| 1 | Anomalous microstructure and tribological evaluation of AlCrFeNiW_(0.2)Ti_(0.5)high-entropy alloy coating manufactured by laser cladding in seawater显示文摘To evaluate the potential of high entropy alloys for marine applications,a new high entropy alloy coating of AlCrFeNiW_(0.2)Ti_(0.5)was designed and produced on Q235 steel via laser cladding.The microstructure,microhardness and tribological performances sliding against YG6 cemented carbide,GCr15 steel and Si_(3)N_(4)ceramic in seawater were studied in detail.The AlCrFeNiW_(0.2)Ti_(0.5)coating showed an anomalous’sunflower-like’morphology and consisted of BCC and ordered B2 phases.The microhardness was approximately 692.5 HV,which was 5 times higher than substrate.The coating showed more excellent tribological performances than Q235 steel and SUS304,a typical material used in seawater environment,sliding against all three coupled balls in seawater.Besides,the wear and friction of AlCrFeNiW_(0.2)Ti_(0.5)coating sliding against YG6 in seawater were most mild.The main reason was the generation of Mg(OH)_(2),CaCO_(3),metal oxides and hydroxides and the formation of protective tribo-film on the worn surface of AlCrFeNiW_(0.2)Ti_(0.5)coating in the process of reciprocated sliding.This would effectively hinder the direct contact between the worn surfaces of AlCrFeNiW_(0.2)Ti_(0.5)coating and YG6 ball,resulting in a decrease of friction coefficient and wear rate.Thus the YG6 was an ideal coupled material for AlCrFeNiW_(0.2)Ti_(0.5)coating in seawater,and the coating would become a promising wear-resisting material in ocean environment. | Hui Liang Dongxu Qiao Junwei Miao Zhiqiang Cao Hui Jiang Tongmin Wang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,26: | 8 |
| 2 | Microstructure and mechanical properties of C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5) refractory high-entropy alloys at room and high temperatures显示文摘The microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast and isothermally annealed C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5)(x=0,0.05,0.15,0.25)refractory high-entropy alloys(RHEAs)were studied.Both the as-cast and annealed RHEAs consisted of disordered body-centered cubic solid solution phase and metal carbide(MC)phase with a face-centered cubic crystal structure(Fm-3 m space group).The primary carbides were enriched with Hf and C elements and tended to form lamellar eutectic-like microstructure in the interdendrites.The lamellar eutectic-like structure in the interdendrites would be formed from the decomposition of sub-carbide M_(2)C under the influence of Hf element.After isothermal annealing,slatted carbides were precipitated on the matrix,and the distribution became more uniform with high C content.The formation of carbides strongly influenced the mechanical properties both at room and high temperatures.The yield strength values of C_(x)Hf_(0.25)NbTaW_(0.5) RHEA at 1473 and 1673 K were 792 and 749 MPa,respectively.The result had exceeded the high temperature mechanical properties of currently known RHEAs.Moreover,this RHEA exhibited high-temperature performance stability and excellent plasticity,exceeding 30 and 50%at room and elevated temperatures(above 1273 K),respectively.During thermal deformation,carbon-containing RHEAs obtained more severe work hardening than that of ACHO RHEAs,and required greater dynamic recrystallization to achieve the dynamic equilibrium. | Shiyu Wu Dongxu Qiao Haitao Zhang Junwei Miao Hongliang Zhao Jun Wang Yiping Lu Tongmin Wang Tingju Li | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,2: | 4 |

| 4 | VKSE-MO: verifiable keyword search over encrypted data in multi-owner settings显示文摘Searchable encryption(SE) techniques allow cloud clients to easily store data and search encrypted data in a privacy-preserving manner, where most of SE schemes treat the cloud server as honest-but-curious.However, in practice, the cloud server is a semi-honest-but-curious third-party, which only executes a fraction of search operations and returns a fraction of false search results to save its computational and bandwidth resources. Thus, it is important to provide a results verification method to guarantee the correctness of the search results. Existing SE schemes allow multiple data owners to upload different records to the cloud server,but these schemes have very high computational and storage overheads when applied in a different but more practical setting where each record is co-owned by multiple data owners. To address this problem, we develop a verifiable keyword search over encrypted data in multi-owner settings(VKSE-MO) scheme