Study on Laser Welding of Al Composite显示文摘The effects of laser welding parameter on strength of welded joints were studied. The mechanism for loss of joint strength was analyzed. It was pointed out that an important factor affecting joint strength is the reaction between matrix and reinforced phase. On the basis of this, the concept of critical St activity a[si]min was proposed. Using appropriate welding parameters and Si activity, high quality laser welded joints in an aluminum matrix composite SiCw/6061Al can be Successfully obtained.Jitai NIU Zhonghong LAI MuZhen WANG Liming LIU and Lin WU National Key Laboratory of Advanced Welding Production Technology, Harbin institute of Technology, Harbin 150001, China 2001Journal of Materials Science & Technology2001,17,1:3
Impact of polydimethylsiloxanes on physicochemical and tribological properties of naphthenic mineral oil(KN 4010)-based titanium complex grease显示文摘Titanium complex greases were prepared by using naphthenic mineral oil and polydimethylsiloxane as the mixed base oil. The effect of polydimethylsiloxane molecular weight and polydimethylsiloxane content in mixed base oil on the physicochemical and tribological properties of titanium complex greases was investigated. As compared to the sole mineral oil-based titanium complex grease, the use of polydimethylsiloxane(H201-350)as a co-base oil increased the dropping point from 310 to 329℃, decreased the oil separation from 3.7% to 2.3%,reduced the corrosion extent, and obviously improved the tribological properties. When the mixed oil-based titanium complex grease was used as a lubricant, lubricating films of polydimethylsiloxane were probably formed on the surfaces of friction pairs, giving good lubricating property.Jitai Li Chu Zhai Hengbo Yin Aili Wang Lingqin Shen 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,4:3
Behavior of HSLA A709 Steel under Different Environmental Conditions显示文摘According to the requirement of the knowledge of material mechanical properties in structure design procedure, the paper considered experimentally obtained data regarding the high-strength low-alloy A 709 Gr50 steel. In that way, ultimate tensile strength and 0.2 offset yield strength at both lowered and elevated temperatures were presented and analyzed. The effect of temperature exerted on both of the mentioned strengths was presented.Creep responses for selected temperatures and selected stress levels were also considered. All of the tests are related to the uniaxial tensile tests and were performed in the laboratory of the Department for Engineering Mechanics at the Faculty of Engineering Rijeka.BRNIC Josip NIU Jitai TURKALJ Goran CANADIJA Marko LANC Domagoj 2010Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2010,25,6:2
Behavior of AISI 316L Steel Subjected to Uniaxial State of Stress at Elevated Temperatures显示文摘This paper presents an experimental investigation on an AISI 316L stainless steel regarding mechanical proper- ties and short uniaxial creep tests at elevated temperatures. The short time creep tests were carried out under different but constant stresses. The obtained data of ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, creep curves and effects of elevated temperatures on mechanical properties were presented. For a selected rheological model, material parameters were obtained. As a justification, such rheological model is implemented in the finite element procedure for an uniaxially stressed specimen in selected environmental conditions.Josip Brnic Jitai Niu Marko Canadija Goran Turkalj Domagoj Lanc 2009Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,2:2
Effect of Welding Paramenter on Joint Property of Aluminum Matrix Composite in Liquid-Phase-Impacting Diffusion Welding显示文摘In this paper, a new method for welding SiCp/101A was put forward. It is LPI (liquid-phase-impacting) diffusionwelding. Through LPI diffusion welding SiCp/101A aluminum, the effect of welding parameters on the weldedjoint property was investigated, and the optimal welding parameters were brought forward at the same time. Themicrostructure of joint was analyzed by means of optical-microscope, scanning electron microscope in order to studythe relationship between the macro-properties of joint and the microstructure. The results show that LPI diffusionwelding could be used for welding aluminum matrix composites SiCp/101A successfully.Wei GUO Qingchang MENG Jitai NIU Xinmei ZHANG 2003Journal of Materials Science & Technology2003,19,z1:2

Effect of AIN Particulate Size on Superplasticity of AINp/6061 Al Composites显示文摘Superplastic tensile tests of AINp/6061 Al Compostics, fabricated by powder metallurgy techniques, were performed st strain rates ranging from 10-1-10-3 s-1 and at temperatwes from 833 to 893 K. Hot rolling after extrusion was employed to obtain a fine grained structure before superplastic testing. The superplastic behavior of AINp/6061 Al Composites was compared with that of AIN particulate size. Differential scanning calorimeter was used to ascertain the possibility of any partial melting in the vicinity of optimum superplastic temperatures.Lihong Han, Jitai Niu, Daming Jiang, T. 19Microstructure and Strength of Laser Welds of Sub-micron Particulate-reinforced Aluminum Matrix Composite Al_2O_(3p)/6061Al显示文摘The microstructure of laser welds of sub-micron particulate-reinforced aluminum matrix composite Al2O3p/6061Al and the weldability of the material were studied. Experimental results indicated that because of the huge specific surface area of the reinforcement, the interfacial reaction between the matrix and the reinforcement was re- strained intenslvely at elevated temperature and pulsed laser beam. The main factor affecting the weldability of the com- posite was the reinforcement segregation in the weld resulting from the push of the liquid/solid interface during the soli- dification of the molten pool. The laser pulse frequency directly affected the reinforcement segregation and the reinfor- cement distribution in the weld, so that the weldability of the composite could be improved by increasing the laser pulse frequency. On the basis of this, a satisfactory welded joint of sub-micron paniculate-reinforced aluminum matrix com- posite Al2O3p/6061Al was obtained by using appopriate welding parameters.Liming Liu, Jitai Niu 1) Department of Materials Engineering, Dalian University of Technology.
