1Effect of layered joints on rockburst in deep tunnels显示文摘The existence of joints in the surrounding rock mass has a considerable efect on tunnel rockbursts.Herein,we studied the efect of layered joints with diferent inclination angles and spacings on rockburst in deep tunnels and investigated the failure area,deformation process of the surrounding rock mass,stress change inside the surrounding rock mass,velocity of the failed rock,and the kinetic energy of the failure.The failure type of the surrounding rock mass can thus be determined.The results showed that the intensity of rockburst increases as rock quality designation(RQD)decreases,while the deformation rate of the surrounding rock mass frst increases and then decreases.The deformation rate exhibits a turning point between RQD=50 and 70,below which the deformation rate of the surrounding rock mass gradually decreases,ultimately ceasing to be a rockburst.Rockburst always occurs perpendicular to the direction of the joint.Whenσ_(x)=σ_(y),as the joint inclination angle changes from 45°to 90°,the intensity of a rockburst frst decreases(from 45°to 60°),and then increases(from 60°to 90°).When combined with the evolution law of stress and strain energy,the rockburst process can be divided into four stages.Mingming He Jinrui Zhao Bianyuan Deng Zhiqiang Zhang 2022International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,2:2

3Ultrafast high-temperature sintering of high-entropy oxides with refined microstructure and superior lithium-ion storage performance显示文摘High-entropy oxides(HEOs)have received significant attention because of their tunable mechanical properties and wide range of functional applications.However,the conventional method used for sintering HEOs requires prolonged processing time,which results in excessive grain growth,thereby compromising their performance.Here,an ultrafast high-temperature sintering(UHS)strategy was adopted,and rock-salt composite(Mg_(0.2)Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.2)Cu_(0.2)Zn_(0.2))O was selected as model materials.Experimental parameters were tuned to illustrate the influence of applied current and soaking time on the densification process and resulting grain size.Additionally,the electrochemical performance of UHS-synthesized microparticles as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries was investigated.The results show that the ultrafast heating rate results in fine grains with a diameter of~6–8μm and density of 95%,which are much smaller and similar to those obtained using the conventional sintering method(25μm and 96%).Moreover,the high surface area and reactivity of the microparticles,as well as their sluggish diffusion effect and structural stability,contribute to outstanding performance with high capacity(336 mA·h/g at 1 A/g)and ultralong cyclability(1000 cycles).This novel technique offers valuable insights into the densification process of HEOs and other materials and can thus broaden their application range.Yuhang Bai Jinrui Li Hai Lu Jia Liu Cuiying Ma Bin Wang Xing Zhao Jun Deng 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,10:0
4A Model for the Determination of Semi-Circular Spot Corrosion Damage and Residual Strength in Oil Pipes显示文摘Pitting corrosion often occurs due to the presence of various corrosive substances,such as CO_(2) and H_(2)S,in the pipe service environment.As a result of this process,the residual strength of oil pipes is reduced and this can compromise the integrity of the entire pipe string.In the present work,a model is introduced on the basis of the API579 standard to determine the so-called stress concentration coefficient.The model accounts for pitting corrosion shapes such as shallow semi-circles,semi-circles,and deep semi-circles.The relationship between the corrosion pit depth and opening diameter and the residual strength of the oil casing is obtained.The results show that the influence of the pit opening diameter on the stress concentration coefficient is smaller than that of the pit depth.For a constant pit opening diameter,the coefficient increases gradually with increasing the pit depth.The compressive strength and internal pressure strength of the carbon steel oil casing decrease accordingly.When the depth of the corrosion pit is relatively small,the growth of the coefficient is slower;when the depth of the corrosion pit increases to a certain value,the increase in stress concentration coefficient becomes obvious.Hongtao Liu Maoxian Xiong Bo Zhang Junfeng Xie Jinrui Deng MifengZhao Ruijing Jiang Yushan Zheng 2023Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2023,19,6:0