by exploiting the multisignatures technique. Thus, our scheme only requires a single index for each record and data users are assured of the correctness of the search results in challenging settings. Our formal security analysis proved that the VKSE-MO scheme is secure against a chosen-keyword attack under a random oracle model. | 5 | A new global gridded sea surface temperature product constructed from infrared and microwave radiometer data using the optimum interpolation method显示文摘A new 0.1° gridded daily sea surface temperature(SST) data product is presented covering the years 2003–2015. It is created by fusing satellite SST data retrievals from four microwave(Wind Sat, AMSR-E, ASMR2 and HY-2 A RM)and two infrared(MODIS and AVHRR) radiometers(RMs) based on the optimum interpolation(OI) method. The effect of including HY-2 A RM SST data in the fusion product is studied, and the accuracy of the new SST product is determined by various comparisons with moored and drifting buoy measurements. An evaluation using global tropical moored buoy measurements shows that the root mean square error(RMSE) of the new gridded SST product is generally less than 0.5℃. A comparison with US National Data Buoy Center meteorological and oceanographic moored buoy observations shows that the RMSE of the new product is generally less than 0.8℃. A comparison with measurements from drifting buoys shows an RMSE of 0.52–0.69℃. | 6 | Interlayer gap widened TiS_(2) for highly efficient sodium-ion storage显示文摘As an alternative for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have lately received tremendous interest due to their abundant reserves as well as low cost.Nevertheless,the lack of suitable anode materials severely hinders the application of sodium-ion batteries.TiS_(2)is elected as a representative material owing to its unique layered structure.But it always suffers from capacity fade due to poor electrochemical kinetics and structural stability.In this work,we fabricate a pre-potassiated TiS_(2)as a host material for sodium storage by an electrochemical pre-potassiation strategy.The intercalation/extraction mechanism,structural changes and reaction kinetics are completely investigated to reveal the outstanding electrochemical property of pre-potassiated TiS_(2)electrode.It turns out that the large interlayer space of pre-potassiated TiS_(2)is conducive to the diffusion of sodium ions,inducing the reduction of entropic barrier for the electrochemical reactions.In addition,the pre-potassiated host structure is still firmly maintained upon repeated cycles.Therefore,the pre-potassiated TiS_(2)presents superior rate capability(165.9 mA h g^(−1) at 1 C and 132.1 mA h g^(−1) at 20 C)and long-term cycling stability(85.3%capacity retention at 5 C after 500 cycles)for SIBs.This research provides an avenue to construct long-life sodium energy storage systems based on pre-potassiated TiS_(2). | Chengcheng Huang Yiwen Liu Runtian Zheng Zhengwei Yang Zhonghao Miao Junwei Zhang Xinhao Cai Haoxiang Yu Liyuan Zhang Jie Shu | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,12: | 1 |
| 7 | Fewer is more:efficient object detection in large aerial images显示文摘Current mainstream object detection methods for large aerial images usually divide large images into patches and then exhaustively detect the objects of interest on all patches,no matter whether there exist objects or not.This paradigm,although effective,is inefficient because the detectors have to go through all patches,severely hindering the inference speed.This paper presents an objectness activation network(OAN) to help detectors focus on fewer patches but achieve more efficient inference and more accurate results,enabling a simple and effective solution to object detection in large images.In brief,OAN is a light fully-convolutional network for judging whether each patch contains objects or not,which can be easily integrated into many object detectors and jointly trained with them end-to-end.We extensively evaluate our OAN with five advanced detectors.Using OAN,all five detectors acquire more than 30.0% speed-up on three large-scale aerial image datasets,meanwhile with consistent accuracy improvements.On extremely large Gaofen-2 images(29200 × 27620 pixels),our OAN improves the detection speed by 70.5%.Moreover,we extend our OAN to driving-scene object detection and 4K video object detection,boosting the detection speed by 112.1% and 75.0%,respectively,without sacrificing the accuracy. | Xingxing XIE Gong CHENG Qingyang LI Shicheng MIAO Ke LI Junwei HAN | 2024 | Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,1: | 1 |
