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(NMR)and mass spectrometry(MS)techniques, were used to elucidate the isolated compounds. The anti-inflammatory activities of TST and several compounds were evaluated in vitro. Results:Fifteen steroidal saponins, including 9 furostanol steroidal saponins(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,and 15)and 6 isospirostanol steroidal saponins(9,10,11,12,13,and 14),were isolated from T.terrestris.TST significantly decreased the expression of tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-a)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in RAW 264.7 cells stimulated by lipopolysaccharides.Compounds 13 and 15 evidently reduced TNF-a expression.Compounds 6,10,12,13,and 15 markedly reduced IL-6 expression. Conclusions:Compounds 1 was a novel furostanol steroidal saponin, named 26-O-b-D-glucopyranosyl-(25R)-5afurostan-12-carbonyl-20(22)-en-3b,26-diol-3-O-{b-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→2)-[b-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)]-b-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-[a-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)]-b-D-galactopyranoside}.Compounds 2 was isolated from the family Zygophyllaceae for the first time, and 5 and 6 were isolated from the Tribulus genus.TST and compounds 6,10,12,13,and 15 exerts antiinflammatory activity. | Miaojie Yang Mahmood Brobbey Oppong Jingrui Di Qing Yuan Yanxu Chang Miaomiao Jiang Shijie Cao Pengzhi Dong Lin Li Yan Xie Xiaoying Luan Limin Hu Lijuan Chai Peng Zhang | 2022 | Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2022,2,1: | 1 |
