2MXene-based wearable biosensor显示文摘Wearable multifunctional sweat-based sensingis a promising strategy for noninvasive biomarker monitoring. However,in spite of the progressive improvements through various strategies,sweat-based biosensors still face several challenges, for example, operating instability of enzymes or biomaterials, limited detection range and sensitivity, and poor shelf life of working electrodes. You Meng Johnny C Ho 2019Journal of Semiconductors2019,40,11:1
3Recent advances in flexible photodetectors based on 1D nanostructures显示文摘Semiconductor nanowires have demonstrated excellent electronic and optoelectronic properties. When integrated into photodetectors, excellent device performance can be easily attained.Apart from the exceptional performance, these nanowires can also enable robust and mechanically flexible photodetectors for various advanced utilizations that the rigid counterparts cannot perform. These unique applications include personal healthcare,next-generation robotics and many others. In this review,we would first discuss the nanowire fabrication techniques as well as the assembly methods of constructing largescale nanowire arrays. Then, the recent development of flexible photodetectors based on these different nanowire material systems is evaluated in detail. At the same time,we also introduce some recent advancement that allows individual photodetectors to integrate into a more complex system for advanced deployment. Finally,a short conclusion and outlook of challenges faced in the future of the community is presented.Senpo Yip Lifan Shen Johnny C Ho 2019Journal of Semiconductors2019,40,11:1

5Preface to the Special Issue on Flexible and Wearable Sensors for Robotics and Health显示文摘Flexible and wearable sensors that can acquire signals of pressure, temperature, optical input, chemical environment as well as human body physiological and biological parameters, are of critical importance for robotics and health,in which these sensors are hence in urgent demands. On the fundamental side, there are still substantial challenges on how to design and fabricate materials with biocompatibility, robustness and excellent mechanical flexibility,as well as to achieve sensor devices with high performance, low power consumption and good system integration capability.Meanwhile in practical applications, there are also obstacles on the integration of various kinds of sensors with flexible substrates, signal processing and power supply units. With the fast development of Internet of Things(IoT),smart sensors will as well be interconnected to form sensor networks, providing big data for our future intelligent living. All these would deliver a profound socioeconomic impact to our society.Zhiyong Fan Johnny C Ho Chuan Wang Yun-Ze Long Huan Liu 2019Journal of Semiconductors2019,40,11:0
